Sleigh Bells, one of the most exciting new acts to break out in 2010, are known for their chaotic, ecstatic, noisy-as-f*** anthems. On their debut album, Treats, Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss brought the ordered insanity with tracks like "Infinity Guitars," creating a heavenly din that sounded like M.I.A. fronting AC/DC (MIAC/DC?).
Below we have a sneak peek at Sleigh Bells' new video for the track "Rill Rill." And it presents an altogether quieter, gentler band.
"Rill Rill" is a sun-kissed, mid-tempo, driving song that calls to mind the lazy, psychedelic pop of The Flaming Lips. Fittingly, the sneak peek of the video reveals a road trip theme, as Derek and Alexis cruise down the highway, letting their hands coast on the air out the windows, taking life one mile at a time.
Check out the video sneak peek of Sleigh Bells' "Rill Rill." The full-length video premieres on MTV.com on Thursday, January 27. Sleigh Bells' Treats album is out now.

I don't know about you guys, but I think the Jonas Brothers spent the first half of the summer standing in front of the mirror practicing their AC/DC stage moves, because Nick, Kev and Jo-Jo HAVE STEPPED THEIR STAGE MOVE GAME UP.
These guys look like they're playing "You Shook Me All Night Long"! The above pic was snapped on Saturday night in Tinley Park, Illinois, where the JB's kicked off the somewhat redundantly titled "Jonas Brothers: Live In Concert" tour.
Check below to see all the Jonas Brothers spiffy, new stage moves that make them look like rock and roll gods. And be sure to check out all the Jonas Brothers tour dates so that you can experience the realness in person.

+ Yesterday we talked about the blatant and subliminal product placement in Lady Gaga's epic "Telephone" video. But the Beyoncé-aided clip isn't just one big commercial; it's also drawn a lot of attention for its brazen displays of female sexuality and violence. But for Gaga, those themes are old hat. So why the outcry? "Hearing people say the video is sadomasochistic or that the video promotes murder for young people ... I’ve done those themes in many of my videos but it's because it's with Beyoncé and it’s because there are so many homosexual themes." (I'm Not Obsessed)
+ The South By Southwest Conference and Festival is usually an opportunity for up-and-coming bands to make a name for themselves. But last night it served as a platform for an old, established and occasionally forgotten band to announce their return. Stone Temple Pilots rocked the Austin Music Hall, with troubled lead singer Scott Weiland making a triumphant return to the stage. (MTV News)
+ Yesterday, we playfully mocked a Taylor Swift Wikipedia photo, saying it looked like the country pop star was made of wax in the shot. Today, we bring you a photo gallery of pop stars and their actual wax counterparts, including Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears. (Idolator)
+ If AC/DC is going to cancel a show, you know it's with good reason. Well, this is an awesome reason. The legendary hard-rock band had to put the kibosh on a recent gig at an Austrian airfield due to the discovery of unexploded WWII-era bombs! (Spinner)
+ When Alicia Keys played Madison Square Garden last night she did not bring out Jay-Z, as some fans might have hoped, to perform their anthem, "Empire State Of Mind." But Beyoncé is not a bad consolation prize, right? Hova's lady joined Keys onstage to perform their duet, "Put It In A Love Song." (That Grape Juice)

The Florida band Shinedown rock hard. Check the evidence: their '09 album The Sound of Madness, or their video for "If You Only Knew." Boom, the prosecution rests.
As you might have guessed, if you're a band that rocks as hard as Shinedown, it requires that you live hard as well. This, fair readers, is the overarching theme of the chat we had with drummer Barry Kerch and singer Brent Smith, on this new episode of "The 5."
This interview doesn't rock so hard at the beginning, with Kerch and Smith claiming that Shinedown is the shortest rock band in world, but then things get turned up when the reveal that the only band that might be shorter is...AC/DC! Now we are rocking again.
Then comes the hard living part: They talk about the percentage of alcohol found in Trappist ales, producer Rob Cavallo's cook-off's that would take place during the making The Sound Of Madness and the weight they gained from said cook-off's and finally the "SD" Shinedown tattos. Hard. Living.
Check out the interview below. The Sound Of Madness is available now.

What is a "TV/TV," and why MUST you have one?
1. TV/TV recently recorded with Bleu. Who is Bleu? Bleu is the producer responsible for Jonas Brothers, Boys Like Girls and Hanson. Boom -- there goes the dynamite.
2. TV/TV have already sold out shows at New York City's most exclusive venues --> The Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge and Bowery Ballroom. ShamWOW.
3. TV/TV have cut their teeth touring with rock role models like The Bravery, Artist Vs. Poet and Anarbor.
4. You're actually already a fan. Not only did lead singer Josh Ocean appear in an episode of MTV's Made, but TV/TV tunes have popped up in the soundtracks of The Hills, The Real World, Living Lohan (SCORE!) and many more!
5. Dude. Look at them.
The studly foursome, who share a tiny apartment in NYC's East Village, have been turning out jam after electro-sleaze jam since 2006, giving you way more than five reasons to be obsessed with them. Listen to their glammed-out, big-city-Kings-Of-Leon-jamming-on-AC/DC sound, and add your name to the list of TV/TV converted!

+ Pete Wentz has publicly apologized for the "cut full of glorious [Nokia] camera phones" in Fall Out Boy's "I Don't Care" video. "The version of the video that we worked on [is] not the version that aired," Wentz blogged. Awww, guess he does care after all! (Rolling Stone)
+ Kid Rock to turn his lifelong love of drinking beer into an inspired business venture. (Agent Bedhead)
+ The Hills' Audrina Patridge is getting into the spirit of Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist! Check out Audrina's Upbeat Dance Mix (perfs for getting ready to go out!) and her surprisingly high-energy "Mellow Mix." (Audrina XO)
+ AC/DC is challenging Internet savvy fans to make their own videos for "Rock and Roll Train." (Roadrunner Records)
+ Lil Wayne to blog for ESPN! Oh, happy day! (Buzzfeed)
+ Meanwhile, the day before his plane crashed, Travis Barker cut a remix for Weezy's "Got Money." Check it out, and listen up for that sweet drum action. (MTV)
+ MTV employees REALLY REALLY REALLY like playing "Rock Band." Enough to bite the head off a stuffed animal, a la Ozzy Osbourne. (Multiplayer Blog)
