+ An all-Britney Spears episode of "Glee" is in the works! It's still unconfirmed whether Britney herself will appear on the show. But HOW AWESOME would a Britney/Brittany dance-off be? Or a Britney/Brittany/Santana remake of "3"? OMG. THANK YOU, Ryan Murphy! THANK YOU, universe! (Pink Is The New Blog)

Britney Spears graces the cover of the August 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Dressed in a black zip-up bustier and low-rise jeans, which reveal a tattooed midriff that does not at all look like it played home to two children, Britney's Cosmo cover hearkens back to her "Oops... I Did It Again" cover and her "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" look (watch the video below if you forgot what she wore). In Cosmo, Britney opened up about her relationship with Jason Trawick and admitted that, like most parents, she's dreading The Sex Talk with her sons.
We think Britney looks fabulous on the cover of Cosmo, but The Daily Mail's playing Photoshop police, questioning whether Britney's been airbrushed. (Can't we just Leave Britney Alone?)
+ What do you think about Britney's Cosmo cover?

I feel pretty bad for Ciara, Rihanna, and Beyonce right now. I thought Ciara and Justin Timberlake in Ciara's "Love, Sex, Magic" video was hotter than hell. Then Rihanna was tipped the sexy scale in that little black naughty number in Kanye's "Paranoid" video. When Beyonce busted out her "Sweet Dreams" video, I was like, okay, we're done. We're done here. What's gonna get hotter than Beyonce jiggling in a jumpsuit? But Shakira, you did dat with the Brigitte Bardot hair and the... the no clothes basically in your new "She Wolf" video.
Honestly, I have NO clue what wolves in the closet means (lost in translation?), and Shakira still sorta sounds like she swallowed Kermit The Frog after he swallowed a bag of Auto-Tune chips.
But the Jake Nava-directed video (he directed Britney's "If U Seek Amy" and Beyonce's "Single Ladies" videos) is so hot that the next lady who wants to make a sexy video is pretty gonna have to take off her pants and just film her crotch the entire time. Oh wait...
Watch Shakira's "She Wolf," shower, repeat.

The unstoppable, unsinkable, unflappable Katy Perry just released her latest video, "Waking Up In Vegas," which details the story of a wild, sleepless night in the city that really REALLY never sleeps.
So wake up, ante up, and find out five things very important things you need to know about Katy Perry's latest video.
1.) "Waking Up In Vegas" was directed by accomplished director Joseph Kahn, who's pretty much Britney Spears' go-to video guy. Joseph Kahn directed Britney's "Womanizer" video, as well as "Stronger," and "Toxic." He directed Eminem's "Without Me" video, which won him a Grammy in 2002 as well as a 2002 VMA, and he directed Eminem's "We Made You" video.
2.) You're probably like "I know that guy in the video, but I don't know his name! Who IS that guy?" The guy in Katy Perry's "Waking Up In Vegas" video is an actor named Joel David Moore, and aside from roles on Six Feet Under, House, and Bones, Joel David Moore's also been in Dodgeball and will star in the upcoming movie, Avatar. He's also been in about a zillion commercials (basically, he's "that guy"), including that singing "Do It eBay" commercial.
3.) "Waking Up In Vegas" was filmed at The Palms Resort. Other videos filmed there include (ahem), Gym Class Heroes' "Clothes Off" video, as well as Eminem's "We Made You." Teairra Mari and Flo Rida just filmed "Cause A Scene" at the Palms, The Real World: Las Vegas was filmed there all the way back in 2002, and the Palms was also the location of the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, which is where Britney Spears, well, you probably know how that went.
4.) The two guys Katy kicks out of her hotel room are Vegas magicians/ comedy staples Penn and Teller -- Penn's the tall one, and Teller's the one who rarely speaks. They also appeared in Run D.M.C.'s "It's Tricky" video back in the day. You've also probably heard Penn without realizing it -- he does lots of voiceover work for Comedy Central. There's also a poker pro in the video -- the guy Katy beats is real-life poker champ Daniel Negreanu.
5.) In the video, Katy wears real vintage costumes from Bob Mackie's personal collection. For the glam-oblivious, Bob Mackie is the esteemed fashion designer behind some of the most sequined, spangled, bejeweled, bedangled and outrageous costumes in the history of fashion. Remember the black feathered headdress Cher wore to the 1986 Oscars? That's Bob Mackie. (And if you still need them, check out more examples of glamourness -- ex-glam-ples?)
+ Now, watch the video. And remember: Always bet on black. (Or is it red?)

With everyone all is-he-or-isn't-he-ing over American Idol finalist Adam Lambert's sexuality, we here at the MTV Buzzworthy Blog are firmly entrenched in Team Glambert and could care less if he's gay or not as long as he keeps keeping his glam gun set to stun.
But friends, Adam Lambert wasn't the first man in music to get glittery and glossy, wield an eyeliner pencil, nor keep his skin positively pristine.
And so, to celebrate Adam Lambert, the most glam man (or woman!) on TV, let's take a look at some of the glammest guys in music history!
From Prince to Perez, from the Backstreet Boys to the most glam Jonas Brother of them all, see who else made the list!

Boy George: The godfather of early '80s glam, Boy George and the Culture Club -- their 1982 single, "Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me?," off the album Kissing To Be Clever, went to #1 in a dozen countries -- were never afraid to play with musical genres, gender, or with makeup, obviously. Unfortunately, Boy George tumbled for drugs and false imprisonment of a male escort and is currently in prison. Whoops! Video: Culture Club | "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?"

