Anarbor's "Whiskey in Hell" is the latest in a long line of bad-boy anthems, a cousin to jams ranging from Buckcherry's "Lit Up" to, uh, every Van Halen song. The new track definitely finds the Arizona band running with the devil: smoking a pack a day, rolling extra medicinal items ("cuz one just ain't enough") and getting drunk enough to make Snooki blush. "I hope there's some whiskey in hell," the chorus goes, "'Cuz I'm already on my way." We'd be rooting for frozen yogurt, but do your thing, fellas. As long as you take a designated driver -- safety first.
The track's explosive percussion and muscular riffs sound straight from the gym, making for a heavier sound than the catchy rockers are known for -- think more Queens Of The Stone Age, less Warped Tour. That's not to say it won't get you singing along while you fill up your glass (with gingerade kombucha, of course. Your body is a temple!). We'll see if the new direction sticks: "Whiskey in Hell" is the first new song from Anarbor since last year's "The Mixtape," and according to the band's mysterious Twitter page, it's from their "New album, maybe? :)" Details, dudes! We need details! Also, more cowbell. The devil loves cowbell. Please rock responsibly.

Over the course of 2010, we've been able to give you intimate, behind-the-scenes, up-close-and-personal looks at some of your favorite artists on MTV's Posted. The best part about the Posted blogs, tour diaries, photos and videos we've gotten all year is the amount of access to and involvement with the artists. And in the following videos--some of our favorites of the Posted collection--you'll see just how involved.
These videos all have a bit of humor to them and were all partly crafted by the Posted artists they feature.
First we have the band Anarbor interviewing Andrew W.K., one of Ann Arbor, Michigan's favorite sons. In the second video, some of the boys from Paramore show off the punk rock power...of Polka (!?). Keeping with the "keeping it light" theme, find out what happens when We The Kings' Travis Clark gets confused for Ke$ha.
In the fourth Posted video, A Day To Remember gets intimately familiar with the heart-attack-inducing Full English Breakfast. And finally, Jordan Witzigreuter from The Ready Set performs a little improv theater.
Watch some of our favorite Posted videos below and check out photos, videos and read blogs from all these artists and more at Posted.MTV.com.

Anarbor has had a pretty good year. The Arizona band with a Michigan-referencing name released its full-length album, The Words You Don't Swallow and was named The Favorite of The Freshmen 5 on mtvU. But judging by the video premiere for "Gypsy Woman," the group's luck is about to change.
Set in a room that looks more like a dungeon than a band rehearsal space, "Gypsy Woman" finds Anarbor rocking out while the titular gypsy woman practices some dark magic on the boys, stabbing voodoo dolls with pins and causing all manner of chaos among the band.
Directed by Jesse Eweles, "Gypsy Woman," features some charmingly lo-fi effects and a overall, tattered and ragged vibe that fits the classic-rock feel of the song.
Check out the video below. The Words You Don't Swallow is out now.

Anarbor's new album The Words You Don't Swallow, isn't officially out until Tuesday, April 20, but we've got the entire album a week before its release on MTV.com's The Leak. So you can memorize every word of Anarbor's hooky, whip-smart "The Words You Don't Swallow" album before you sing along with the guys on the Vans Warped Tour this summer.

And watch this classic Anarbor Buzzworthy interview to see why these guys will crush you in any sport.

What is a "TV/TV," and why MUST you have one?
1. TV/TV recently recorded with Bleu. Who is Bleu? Bleu is the producer responsible for Jonas Brothers, Boys Like Girls and Hanson. Boom -- there goes the dynamite.
2. TV/TV have already sold out shows at New York City's most exclusive venues --> The Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge and Bowery Ballroom. ShamWOW.
3. TV/TV have cut their teeth touring with rock role models like The Bravery, Artist Vs. Poet and Anarbor.
4. You're actually already a fan. Not only did lead singer Josh Ocean appear in an episode of MTV's Made, but TV/TV tunes have popped up in the soundtracks of The Hills, The Real World, Living Lohan (SCORE!) and many more!
5. Dude. Look at them.
The studly foursome, who share a tiny apartment in NYC's East Village, have been turning out jam after electro-sleaze jam since 2006, giving you way more than five reasons to be obsessed with them. Listen to their glammed-out, big-city-Kings-Of-Leon-jamming-on-AC/DC sound, and add your name to the list of TV/TV converted!

Anarbor, you may have a challenge on your hands. In their episode of "The 5," Orlando alt-rockers There For Tomorrow (who kinda look like bad-ass Jonas Brothers) go into great detail about their love of sports. They've found that the only way to stay sane on tour is to be constantly engaged in athletic activities.
Last week, on another episode of "The 5," Arizona band Anarbor claimed to be masters of all sports. All of them. They went so far as to claim that they could kick any band's ass at any game.
Neither squad of gangly rockers looks particularly athletic, which makes the whole idea even more interesting. Can you imagine these shaggy mopers sweating it out in a half-court press? I promise you that I will do everything in my power to make that happen.
In the meantime, know this: There For Tomorrow have a secret weapon that just may exploit Anarbor's Achilles heel. One of them used to be a cheerleader. To find out which one, and to get the buzz on A Little Bit Faster -- There For Tomorrow's debut album, due out any minute -- just click play below. I'll get to work on renting a gym.

Anarbor's first show went down at a roller rink in sixth grade. They got twenty bucks for it, bought a pizza and brought it over to Mike's house for a pool party. They were 13. As they'll tell you in a few minutes, old buddies Mike, Slade, Adam and Greg have had Anarbor longer than they've had pubes. Can we say pubes? Hmm. Too late.
Criss-crossing the country as we speak, playing with Forgive Durden, then The Cab, and finally with the raggedy cast of the Vans Warped Tour, these Phoenix-raised hooligans have come a long way since Skateland. On the strength of tight, thumping singles like "Let The Games Begin" and "The Brightest Green," Anarbor have quickly propelled themselves upward through the pop-punk minor leagues.
In the exclusive MTV Buzzworthy interview below, discover what secret edge Anarbor has on all other bands -- not to mention all other people -- and learn what unexpected obsession gets them so wound up that they lisp. Here's a clue: They're bomb at hackysack.

Hey! After Cute Is What We Aim For, Meg & Dia, Breathe Carolina, Every Avenue and Anarbor hit the stage at NYC's Fillmore / Irving Plaza tonight, all of the Take Action Tour bands will be running a jeans drive and doing an acoustic performance tomorrow at the DoSomething.org offices (address below)!!!
First off, I gotta tip my hat to DoSomething.org for having one of the most straightforward URLs on the internet. None of this "AOL" ambiguity. Do something. Dot org.
Also, while my hat is off, I tip my toupee to Hopeless Records. The non-profit Sub City subsidiary (!) signs bands only on the condition that they fulfill certain pro-social commitments throughout their recording and touring process. In their nine years of existence, Hopeless has raised more than 1.5 million dollars for more than 50 charities. That's $1,500,000.
Finally, I tip my dandruff to the bands on the Take Action Tour, who are clearly in it for more than free Ed Hardy t-shirts. Super cool of them to show up and get people excited about a good cause. People like me. That's right. You heard it here first. I'm excited about jeans. Here's them deets.
Take Action Tour Jeans Drive
THURS FEB 19, 4-6 PM
24-32 Union Square East | 4th Floor
New York, NY 10003
RUN! Bring jeans! Or at least wear cute underwear! More tour dates after the jump!
