I'm sure that when the infinitely cool Cee Lo Green was composing "F*** You" with Bruno Mars, neither party ever thought their song would be covered by a bunch of dancing chickens, Kermit The Frog, Felix The Grouch or my personal role model, Ms. Piggy! (Actually maybe they would have since Cee Lo performed with The Muppets at last year's Grammys.)

"Forget You" has been forever immortalized by The Muppets, which is basically all the career validation a pop star could ever need. Slated to appear on the forthcoming The Muppets Soundtrack out Nov. 21, we can't exactly comment on the amazing vocals in this cover version since there basically are none -- the entire song consists of chickens clucking the melody to Cee Lo's jam. A tad annoying? Yes, but on the bright side, these birds are totally on pitch.

On a borderline inappropriate note, we kinda wish The Muppets had recorded the explicit version of this song. NOTHING would be funnier than watching Muppets say "f***" repeatedly. You all know it's true.

Did you miss Lady Gaga's latest "thing"? No, she didn't make a dress out of live babies. (Yet...) But she did transform herself into a guy -- like, very, very convincingly and artfully -- for the cover of her "You & I" single. What being a guy has to do with schlepping all the way from New York to Nebraska on foot, I do not personally know, but I'm open to learning about new ways of doing things. And I'm also pretty sure that's not actually Lady Gaga in drag. It's her alter ego, Jo Calderone, who's an auto mechanic from Italy. And on this week's episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz" -- MTV's new weekly pop music show --  James Montgomery and I discuss this gender-bending transmogrification and debate the merits and relative hotness of a male Gaga versus Jo Calderone versus our own personal tastes and desires. And somehow John Travolta got involved. And James confirmed that the members of Evanescence are, in fact, the nicest people on the planet and that if their music is not featured in "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" then there probably will be blood. You NEED to watch!

And remember Steve URKEL! WHO could forget America's most beloved and endearingly adorkable next-door neighbor of the 1990s? Well he popped up in Cee Lo's new video, "Cry Baby," and you best believe we chatted about that. And then we discovered that Urkel's got a long-lost identical twin. And you'll never guess who it is.

+ Watch Episode 3 of "Bigger Than The Buzz"! And check out episode 2 -- featuring a cat with a job -- and episode 1, where we kill owling dead. And if you can handle it, check out the "Bigger Than The Buzz" pilot if you think you can handle Trishii.

As if I needed yet another reason to be obsessed with Cee Lo. In the new video for his song "Cry Baby," the "F--- You" singer is actually nowhere to be found. He has instead chosen to use an alternate protagonist to star in his video: one of my fondest childhood memories, STEVE URKEL AS HIS ALTER EGO STEFAN URQUELLE!!! (Actually, it's actor Jaleel White, but who's counting?)

For those of you not familiar with the Steve Urkel vs. Stefan Urquelle situation (Wait, did you seriously not watch "Family Matters"???), here's a quick lesson: Stefan Urquelle is the genetically-altered, cooler version of the super nerdy Steve Urkel. It was probably one of the greatest makeover montages of the '90s!

Anyway, in the '50s-inspired video, a super fresh Stefan (Jaleel) breaks up with a teary-eyed girl and dances around in the street (flash mob-style!) with a bunch of his friends to celebrate. While Cee Lo may have been getting royally effed over in the "F--- You" video, in "Cry Baby" he's the heartbreaker: "When some time goes by/I'm sure that you'll feel better/But if she needs to cry/Then maybe I should let her/Cry, cry baby/I guess that I'm the bad guy now." You cold, Cee Lo.

The fact that the song is super catchy and cheeky is only just a plus, because as far as we're concerned, any video that stars Steve Urkel or Stefan Urquelle deserves to be watched. Over and over again. (Come back to us, "Family Matters.")

The 20th anniversary of Lollapalooza is now unfortunately in the rearview mirror. Eminem played to a crowd of 60,000, Coldplay performed "MX" and "Hurts Like Heaven," and Foo Fighters closed out Lollapalooza with their own rainstorm. Meanwhile, many more musicians packed Chicago's Grant Park to far more than capacity this past weekend. Although I personally couldn't attend due to prior engagements, here's a quick wrap-up of some notable acts as reviewed by some of our favorite music sites. Take a look through the reviews and see what you missed at Lollapalooza in case you, too, were already booked.

