They put their asses on the line for you, and MTV is honoring U.S. veterans with an all-star musical salute.

Tonight at 8pm ET, tune into "A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE," with live performances by 50 Cent (in full fatigue gear!), Kanye West, Kid Rock, Linkin Park, Taylor Swift, Ludacris, Hinder, and more performers rocking the Nokia Theater in New York City to honor U.S. veterans and support BRAVE: the Bill of Rights for American Veterans -- a petition organized by MTV and several veterans' organizations that call on elected officials to enact positive legislative changes to help our veterans gain access to proper mental health care, avoid homeless, give disabled vets the care they need, fund veterans' hospitals, and provide just compensation for soldiers.

"A Night for Vets" also features performances by Juanes, O.A.R, Saving Abel, Angels & Airwaves, and appearances by Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Ciara, Ne-Yo and Keri Hilson, Justin Timberlake, Will Ferrell and Will.I.Am and CNN resident hot brainiac Anderson Cooper.

Check out performances, photos and backstage coverage, see how one vet is helping soldiers cope with post-traumatic stress disorder, how other vets adjust to college, find out more about BRAVE -- sign the petition here, and watch MTV honor American soldiers on tonight's show at 8pm ET.

Tom DeLonge stopped by Buzzworthy Studios with his first love -- his acoustic guitar -- and revealed his second love -- the one recurring punk riff (he copped it from guitarist Brian Baker of Bad Religion, Minor Threat and Dag Nasty) that kickstarted his career and followed him from his middle school days through blink, straight into AVA's "Everything's Magic."

Watch Tom riff on his favorite riff, watch the videos that feature his trademark motif, and check out Buzzworthy's exclusive interview with Tom, where he discusses his documentary, Start the Machine, I-Empire, and his sobriety.

More videos after the jump.

The men of Ludo -- St. Louis' illest power-poppers -- are not afraid to take the stage dressed like the prom scene in Grease (and, like Danny Zuko, lead singer Andrew Volpe indeed rocks the throwback pompadour), celebrate facial hair with their "Cinco de Mustache" shows and elevate tooth brushing to a near-art form. So it should come as no surprise that the unabashedly bombastic band happily agreed to send us dispatches from the road.

Check out our first exclusive Ludo tour video below -- highlights: Jamba Juice, dead birds, barechestedness! -- find out more about the band here, and catch them on the road supporting Angels & Airwaves, Presidents of the United States of the United States of America (!!!), Buzzworthy tour blog alum the Spill Canvas and on the Warped Tour later this summer.

Ever wish you could meet Tom DeLonge in a dark alley ... you know, so he could lead you to a better world? Well, Angels & Airwaves' new video, "Secret Crowds," gives you a taste of what life would be like if Tom were in charge of things. There'd be peace, love, powder-white snow, kick-ass concerts and some very large letters hanging out in the middle of the desert. Sure, sign us up. But what exactly does it all mean? Watch the video and tell us what you think...

The other night, we headed over to Roseland Ballroom to check out a sold-out Angels & Airwaves show. After handing over our golden ticket, we caught the tail end of Meg & Dia's opening set. And after their performance (and earlier ones by The Color Fred and Ace Enders), we were lucky enough to steal a few minutes with the former Discover & Download duo, even though Meg had almost totally lost her voice due to the flu. Their dressing room walls pulsated as AVA stepped on stage and tore into their first song and we strained to hear what the sisters had to say about their upcoming album and being on the road with a bunch of guys.

Buzzworthy: How did you guys hook up with Angels & Airwaves for this tour?

Dia: Meg and I designed a shoe for Macbeth, which is Tom DeLonge's shoe company. And I guess they wanted us or otherwise we wouldn't be here. It's really flattering. Every day we come and we play and we see the guys and we're like, "Thank you so much. Can we go, like, wash your bus or something?" We're so lucky to be on this tour.

'Tis the season for lots o' leftovers. Yesterday we gave you some yummy tidbits about Flyleaf, our Artist of the Week, and now we wanna serve you a heaping helping of what's left of the interview we did with Angels & Airwaves' Tom DeLonge at the TRL Rock Band special. So sit back, loosen your belt and enjoy…

Buzzworthy: What artists are you listening to these days?

Tom DeLonge: I was forced to listen to the new [Bruce] Springsteen record and I loved it. Forced in a beautiful way -- it was the only CD in the car. I love him. And I'm listening to a lot of Frank Sinatra right now because I'm always trying to relax.

BW: Do you play a lot of video games?

TD: No. My brother does, though.

BW: When you're on the road, what are some must-haves on your tour bus?

TD: We rent a bus when we go on tour, so they're always different. But we always have satellite, a DVD player. I usually try to have a shower on there, too. As a band, we try to stay close, so we all shower together. [Laughs.]

With "Everything's Magic," Tom DeLonge is convinced that his band Angels & Airwaves has a huge hit on its hands … one that comes complete with a catchy beat, a cutesy handclap, a celestial experience and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it girl-on-girl kiss.

When we spoke to him at the TRL Rock Band special, he told us that he thinks the song will stand the test of time: "When I listen to it, it's a song I can hear 20 years from now. The idea of saying 'everything's magic,' you never get tired of hearing that line."

His vision behind the video? "They're all coming there to witness a celestial event and they fall asleep and miss it just by a hair," he said. "It's weird, though, because it's not like the other stuff we've done. We don't want all our videos to be the same, but I think we'll be doing some more celestial stuff very soon."

And, uh, how do two girls kissing fit into the whole concept? "We wanted to show love and what it could become and how it's the thread that pulls everyone together," he said.

So, tell us, does "Everything's Magic" have what it takes to be a hit?

We were backstage during today's TRL Rock Band special, crammed into a tiny room at the Times Square Hard Rock with Angels & Airwaves, Sebastian Bach and Flyleaf. (Poor us, right?) The tight quarters gave us a chance to get up close and personal with AVA's Tom DeLonge. Here's what we found out about his band's new album, his addiction to pain killers and what the deal is between him and his former Blink-182 bandmates.

Buzzworthy: Tell us about your documentary, Start the Machine.

Tom DeLonge: The documentary is being finished right now, and it was submitted to Sundance. It's an odyssey, and we've been working on it for two years. It started out as a making of the record and then the story got pretty insane. I broke my back years ago and got spun out on all these narcotics, so when we were making the first Angels & Airwaves record [We Don't Need to Whisper] all that stuff kind of exploded and I went out into the press with all these crazy things and all this controversy erupted.

BW: Because of something you said?

TD: Yeah, 'cause I went out and said [the band] was the second coming of Christ. But that's what's funny in the documentary; I was like, "If God came down I really, truly believe it wouldn’t be bigger than this record." [Laughs.]
