Katy Perry rode a shoe, wore a dress that may or may not have been attacked by giant mice (or moths), and a bustier that looked see-through. And it's not even midnight. Check out all of 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards host Katy Perry's outrageously awesome outfits from the show, from her gorgeous floral red carpet gown by Marchesa, to her West Ham onesie, her nearly naked flesh-toned bustier, her cabaret costume and more examples of Katy Perry in tulle go so wrong it's so right.

The Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards are a celebration of those who raise awareness of the accessories industry. You know who raises awareness of the accessories industry? Lady Gaga. That's who. Which is why Gaga received a Stylemaker award at last night's awards.
Gaga's basically a walking accessory display, when you think about it. It's just what she chooses to call an accessory -- blood? -- that makes people do double and triple-takes.
Check out Gaga's juxtaposition of wig and lace veil (as well has her patented underwear-as-outerwear move -- those undies are Marc Jacobs, bty the way) in these photos from the ACE Awards. The girl can't help it.

Pop legend Cyndi Lauper and instant icon Lady Gaga were named the newest faces of MAC's AIDS Fund. The "From Our Lips," which launches February 25, will feature two lipsticks -- MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick, both of will be available on March 18 in North America and globally by the end of March. Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper's MAC Viva Glam lipsticks are $14 each, and 100 percent of the will be donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.
Watch Lady Gaga's now-classic performance of "Paparazzi" from the 2009 VMAs, and watch Cyndi Lauper's landmark MTV video, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." And don't miss the exclusive premiere of Beyonce and Lady Gaga's "Video Phone" video on MTV and and MTV.com on Thursday, November 5 at 5:30 pm ET.

You were probably too busy gaping at the legion of Lady Gaga lookalikes -- including bloody VMA Gaga! to notice, but here's what Alexa Chung wore on today's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung.

Monday, November 2
+ Top: 3.1 Phillip Lim
+ Skirt: Veda
+ Shoes: Chanel

If your look's more Alexa than Gaga, check out this gorgeous 3.1 Phillip Lim scarf-tie-front blouse with delicate embellishment. I'm pretty sure this is how you spell de-lovely. It's $274 at Yoox.com.

Bold, bright makeup looks -- like Lady Gaga's baby pink lipstick, the spring green eyeshadow Adam Lambert rocks on the cover of his For Your Entertainment album cover or the statement-making dramatic deep-dark makeup choices Rihanna makes -- are a fun way to play with color, especially as winter rolls in. But neon looks aren't always easy to achieve. So I called on Doe Deere (that's her above), who's a model, musician, and owner of makeup line Lime Crime.
Doe Deere's constructed an entire modern-day Rainbow Brite universe of unicorns, cupcakes, candy, and cats (not to mention science!) So she's just the perfect person to show you how to properly apply crazy-bright, highly pigmented fluorescent lipsticks and shadows to get the perfect Gaga/ Lambert/ Rihanna/ pick your popstar look.

In this MTV News interview with Demi Lovato, Demi recounts the moment in history when the now-solo but not-broken-up Nick Jonas first told her that his rhymes were so fly and his jeans were so tight and that he wanted her to sing the hook on the Jonas Brothers' rap parody "Bounce." (Not to be confused with The Cab's "Bounce.")
But there's something far more urgent that needs to be discussed here: it looks like Demi's copped the super deluxe version of The Fame: Monster! No, Demi is not rocking one of Lady Gaga's blond locks (yet), but Lovato is GOING HARD in one of those sparkling hoodie things (a staple of Gaga's look). And Demi went ultra metallic at the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and at the UK premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie. And this past week, Demi Lovato showed up to Disney's 2nd Annual Concert For Hope in a gold-and-black metallic top that hearkened back to Lady Gaga's VMA red carpet dress. (Minus the neck brace.)

The Demi interview took place on the set of her "Remember December" video. I'll be rather curious to see if that clip features any walker and crutches-aided choreography.
Halloween is DAYS away! Time to GET ON YOUR COSTUME GRIND if you haven't yet. Too lazy to make your own Lady Gaga costume? Is Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment album cover proving too difficult to reproduce on a small budget? Well I don't know if you've noticed, but vampires are huge! They're the new Internet! New Moon is almost here (even though you've seen almost every clip of the movie)! Everybody's losing their collective brains over The Vampire Diaries! So a vampire-inspired Halloween is the W2G.

Wildfox's "My boyfriend is a vampire" t-shirt ($64, Singer22.com) already comes with some blood marks, in case you're too squeamish to get the job done for real. It also says "I'm Savin' It For Edward Cullen," but in a more discreet way. Just press on some "Vampire Red" nails by Kiss ($3.99, kissusa.com, drugstores), and get to that candy binge. Or just watch this Backstreet Boys vampire video. Happy Halloween!

I don't necessarily want one of the Snoop Dogg dessert pizzas or whatever he made on today's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung, but I very much do want a studded plaid jumper.
Here's what Alexa wore on today's episode.
Wednesday, October 28
+ Dress: Wren
+ Shoes: A.P.C.
+ Over-the-knee socks: American Apparel

Today's red plaid dress theme is high/low. High: American Retro's checked-and-studded plaid dress. It's $253 at Shopbop.com. More basic, less bucks: Forever 21's red plaid dress. $26.90. Bam.
And check out Alexa Chung modelling for Wren.

From the annals of absurdity in consumerism, let us know turn our attention to the forthcoming super deluxe edition of Lady Gaga's The Fame: Monster.
What's super about it? Well, there are eight new jams included, including the new single, "Bad Romance." That would go under the definition of super, I suppose. But what's deluxe?
Oh Gaga -- who just tapped Semi Precious Weapons to open for her Monster Ball Tour, handed Adam Lambert a song for his new album, For Your Entertainment, and who'll appear on an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl -- Gaga's got deluxe. Included in the $100 package is a book (of Gaga), a Gaga paper doll, some photos, 3D glasses, and a lock of Lady Gaga's hair. Hmm. I will be super-deluxe interested to know how that works out. Gaga's got a lot of fans who are probably willing to shell out $100 for her hair. (Though it is cheaper than jewelry made out of hair.) If there are enough Gaga fans out there unscathed by the credit crunch, Lady could find herself going all Cassie/ Britney soon. The Fame: Monster drops November 23rd.