Marilyn: One of Boy George's contemporaries, British pop star Marilyn, born Peter Robinson, also saw brief gender-bending fame in the '80s. Marilyn was featured on the 1984 all-star Band Aid jammy-jam "Do They Know It's Christmas?," had a massive falling out with Boy George, and claims that he had an intense affair with Gavin Rossdale back in the day. Gavin denies his involvement with Marilyn, but one thing that's undeniable was that Marilyn was the master of the perfectly arched brow -- the killer app in any glam guy's tool kit.

Backstreet Boys: The liberal use of lip gloss, eyeliner and, hair products that the Backstreet Boys featured in their 2005 video, "Just Want You to Know," was strictly due to the fact that they were portraying fictitious '80s hair band, Sphynkter... or was it? And I defy you to find something NOT glam about zebra car seat covers. Video: Backstreet Boys | "I Just Want You To Know"

Freddie Mercury: No one pushed the glam envelope (glamvelope?) harder or farther than the late, great Freddie Mercury. Known as one of the most commanding, theatrical, and flamboyant performers of all time, even David Bowie considers him one of the edgiest performers ever. Equally at home in a tight t-shirt and jeans or a skin-tight court jester's catsuit and a crushed velvet cape, Freddie Mercury popularized the cop 'stache and ambiguous sexuality while unintentionally paving the way for Lady Gaga to appropriate her namesake from Queen's 1984 hit, "Radio Gaga." Video: Queen | "Radio Gaga"

Bill Kaulitz: Please. As IF we would leave Bill Kaulitz off a list of glam guys. The trademark hair and makeup alone are award-worthy, as is the fact that his life is one big series of angular, intense, and amazing poses. Also, Bill deserved his own giant tongue just for the makeup he wore to the MTV Tr3s Los 2008 Premios Awards. Video: Tokio Hotel | "Monsoon" Live on TRL

Perez Hilton: Though he's worn a most un-glam tenty Sherlock Holmes cape... thing... and a Hello Kitty shower cap... and shorts that looked a lot like lederhosen, the self-proclaimed Queen of All Media earned back tons of glam points when he wore an ARETHA HAT, designed by Mr. Song Millinery, to his South By Southwest party in March 2009.

Kanye West: Aside from hanging out with a guy who wears an Aretha Hat and spending an inordinate amount of time fantasizing about models, when he's not ruining awards shows or claiming he's not gay, Kanye West spends an inordinate amount of time discussing fashion, attending fashion shows, and basically giving himself over to fashion. And being very very fashionable. He also changed his name to Martin Louis The King, Jr. and was recently named hip-hop's best-dressed man.

George Michael: Shown here catching a nebulous orb of glam, George Michael's been and stayed glam throughout the years. Whether prancing about in nut-huggers and a pro-life t-shirt and doing the jitterbug (see: the entire "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" video) during his Wham! days, or being all James Dean-y as Faith-era George Michael, George wrote the prescription for the perfect rugged-glum look: well man-icured facial hair, sculpted brows, sunglasses, and earrings. And speaking of prescriptions, George Michael's affinity for drugs and public toilets led to some majorly un-glam photo opps. Whoops! But, hiring Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, and Naomi Campbell for his 1990 video, "Freedom '90," was one of the glammest moments in guy-glam history. VMA party weekend officially kicked started Friday night with Jermaine Dupri's party at the Avalon in Hollywood. JD -- ever the consummate mogul and multitasker -- celebrated the launch of Tag Records, and, of course, the VMAs.
With D-Nice spinning -- "Put On," by Young Jeezy and Kanye West, T-Pain and Lil' Wayne's "Can't Believe It," and Game and 50 Cent's "This is How We Do," all were huge for the dance floor -- D stood at the booth hyping up the party. Nice played the remix to Dru Hill's "Sleeping in My Bed," while Dupri shouted, "Brat I love you!"
"Yes Janet Jackson is here," JD told some ladies on the dance floor. "Y'all can stop asking me now."
Back in the crowd, you could spot Paul Wall mingling while the likes of Jazze Pha and Polow Da Don chilled in the V.I.P. section.
Later, Tag Records lead artist Q performed, as did Fabolous. Loso hit the crowd with "Breathe" and "You Make Me Better."
+ Watch Jermaine dispense some VMA advice for Britney's big appearance, (which is barely 24 hours from now!)

Back at yesterday's VMA Media Forum, Paris Hilton -- who's got a new show coming up on MTV, and it's about bein' besties -- was making the rounds while everyone was trying to act like they weren’t trying to gawk at her when really everyone was gawking at her but trying to act like they weren’t. As she was getting her make-up touched up behind a curtain (kind of Wizard of Oz-ish), I got a few minutes to ask her about fashion hotness and stuff. (And because everyone keeps asking me -- she was very tall, seemed very adept at posing and walking, had special-looking fluffy hair, and smelled good, though not as good as Farnsworth smelled when I walked by him on Tuesday. Also, her BlackBerry was appropriately bejeweled in a billion little Swarovski crystals.)
First off, I wanted to know who Paris thought was gonna look hottest on the VMA red carpet. Paris' three-word answer? "Britney and Rihanna."
Next, I wanted to know what kind of red carpet look Paris herself has planned for that night. A more thorough, introspective answer this time: “I don’t know yet! I haven’t even picked my dress out yet. I’m so behind. It’s MTV, so you can wear anything. It’s like the fun awards show where you can get away with totally like going over the top. So, expect to see something… maybe something very sparkly.” (Obviously.)
As I rushed back to Blog Central Station, I overheard Paris tell her manager, “That reminds me. I need to call Dolce & Gabbana.” She probably literally meant Dolce and Gabbana, as in the dudes themselves.
And that reminds me… I need to try to wash the Sharpie stain out of my Xhileration t-shirt from Target. Crap.
Check out five years of Paris Hilton's VMA looks -- from her 2004 VMA freaky feather dress to 2006's biker prom get-up, 2007's cheetah-girl ensemble, and whatever was going on there in 2002.
