The Trace is that band you bring home to mom. They're badass on the outside, but probably great boyfriends supersweet on the inside. And please forgive me for not opening with a line about how talented The Trace are as musicians, but I got momentarily distracted by THEIR HANDSOME FACES.
Moving on to the tunes: Made up of four dudes from Bethlehem, PA, I'd like to call The Trace a pop-rock band because their songs are hooky enough to be pop tunes and hard-core enough to be rock songs. But there's something else floating around in the mix -- maybe it's the boys' heartfelt lyrics, or maybe it's their supertight harmonies, but The Trace possesses a unique quality that sets them apart from other pop rockers.
It's totally possible that this "quality" is actually the fact that these dudes have shared the stage with like, 10 trillion famous rockers. The Trace have performed alongside Hot Chelle Rae, Boys Like Girls, Yellowcard, The Ready Set, New Found Glory, All Time Low, Iyaz Jason Derulo and Honor Society, to name a few.
But it's not all rock for the boys. Ballads like "All In All" show the boys' softer, dare I say in-touch-with-their-feminine side: "I won't go/Until we're safe and sound/With your taste inside my mouth/Just saying, until this moment leaves/There's no place I'd rather be/Will you stay with me?" Again, this was the kind of band you could bring home to Mom! And Dad probably won't punch them out, either.
The Trace's new album The Trace EP is out now.

It's a special moment in any celebrity's life to get a wax figure at Madame Tussauds. For Kim Kardashian, that moment came today.
While in New York for the unveiling of her less tan doppelgänger, Kardashian cast off her reputation as a wallflower (kidding) and did it up real big: hanging out with her new boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin (take that Bieber!), hanging out with her family and going through the usual Kardashian routine you like to keep up with.
Kimmy made the interesting choice to wear the same outfit as her wax figure, which is usually not done. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, other than the fact that, if you look at the two of them for too long, it starts to look like a dream sequence from "The Shining."
To honor this momentous day in world history, let's ride out to Boys Like Girls' "Two Is Better Than One."

If you woke up today wishing for a video that included the words "pus bumps" as well as "herpes," plus a gratuitous nipple shot and the that's-what-she-said-meriting line "I forgot to swallow," then you should start wishing for bigger things like a black Wii. Because we actually have a video of All Time Low discussing "pus bumps" and "herpes," plus a shot of Jack Barakat's nipple and a great "that's what she said."
Watch All Time Low talk various skin anomalies in their MTV Posted video. And watch the guys perform street magic in this bonus Posted video. When it comes to the traveling rock circus that is the Bamboozle Roadshow, what happens on stage is only half the story. That's why we've asked All Time Low and Boys Like Girls -- who've been keeping us updated all month long on MTV's Posted -- to check in from the road with some behind-the-scenes video footage.
The theme for these two videos is preparation. You don't just wake up every morning, have a Coolatta, check your Facebook and become a rock star. No! It takes hard work!
Just peep the two videos below. In the first we get to see All Time Low slave away at perfecting the live version of "Keep the Change, You Filthy Animal," from last year's Nothing Personal album. In the second clip, Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls does some fine-tuning of his physique. Work that core, bro!

All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth has been keeping us posted on all the crazy performances -- and crazier offstage antics -- while the band is out on the Bamboozle Roadshow and keeping MTV updated all this month on POSTED. Lucky for all you Hustlers out there, Alex has recently checked in from the road, regaling us with stories about rain, partying and even a wedding. (Spoiler: It's not who you think!) Check his musings and a bunch of ATL goodies below!

What's up, party people! We’re out on the Bamboozle Roadshow right now. The shows are going great, and we’re having so much fun on this trip. We’re getting to play and hang out with some of our idols. It's pretty UNREAL! Good Charlotte and Third Eye Blind! Not to mention we're out again with our boys, Boys Like Girls, who we’ve missed hanging out with. We toured with them back in 2008 and haven’t really crossed paths with them since.
The shows have been great. We’ve made it halfway across the country, and now we’re making our way back to the East Coast. We’re currently in the Midwest. It looks like it's going to pour today, and the show is outside. So far we have lucked out and haven’t really dealt with much rain, but I think our luck just ran out.
At the moment, Jack is asleep in the back lounge after a long night of partying with 3EB, Zack is getting tattooed in the front lounge and I'm just hanging out watching him get inked. Rian, unfortunately, isn’t here. He had to fly home for his brother's wedding this weekend. (Congrats, Chase!)
That's it for now. Keep checking in to MTV Posted for more candid videos, pictures and blogs. I know we have a lot of videos and stuff online, but this stuff is going to be completely raw with no editing. Just some straight-up backstage footage from the tour.
If we haven’t come around yet, hope to see you on the tour!
Xoxo,
Alex

