Is it just us or does Avril look even more adorbz than usual curled up like a little punk rock leopard kitty?

Plus, she's racked up nearly 28 MILLION fans on Facebook, and... <editorial aside> she has a dreamy boyfriend. (Oh yeah, and Avril seems PHYSICALLY ALLERGIC to aging. There are some things you can always count on around the holidays: at least one heated fight about politics at your family dinner table, falsely promising yourself you'll never shop on Christmas Eve again and Avril Lavigne wearing fingerless gloves with a skull and her own name printed on them. The "What The Hell" singer was on hand for the famed Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC, and she perched on a giant pumpkin while greeting the crowd. She's all, "I'M ON A FLOAT!" (Lonely Island-style).

Avril was ready for winter in black boots, black leggings and a white coat ("with the furrrr") as she waved at parade goers. We're not sure if it was all that holiday cheer or if she had just seen one too many giant Peanuts character balloons, but it looks like she wasn't really down for the standard beauty queen parade wave -- she instead gave us more of a "beauty queen if your beauty queen exclusively wears Dr. Martens combat boots" wave. And that's OK.

I don't know about you guys, but if paparazzi was following me around everywhere, I'm guessing that the photos they would snap of me at the airport would be among my least flattering. Lucky for Avril Lavigne, that is not the case for her. The "What The Hell" singer was spotted recently catching a flight in Toronto, and she actually looked happy in the process. Not that we're saying Avril isn't a cheerful gal, but the airport is seriously like, one of the most miserable places ever. #firstworldproblems

Between the lines at security to having to take your shoes off in public (so gross) to the woman next to you waiting THE ENTIRE FLIGHT before eating her McDonald's Crispy Chicken Sandwich, allowing the smell of that mystery sauce to permeate every seat surrounding her (true story), flying is just kind of obnoxious. But wait, I'm forgetting that Avril is rich and famous! They don't fly with commoners, LOL! She probably has a McDonald's on the private jet she's flying. And like, a free spa or something. And gold champagne. I don't think that exists, but I've never flown private.

It seems like yesterday when you first hit the scene with "Complicated" jam--you were just 17!!!! Now you're a grown-up who's inspired the world to adore cute sk8ter bois and celebrate the unending cuteness of punk fashion. Plus, you've got that SEER-EE-US-LY hot boyfriend, Brody Jenner. Life. IS. GOOD!

Now, on your 27th birthday, we wish you many more years of success and happiness. You deserve it! You work hard! Today, you should play hooky! You should take full advantage of your special moment and embrace all those "birthday freebie" offers on your special day. Go get some free toppings on a scoop of frozen yogurt, an on-the-house b-day coffee, or just get serenaded by the waitstaff at Applebee's. Sure, you're probably financially comfortable and don't mind paying for things, but it's the small joys that make life worth living!

Anyway, no matter how you celebrate, just remember to make sure you keep getting asked for your ID. Even if people think you're old enough to be at a bar (they probably don't, since you still look 12!), just ask them to ID you. That's the secret to everlasting youth.

Avril Lavigne has A TON to be smiling about. She just launched her new video, "Wish You Were Here," her sample in Rihanna's "Cheers (Drink To That)" is awesome, and she's still going strong with her hunky BF Brody Jenner. Girl has earned that grin!

The "Smile" singer was photographed grabbing a quick lunch in Paris a few days ago, which is ANOTHER reason to be smiling -- she's in one of the most beautiful cities in the world!!! Sporting a tres punk-chic black hoodie, tight denim, and KILLER cheetah print high-heeled boots, she and Brody greeted fans on their way for some delicious French bites.

Perhaps Avril was in town getting inspiration for the follow-up collection to her latest Abbey Dawn line? Or maybe she woke up that morning and said to Brody, "Hey, B. I'm craving a super fresh croissant. I want a real one, though, none of those dry, grocery store types. Let's fly to Paris!" And when you're Avril Lavigne, you can say that kind of stuff and actually make it happen. Must be tough.
