+ Let's face it -- it's old news that Avril Lavigne's marriage to Sum41 frontman Deryck Whibley may be on the rocks for a while now, but this new report seems to seal the deal, don't it? (WWTDD?)

+ BEYONCE will perform at the 2009 VMAs! But you knew that, right? (MTV News)

+ Wait... is Jordin Sparks NOT INVITED to Kevin Jonas' wedding? (Confidential to Kevin -- Register at Bed  Bath & Beyond. They let you return EVERYTHING for cash! Oh wait...  You don't need casth.) (MTV News)

+ We've always been a huge fan of Shania Twain... from her personal story of tragedy and triumph, to her cheesefest lyrics and catchy hooks, everything about her is absolutely perfect. So when news broke that she was getting a divorce from her longtime companion and producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, it seems like the earth stood still! But talk about a huge slap in a dirty dog's face: Shania is engaged to the guy whose wife cheated on him with Shania's hubster! To quote my favorite movie-turned-TV-show, Heathers, "Lick it up, baby. LICK. IT. UP." (Star Magazine)

+ Here's Rihanna doing the September 2009 cover of Italian Vogue, looking nothing like herself whatsoever. (ICYDK)

+ Madonna was briefly booed at a concert in Bucharest last night, after bringing up the issue of discrimination against "gypsies," Eastern Europe's most socially and economically disadvantaged minority. (E! Online)

+ If early reviews are correct, Whitney Houston looks like she's on track to get a Grammy for her most recent album of work (her first in seven years). And it's not even available for sale yet! (Rap-Up)

+ In case you were wondering what it was like to be in Times Square with Britney Spears during Monday's Twitter scavenger hunt, check this out. Totally reminds us of TRL, circa 1998. PS -- I DEFINITELY went to Brit's show last night, and it was nothing short of fan-effing-tastic. (BritneySpears.com)

Oh dear. Georg has a girlfriend?  Our friends at Tokio Hotel America informed us that Georg CONFIRMED he has girlfriend in a recent Bravo article. I just want good things for him, you know? Like, I just want him to be happy. But that means there are only THREE Tokio Hotel menfolk left on the market.

Bravo: Who of you are in love?
Georg: I have a girlfriend. We have been together for six months. She is not known and would not be it. I met her in Magdeburg at a party – and it seems to be the big love, the guys also think that she is nice

I GUESS I shall accept that George has a girlfriend/ "freundin," since Tom -- who's obviously saving himself for Jessica Alba -- Bill, and Gustav seem to accept her too. Just as long as she doesn't go all Yoko on Tokio and break up the band.

Also, do you like my horrendous/ kind-of awesome MS Paint skills? And HOW did Bill get taller?

Naysayers/ those holding out hope for Georg, watch this:

Good news for Avril fans, fans of celebrity perfumes, the pink-and-black color combo, and fans of perfumes that share the same name as a Radiohead song. Avril Lavigne's brand-new perfume, "Black Star," just hit Kohl's stores nationwide, and I had the chance to get a few deep-down whiffs of eau d'Avril just this morning. Here's what Avril's "Black Star" smells like:

+ Hibiscus
+ Dark chocolate (nom!!)
+ "Electric Youth" -- the Debbie Gibson fragrance that most of 1990 smelled like and that also smelled like poison.

Avril's "Black Star" has some sensual plum notes, and heavy opening notes of citrus. Honestly, when I first smelled it, I immediately though of "Electric Youth." Which isn't a good thing. BUT, after the drydown, "Black Star" grew on me, and my colleague at the MTV Remote Control Blog RAVED that it smelled like the fresh and fruity teas and towels you get at a spa. (HM! I WOULDN'T KNOW, Remote Control!) Meanwhile Buzzworthy's Travis was an insta-fan, declared it better than Britney's fragrances and exclaimed "If i was straight, i would want you to wear that."

Anyway, Avril's "Black Star" fragrance is definitely not the best damn thing I've ever sprayed in the vicinity of my nose, but it's certainly not one of those cloying, old-lady perfumes. And it's 100% better than Diddy's "I Am King." If you're into light, juicy, "pink" perfumes, by all means, give it a shot. "Black Star" is $29 for the 30ml and $39 for the 50ml.

AND, just in case you don't follow Avril but were wondering WTF happened to her, she's in the studio working on a new album, which should be out November 17. (So step OFF, haters!) PS! Watch my FAVORITE Avril video after the jump!

Personas are important, but they're distracting. I'm thinking of Pink, in particular, who has done so much to define herself as a wild-haired rocker bad-ass, that it's easy to totally overlook the fact that she's also super talented. In other words, it can be hard to hear -- over all the hollering and snarling she's rightfully famous for -- that Pink can sing like nobody's business.

Butch Walker looks real tough, too, but he's another story altogether. He's been chipping away at the music industry since the mid '80s, working as a songwriter, producer and a member of several successful bands. He's played pop metal, glam, and straight up rock with bands like SouthGang and Marvelous 3, never restricting himself to any particular genre. Between gigs he's made records for artists as diverse as Avril Lavigne, Lindsay Lohan, Hot Hot Heat, Pete Yorn, The Academy Is..., The Cab and, wouldn't you know it, Pink.

Outside of the studio, Butch and Pink (who share a motorcycle obsession, among other things) have been drinking buddies for ages. He played her "Here Comes The..." way back, when he first wrote it, and she was instantly smitten. Told Butch that if and when he ever recorded it, she wanted to take care of the harmonies for him. When the time came, that's exactly what she did.