The boys from Boys Like Girls seem to think girls do not like girls. At least in the context of the queen-eat-queen world of beauty pageants. That's the lesson we learn from the video for their jam "Heart Heart Heartbreak," taken from Love Drunk, their 2008 album that just keeps on giving.
"Heart Heart Heartbreak" is a totally infectious power pop anthem, the chorus of which is bound to be clanging in your head for the rest of the day. The video, however, depicts a rather cutthroat beauty pageant, where the women contestants will stop at nothing to take the crown.
There's some sawing of high heels, some poisoning of mascara and a bunch of other acts of malfeasance, all while Boys Like Girls soak up adoration from the ladies and watch as the drama unfolds.
Check out the video below. Love Drunk is out now.

Sure, I love a good celebrity train wreck story just as much as the next girl, but I have to admit that it really warms my cold, black heart when I read about celebs making a difference. It's great when people use their fame for a good cause -- instead of just scoring free stuff at Kitson.
However, you don't have to be famous to be philanthropic. If you're looking to give back, any of the celeb-endorsed charities below would love to have you! (Exits soapbox ... )

1.) INVISIBLE CHILDREN: Invisible Children was started to educate the world about the war in Uganda where children are abducted and forced to join, fight and possibly die in the Lord's Resistance Army. What originally started with a documentary (also titled "Invisible Children"), telling the story of this horrific genocide, has launched a worldwide movement that has made a huge difference in attempting to end the turmoil in East Africa.

2.) TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS: Started by Jamie Tworkowski in 2006, To Write Love On Her Arms is a nonprofit that aims to provide hope and support for those participating in self-injury and dealing with depression, addiction and thoughts of suicide. Tworkowski even won the mtvU Good Woodie Award in 2009 for his work with the organization. Watch a behind-the-scenes clip about his nomination in the video below.

3.) SHIRTS FOR A CURE: When rock photographer Mark Beemer's wife passed away from breast cancer, he decided to start the Syrentha J. Savio Endowment and Shirts For A Cure, an organization that offers financial aid to underprivileged women fighting breast cancer. Bands donate exclusive shirt designs, and profits from the sale of these limited-edition tees go toward providing breast cancer medicine and therapy for those in need.

4.) TAKE THE WALK: Something as simple as a pair of shoes can change someone's life. It's that thought that inspired the Hanson brothers to team up with TOMS shoes and start their Take The Walk campaign, which encourages young people all over the world to participate in barefoot walks that promote the end of poverty and AIDS in Africa. With the help of fans and volunteers, Hanson have already circled the world once and have no intention of stopping there. To take the first step and learn more about the organization, watch the short documentary below.

5.) THE RICHIE-MADDEN CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION: When Joel Madden and Nicole Richie aren't busy making babies, they're busy helping them. The couple started the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation as a way to provide opportunities to children all over the world, as well as partner with existing organizations making a difference both locally and globally.

The Bamboozle concert brand is slowly taking over the nation. First, there's the original Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which takes place May 1-2. Then, to make sure the West Coast didn't feel neglected, the fest started Bamboozle Left in Irvine, California, which goes down this March 27-28. Plus, this year marks the first Midwest version of the series, which is happening in Chicago on May 15.
Finally, in case you don't live in any of those three areas, there's always the traveling Bamboozle Roadshow, which is a month-long summer tour featuring headliners like All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, LMFAO and Third Eye Blind. If your brain didn't already explode from all that pop-rock goodness, then hold on to your beanies because the Roadshow will also feature a rotating stable of support bands in each city, including Good Charlotte, Hellogoodbye, Hanson, Forever The Sickest Kids, Cartel and more.
The tour's pre-sale will run from Tuesday, March 2nd at 10 a.m. local time through Friday, March 5th at 10 p.m. local time. Tickets will then be available to the general public starting Saturday, March 6th at 10 a.m. local time.

It's been a long road, folks, but we're finally here. After all the photos, the behind the scenes looks and the sneak peeks, the time has arrived. It's the premiere of Boys Like Girls' "Two Is Better Than One."
Taken from their album, Love Drunk, BLG's "Two Is Better Than One" clip is one-part love story, one-part performance piece.
The video, directed Meiert Avis, tracks the budding, blossoming relationship between two, unnamed characters, cross-cut with the band performing the song (sans Taylor Swift, who adds harmony vox on the record) in a rained out warehouse.
So, pull up a chair and enjoy the premiere of Boys Like Girls' "Two Is Better Than One." And feel free to watch it multiple times; I find the twice is better than once.