+ "Cee Lo is known for his crazy but creative stage costumes, and his performance at Lollapalooza was no different. Despite the rock star attire, he gave a soulful performance of his hit "Forget You" as well as other songs from his Gnarls Barkley days." — FreddyO.com

+ "Girl Talk was as energetic as ever in the tent, and Greg Gillis probably lost about 5 pounds running around the stage to amp up the crowd. He played all of the usual mixes featuring hits like Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" and Phoenix's "1901," along with new subtle additions." — Brooklyn Vegan

+ "Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino, while being forced back to the middle of the stage to avoid being soaked herself, remarked that one day she'll tell her grandkids about the time she sang songs about the sun while it rained at Lollapalooza." — Hey Reverb

+ "And, boy oh boy, did Los Angeles band Fitz & the Tantrums own that main stage with all its heart. The hour-long set became one of the most powerful performances of the day... With no guitars in the band, multi-instrumentalist James King is its backbone on flute and saxophone. Think swinging couples dressed to kill and old soul sounds from Motown." — China Shop Mag

Were you guys at Lollapalooza this year? Who were your favorite performers, and what was this year's craziest moment? Let us know in the comments below!

The 2011 MTV VMA nominees have been announced, and Katy Perry might want to start drafting a VMA acceptance speech, because she's nominated for an extraordinary NINE VMAs, including Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects for "E.T." featuring Kanye West, and Video Of The Year and Best Female Video for "Firework," as well as Best Cinematography for "Teenage Dream." No big deal or anything.

But Katy Perry's not the only star who could be walking out with more than a couple Moonmen on VMA night. Adele earned seven VMA nominations for her smash hit song "Rolling In The Deep." Adele's VMA nominations include Video Of The Year, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing.

+ Justin Bieber's producer would like him to channel NKOTB, New Edition and Kelly Rowland. As the unofficial boy band beat journalist, we are INTO these ideas, but not sure how they'll be implemented short of cloning or sex changes. Perhaps he's already begun to NKOTB-ify by rocking an acid-wash '80s denim vest. (MTV News)

+ "Gossip Girl" actor Penn Badgley has been cast in a role that many young actors were vying for -- he will play late musician Jeff Buckley in an upcoming biopic. Buckley's only been referred to as one of our generation's greatest songwriters so you know, no pressure, Penn. (PopEater)

+ Is there new music from Selena in the future? Sounds like it, and we don't mean Selena Gomez either. Late Mexican-American pop singer Selena's father told the L.A. Times that fans can be on the lookout for unreleased masters from Selena's early years coming to stores in 2012. (ONTD)

The "See No More" singer says he feels confident on his own because, "My brothers and I, we’re like each other's best friends and I think it's that foundation that makes me feel like I can really do this on my own..." All together now: "Awwww!" (Just Jared Jr.)

Who knew Cee Lo was such an animal lover?

The rapper/soul singer teamed up with Swedish pop group Teddybears and New Wave legends The B-52s for "Cho Cha," a Space Age, lounge-pop ode to, um, cats (!??!) that has already won the Double Entendre Lyrics of the Year Award.

Anchored by a driving, propulsive beat, a background chorus of "meows" and sparse, yet irresistible, xylophones, this one's a definite Song of the Summer contender. While Teddybears get the lead credit, it's Cee Lo, the living embodiment of your favorite childhood stuffed animal, that'll make this one a hit in the vein of last summer's "F*** You." "I know I'm hard to deal with," Cee Lo sings. "But you're always open to my suggestions... Cho Cha, I love you." The B-52s' Fred Schneider provides the vocal counterbalance, singing in his inimitable lilt, "Soft and sweet and warm and fuzzy/You drive me crazy/I love you baby." See? It's a sweet love song.

A slightly different version of "Cho Cha" originally appeared on Cee Lo's 2010 mixtape, Stray Bullets, under the name "Cho Cha the Cat," but will appear on Teddybears' sixth studio album, Devil's Music, to be released in the U.S. June 21.

We know you're already planning on watching Cee Lo Green's "Storytellers" on VH1 (or VH1.com) tonight at 11 p.m. ET, right? RIGHT? Good. Because you gave us the right answer, we've decided to dispense some musical foreplay before the big night.

First up is "Bright Lights Bigger City," taken from the rapper/singer's third album The Lady Killer. Clad in a spectacularly bedazzled T-shirt and matching sunglasses, Cee Lo offers up a slightly rockier take on the soulful funk track. After that, check out the singer's take on Bill Withers' oft-covered 1977 sunshine soul classic "Lovely Day."

If these clips don't entice you to watch the whole show, we can't help you.
