Well, hello there MTV Featured Artist of the Week, Kristinia DeBarge. How are things? Good, glad to hear it. Why yes, I have enjoyed the 80's-ish sugary pop of your debut album, Exposed! Thanks for asking!
I especially like your take on the Ryan Tedder-penned jam "Future Love." What's that you say? I should check out your live performance of said song in the video below? Great! And I should try not to be alarmed at the slightly creepy guys behind you dressed like a horror movie version of America's Best Dance Crew faves The Jabbawockeez? I will keep that in mind.
Oh and can you repeat that last thing? That while I'm at it I should dig into another live performance of your song "Sabotage"? What an embarrassment of riches. Thanks, Kristinia DeBarge!

Yes, that's Lil Mama, and no, sadly, this photo wasn't taken at Heidi Klum's annual Halloween party. Lil Mama actually arrived at the 2007 VMAs dressed like she'd just crawled out of the womb. And as if purple satin and puffy babydoll sleeves weren't criminal enough, Lil Mams had the gall to top it off with a matching bonnet and bejeweled passy. Classy! We get it, we get it. You're the voice of the young people. And the voice of the sippy cup set too, apparently. Except we can't really understand what the hell you're saying because you've got a DAMNED PACIFIER IN YOUR MOUTH, which makes us wonder if you were wearing a diaper under there too.
Thankfully Lil Mama's grown up and glossed up a bit in the past year on America's Best Dance Crew and hopefully will restrict he whole voice-of-the-young-people thing to metaphor.
But, that leaves room for someone else to take home an unofficial Moonman for worst-dressed celeb at this year's VMAs. Who do you think will show up to the 2008 VMAs in an outfit that, well, totally sucks?

These days it's all about discovering the next big tween star. And while the current issue of Vanity Fair spotlights Amanda Seyfried, Emma Roberts, Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart as "Hollywood's Next Wave," TVGuide.com steps up to the plate by releasing their own list of "The 13 Hottest Young Stars To Watch."
So who made the cut? Not surprisingly, the top slots all belong to the newest crop of Disney and Nickelodeon ministars -- or as we call them, "Mileys in the Makings" -- with Selena Gomez ranking first, followed closely by Demi Lovato (called it!) and Miranda Cosgrove. Meanwhile, identical twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse share the fourth spot, Julia Roberts' niece snags seventh place and the already-famous-by-association Ali Lohan peters in at Number 9.
But alas, not everyone could make the Top 13. Missing from the list are Tiny Masters of Today, Natalia LaFourcade (seriously, WTF is up with this gymnastics photo??), and that annoying little redheaded kid Anthony Gargiula (you've seen him on Ellen, wearing the world's smallest and creepiest tuxedo) who needs to be stopped lest he becomes the next Clay Aiken. Check out the rest of the Hot Young Things list after the jump and a video of Ali Lohan following in her sister's footsteps -- no, not those footsteps... or those... her shopping footsteps.

We weren't lying. On last week's inaugural episode of FNMTV, we brought in Pete Wentz, and we brought back music videos -- real, actual, full-length ones and even some classics too from before you were born. Plus: lots of really enthusiastic audience members, special effects that stopped just short of pyrotechnics and Cirque du Soleil illusionists, and real actual DISCUSSION about videos. People. Talking about videos. After the videos aired. On television. on MUSIC television.
But in case you're not the type to dwell in the past, tomorrow night's show -- tune in Friday, June 20 at 8pm ET/PT -- features performances by Duffy and Lil Wayne, plus guest appearances and video premieres from...
Vampire Weekend - "Oxford Comma"
Boys Like Girls - "Thunder"
Lil Mama featuring T-Pain - "What It Is (Strike A Pose)"
Shawty Lo - "Foolish" (remix)
+ After the jump -- highlights from last week's show.

We've read (admittedly) more than our fair share of Mark Ronson gossip lately -- he was bitten by a dog (boo), and he broke up with his girlfriend (um, YAY!?), but worst of all: Pam Anderson wants to hit that?
Now you listen here, Pam. (You too, Winona Ryder. We know how you love the nerdish musician boys). We've steadfastly adored Mark for longer than the duration of your last two marriages combined. True, you may look better in an obscenely revealing red bathing suit, but if you so much as lay an acrylic-tipped finger on Marky Mark, we will call upon our resources (Jagged Edge, awesomeness, whoever wins America's Best Dance Crew and possibly Randy Jackson himself, but that hasn't been totally confirmed yet) and challenge you to an R&B dance off like the one in the Nivea video below.
Consider yourself warned.
PS: We hear Josiah Leming isn't too busy these days.