In his latest effort, a solo stint that's produced a record called Sycamore Meadows, Butch Walker plays boozy, drawling rock, true to his Georgia roots. "Here Comes The...," the album's second single, is a rollicking bar room reel. And, although Pink doesn't appear in the hilariously weird mannequin-love video below, she carries the tune with backing vocals that ooze old-country soul. By checking her persona at the door, Pink lets previously overshadowed talent shine through, possibly ushering in a new direction for her music and a more solid identity for Butch Walker's.

Like their Los Angeles hometown, it's always 70 degrees in the minds of hair metal band Steel Panther. It's also always approximately 1986.

Steel Panther, formerly Metal Skool, have been working L.A.'s notorious Sunset Strip harder than a stripper in stilettos, and they've accumulated more famous friends than you've got Facebook friends: Kelly Clarkson, Benji Madden, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park's M. Shadows, David Cook, and scores of other celebrities have joined them on stage to cover '80s metal classics by Skid Row, Journey's epic "Don't Stop Believin'," and LOTS of Guns N' Roses. (Steel Panther's also responsible for the cover of Aldo Nova's "Fantasy" used as the theme song of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory.)

Watch Stix Zadinia, Satchel, Michael Starr, and Lexxi Foxxx reveal five never-before-revealed things about Steal Panther -- including the unspeakable, peanut-butter-based things they'd like to your lady area -- in this groundbreaking episode of "The 5." (It's the first one we've ever had to age-restrict! RAWK!)

Like how that felt? Pick up Steel Panther's new album, Feel the Steel when it comes out in November.

+ Plus: Watch "Death to All But Metal" after the jump!

Two weeks ago we learned that Evan Taubenfeld loves fruit. LOVES it (perhaps a trait he picked up from his Kosher caterer parents?). This week we find out what he looks like eating it. Unsurprisingly, he looks really, really good. And blonde.

Well... not exactly. As much as Avril Lavigne's former guitarist loves him some apples and bananas, he didn't have any on him when he dropped by the MTV photo studio. Nothin' a little Photoshop can't fix though, eh?

To help you get extra quadruple-stoked about Evan's new record, Blacklist Club, dropping this summer, here's a stunning photo set of E.T. looking his finest. Drop back on that last post to watch his video for "Boy Meets Girl."

+ MTV Exclusive: Evan Taubenfeld Photo Gallery

If you recognize Evan Taubenfeld, it's probably because he used to play guitar in Avril Lavigne's band. That, or you're already a member of The Blacklist Club, the family, army and movement that shares its name with his debut album, due out this summer.

The Baltimore artist with the bleached blond hair, who claims to be better looking than Brad Pitt, has already released his lead single, "Boy Meets Girl." In it, he describes his sound as "Twisted Sister meets Mr. Mister," and that's not so far off ("Motorhead meets The Grateful Dead in a game of Twister" is a harder sell). He combines Mr. Mister's pop ballad sentimentality with Twisted Sister's irreverent hard rock energy. Kinda like ... Avril? What's not to like?!

Last time Evan Taubenfeld appeared on Buzzworthy, it was because he popped up in The Academy Is... bassist Adam Siska's Twitter (by the way, that's @siskybusiness, and Evan Twitters at @evantaubenfeld) This time it's because he's about to blow up.

We sat down with Evan Taubenfeld and had him list off five crucial things for prospective fans to know about The Blacklist Club. Magic and fruit are among them. Click play below to get the whole scoop, and watch Evan's "Boy Meets Girl" video after the jump.

When you're at a Jo Bros concert, it's extremely tempting to lose control, hyperventilate, and spend all your pre-show energy screaming/crying/texting all your friends everyone you've ever met and telling them that you're standing in the EXACT SAME ROOM as Kevin, Joe and Nick. (Trust us, we KNOW.)

But if you can (temporarily) snap yourself out of your OMJ! euphoria, you might just notice that those chicks on stage are doing a pretty good job of warming up the crowd.

We are, of course, talking about KSM, the spunky five-girl group whose Hilary Duff-y (not to be confused with actual Duffy) sound would be enough to get you revved up even if Joe Jonas WEREN'T standing in the very next room, breathing the same air as you.

The girls -- whose ages range from 15-18, despite MySpace's claim that they're really 105 -- spent the past week opening for the Jonases in Detroit (presumably while screaming/crying/hyperventilating) and convincing us that their Avril Lavigne-ish/Miley-esque vocals are the real deal.

Get to know/love KSM (all their names start with K or S and "the M is for music!") by browsing their MySpace page, hitting up their fan site and watching their amazing pre-Jonas performance.  Oh, and get ready: those K and S gals say they've got an album coming out this fall.

And from the sounds of their new single, "Distracted," we're thinking their LP may well be hyperventillation-worthy in its own right.

Looks like Nate Archibald... err, Chace Crawford (not to be confused with the former NBA baller) learned a few things about moving money around from his no-good dad. But why's he gotta take sweet, innocent Leona Lewis down with him? (Probably for the same reason he bagged all those Gossip Girls too... THOSE CHEEKBONES! THOSE ICY EYES! THAT SCRUFF!)

Watch Leona Lewis and Chace Crawford break the law for love in Leona's brand-new video, "I Will Be," co-written by Avril Lavigne and directed by Melina, who also directed Katy Perry's new "Thinking of You" video.
