Not every music video can feature dramatic, sweeping crane shots of snow-capped mountains and sullen, pensive stars precariously perched atop a cliff. Or naughty surprised faces and kinda-sexy come-hither winks. And not everyone can writhe around in body paint like Beyonce can or baffle us like Lady Gaga. Some of our favorite music videos of 2011 went straight for the LOLs using parody, satire, good old-fashioned sight gags and intentionally bad overacting. Here, in no particular order, are some of the, well, funniest funny videos of 2011.

+ Katy Perry, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" -- If Katy Perry had only given us Rebecca Black, it would've been enough for us. But she packed her "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" video with over-the-top cameos, including Kenny G blowing sax on a roof, Deborah Gibson and Corey Feldman AND HANSON!

+ Chromeo, "When The Night Falls" -- We're pretty sure that you can't get pregnant just by LOOKING at Chromeo's Dave 1 and P-Thugg... or CAN you? Regardless, the kid is not my son, but Chromeo better be ready to shell out thousands in child support.

+ Jessie J, "Who's Laughing Now" -- In her Emil Nava-directed video, lil Jessie J goes back to school and draws strength from bullies and haters while real Jessie J, posed as a lunch lady in serious need of a makeover, hits back with a raised middle finger and the best revenge of them: BEING FAMOUS BEING AND PAID.

+ Ke$ha, "Blow" -- Unicorns, Muenster cheese and Ke$ha are pretty much all you need to create organic hilarity, but Ke$ha totally raised the bar when she killed -- and mounted! -- James Van Der Beek.

+ Duck Sauce, "Big Bad Wolf" -- A-Trak and Armand Van Helden LITERALLY turn into d***heads in Keith Schofield's ragingly inappropriate, howlingly hilarious "Big Bad Wolf" video. But they find love, so it's almost sweet, right?

+ Beastie Boys, "Make Some Noise" -- Elijah Wood's Ad-Rock impression is scary-good. But Danny McBride as MCA and the Beasties' musical history in cameo form is almost genius.

+ Black Keys "Lonely Boy"-- If you thought that one continuous shot of a man dancing outside of a motel wouldn't be funny, then you thought way way wrong.

+ We The Kings, "Friday Is Forever/ Rebecca Black 'Friday' Mashup" -- Sometimes the funniest videos are the cheapest. And we mean that lovingly, We The Kings. Their "Friday Is Forever" video is a mashup of Rebecca Black's "Friday" and a bizarro joyride with Black Swan, Ke$ha, and Charlie Sheen all in the same car.

+ Foo Fighters, "Walk" -- Dave Grohl is fed up with just about everything, pulls a Michael-Douglas-in-"Falling-Down," minus the super unfortunate haircut, plus the unsatisfying cheeseburger, ends up tased. Guitars, not guns!

Check out more of the funniest music videos of 2011 after the jump!

This week's MTV PUSH Artist of the Week is The Black Keys, Akron, Ohio's baddest, bluesiest duo. They only went and made one of 2010's most head-nodding, foot-stomping, fist-pumping glam/neo-blues/beard-friendly slabs of rock and roll this year -- their newest album, Brothers. And if that weren't enough, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney went and made two of the best videos of the year for the Brothers songs "Next Girl" -- featuring a sleazy stuffed dinosaur -- and "Tighten Up, which stars a bunch of cheeky kids who beat the tar out of each other. Their Blakroc side project saw them collaborate with Jim Jones, RZA and Raekwon (to name just a few hip-hop elite), and if that weren't enough, their song "Chop and Change" is on the "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" soundtrack.

But before The Black Keys became your favorite band's favorite band, life was far less cool. See how The Black Keys lived before they were famous, and get a behind-the-scenes look at their "Tighten Up" video, featuring little kids wailing on each other. And of course, watch the "Tighten Up" video, too.

The Black Keys have been on a roll, people. As you may be aware, the duo's new album, Brothers, is a stellar distillation of their superfried-blues powers. They also blew our minds a couple of weeks ago with a video of a toy dinosaur macking on bikini-clad gals for their song "Next Girl."

Now comes the equally awesome clip for "Tighten Up." It starts with singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach walking his son to a playground to hang out with drummer Patrick Carney and his son. The kids resemble their dads in uncanny ways and seem to get along, despite Auerbach's progeny complaining that junior Carney "smells like ranch dressing."

Things get good when the little tykes start performing the Black Keys' jaunty, slithering song -- expertly lip-synching the lovelorn vocals. Not that you need to be told, but there's nothing better than kids pretending to sing Black Keys songs in music videos. Except maybe when kids beat up the Black Keys in music videos (this also happens).

Check out the video below, directed by Chris Marrs Piliero. Brothers is out now.

If you own a computer, there's no way you missed the fact that the track listing for the Eclipse soundtrack was just revealed. It reads like your cool cousin's iTunes "Recently Played" list. Florence + The Machine, Metric, Vampire Weekend, The Black Keys and more indie-rock-inspired artists and singles all add a musical element to the "Twilight" saga's third installment. And adding some serious music-cred gravity to the Eclipse soundtrack's offerings is Muse -- author Stephenie Meyer's favorite band. (And possibly yours too.)

Muse's contribution to the "Eclipse" soundtrack is a brand-new song, "Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)." And while "Twilight" and "New Moon" both featured Muse songs, "Eclipse" marks the first time Muse lent a brand-new song to the franchise's soundtrack.

The "Eclipse" soundtrack is out June 8, (though TRILLIONS of you obviously preordered it), but we've got a sneak peek of Muse's "Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)" video right here. Watch it and stay tuned for the video premiere on MTV.com Thursday, May 20.

The Black Keys, the bluesome (new word alert!) twosome of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, are back on the promo treadmill again, making videos, doing interviews, going on tour. It's a tough life, but it's not without its LOLs.

Take the Black Keys' new video for "Next Girl," their first single from their new album, Brothers. The album's artwork has already garnered some attention for its wry wit.

It's homage to an album cover by blues legend Howlin' Wolf.

The "Next Girl" video also has a sense of humor, just a different kind of sense.

Behold the Black Keys' attempt at selling out, making fun of the music biz, making fun of music videos and making a cool music video -- all at the same time. "Next Girl" follows a ... I'll just say it: horny dinosaur puppet as it gallivants with a bunch of barely clad ladies. All the while, running at the bottom of the screen, is a text scroll that tells us the Black Keys have nothing to do with the proceedings.

Behold, having your cake and eating it too. Brothers is out May 18. Watch their "Next Girl" video, though it may be considered somewhat NSFW.

You know who had a kind of quietly awesome year? Mos Def! True story: the Brooklyn MC/rocker/actor/activist appeared in an episode of House, starred in the underrated Next Day Air, collaborated with the indie-blues duo Black Keys on the recently released Black Roc album (along with Rza and many others) and, if all that weren't enough, made one of the best hip-hop albums of the year -- The Ecstatic.

Here we have a cool sneak peek at the video for one of The Ecstatic's most, well, ecstatic tracks, "History," which also functions as a reunion of one of hip-hop's great groups: Black Star, which featured Mos Def and his partner Talib Kweli trading verses, dropping knowledge, and generally rocking your face off.

The sneak peek for Mos Def's new video, "History" promises some rich, black and white cinematography, and Mos Def keeping it real in a suit. Keep your eyes peeled and your mind ready for the full-length "History video," coming soon.
