Earlier this week we gave to you a look at AFI's newest video "Beautiful Thieves." The 30 second sneak peek was pretty cryptic, as was AFI frontman Davey Havok's suggestion that the finished version, "shows people being forced to be responsible for their actions, we implement that retribution, if you will."
Well, now it's time to get to the bottom of all this forced responsibility, if you will. Directed by Travis Kopach (Hinder's "Without You," Taking Back Sunday's "Sink Into Me"), "Beautiful Thieves" (which was taken from AFI's Crash Love album), finds AFI playing house band at a creepy upper-crust party.
The men wear suits, the women are decked out in white dresses; Havok pours something called Venenum, also known as venom, into a punch bowl, and in the end (spoiler alert) the punks get their revenge on high society.
You'll have to watch the video to see exactly how it all goes down. Check it out below. Crash Love is available now.

AFI's "Beautiful Thieves" video premieres Thursday, February 4 on MTV and MTV.com, but before we get the full look at the full-length video, we've got the exclusive photo above and a video clip from "Beautiful Thieves."
Listening to the song on its own, one gets the impression that there are two meanings to the glam-punk epic. One one hand, you could read "Beautiful Thieves," directed by Travis Kopach, as an imagery-heavy tale of lovers on the run. But in this short look at the "Beautiful Thieves" video, set in a large mansion with beautiful, expressionless women aimlessly wandering the grounds while suited-up men look on, you get the sense that there's something deeper at foot.
Indeed, AFI frontman Davey Havok stated that the "Beautiful Thieves" video, "shows people being forced to be responsible for their actions, we implement that retribution, if you will."
Sounds ominous, right? Watch AFI's sneak peek of "Beautiful Thieves" below, and stay tuned for the world premiere of the "Beautiful Thieves" video this Thursday, February 4 on MTV and MTV.com. Crash Love is in stores now.

Yesterday, when writing about AFI's personable appearance on "The 5" I remarked about how friendly and un-goth the dudes in AFI came off.
In this exclusive set of MTV photos the boys split the difference between their personas and their personalities. Yeah, there's a certain darkness to 'em, but they also seem like some normal, everyday rock dudes. Maybe it's Davey Havok's fuchsia shirt? Drummer Adam Carson's friendly facial expression? I don't know. Or maybe it's just the lack of eyeliner.

In this episode of "The 5," AFI -- who just released their album Crash Love -- prove themselves to be far more lighter touches than you might expect from the dudes behind "Love Like Winter."
Watch and learn as Davey Havok and the boys espouse a cruelty-free lifestyle (they're all either vegan or vegetarian), recall the time Hunter Burgan challenged Paul McCartney to an air bass-off and recall their early days of releasing singles on 7" vinyl.
After AFI's interview, watch brand-new live performance footage of "Beautiful Thieves" from the MTV Ulalume Festival. And don't miss the MTV special, "Ulalume: Howling At New Moon," on Friday, October 30 at 9 PM ET, featuring live performances by Paramore, AFI, Dead by Sunrise featuring Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, and Kid Cudi and interviews with the cast of New Moon.

You're all familiar with the MTV show "My Super Sweet 16," yes? Well how about the ghoulish, horror-themed Halloween spin-off movie, titled, "My Super Psycho Sweet 16"?
It actually premieres tonight, Friday, October 23 at 10pm ET/PT and the premise is simple:
Madison Penrose (Julianna Guill) gets everything she wants, including her wish to re-open the desolate Rollerdome for her sweet sixteen bash. Rollerdome is the site of several grisly murders a decade earlier, and things become "psycho" when the killer returns to crash her party. This fairytale Sweet 16 is going to get ugly, so consider yourself warned!
Alexa Chung had an exclusive clip from the movie yesterday on "It's On With Alexa Chung," and says the clip, "really freaked her out" because she, "hates horror movies." Why? Watch the clip to find out, but here's a hint: maybe it's a nasty head-chopping experience that turned her off the genre. You can also see the trailer below and we have lots more; cast photos, exclusive stills from the "My Super Psycho Sweet 16" movie and interviews with the cast from the red carpet premiere. Bands like AFI, Denali Thrice and more are included in the film's soundtrack too. You really shouldn't miss out. Check out all the extra goodies we have on "My Super Psycho Sweet 16" and don't forget to tune in tonight.

Ok, wtf is Ulalume? Well, it's a poem written by macabre and goth-y 19th century poet Edgar Allan Poe (you were awake in English class, right?). It's also the name of MTV's inaugural Ulalume: Howling At New Moon music festival. Wait, it all makes sense and is less esoteric than you think, or sort of.
The music festival takes place at Columbia, Maryland's Merriweather Post Pavilion tomorrow (October 23) and while Poe was born in Boston, the poet is buried in Maryland (not too far from Poe's grave (spooky!). Plus, the Ulalume fest is Halloween-themed (New Moon! Vampires, werewolves, unrequited crushes!) and premieres on MTV, Friday October 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET. And Twilight fans take note! Cast members from New Moon will be part of this one-hour on-air special, and they will be unveiling an exclusive look at a never-before-seen clip from the highly anticipated release of the second Twilight installment.
Ok, you're not a history buff. How about a fan of groups like Paramore and AFI? Yes, Ulalume has a kick-ass line up that not only includes those headliners, but also features Dead By Sunrise the new band by Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Kid Cudi and more (umm, rad, right? Buy your tickets here if you haven't already). Come out and celebrate all things spooky in honor of Halloween at the festival if you can make it and if not, tune into MTV next Friday.
BUT, if you don't want to wait long (and you shouldn't), we'll be rolling out bonus performances, interviews, photos and more all next week starting Monday October 26. Check into Buzzworthy and MTV.com for more. Wanna know more? Check out the official Ulalume site on MTVU and or go to Halloween.MTV.com where all our festival highlights will appear. Oh, and let's not forget the hot hostess of the show that's a bit on the jet-black gothy side as well, celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D. Check out our Ulalume video playlist below and a sexy photo of our hostess with the mmm..mostess.

For this edition of MTV's "Halloween Horrors" you're gonna want to get yourself a big old, "Awwwww" ready. The goth-and-rollers of AFI -- who are currently out on the mtvU Ulalume Festival with Paramore -- may look like some freaks that come out at night, some dudes who are far more prone to trickin' before treatin', or what have you. But these guys are basically a bunch of sweet, softie gingerbread cookies!
Taping Charlie Brown's It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown back in the days of VHS? Dressing up like robots and hobos in Halloweens past? Adorbs! Oh, and like Flyleaf before them, they also weigh in on the ever raging Zombie vs. Manson debate.
