Etta James' recent passing has lead to some of music's leading powerhouse voices covering the blues. First, Kelly Clarkson paid an AH-MAZING tribute with her rendition of "I'd Rather Go Blind." And this weekend, Christina Aguilera delivered with her version of "At Last" during Etta's funeral.
The clip begins with Christina offering a heartfelt confession about the impact Etta left on Aguilera's own musical career. Then, the Grammy winner closes her eyes and begins belting out the opening notes to one of the most stunning renditions of "At Last" we've ever heard. She channels her inner Etta and embraces a raspy, raw expression, closely resembling the intensity of the original. Christina reminds us that she can still hit and hold any note she damn well pleases and does it so flawlessly that she brings the entire audience to their feet.
We've definitely never been to a funeral where people openly cheer and offer a standing O -- then again, we've never attended a funeral where Christina Aguilera was performing. We think Christina did the classic song justice, and we think Etta herself would agree with us.

If Christina Aguilera opted for a whole new career path as a self-help guru who divulges secrets on how she scored the trifecta of happiness -- gorgeousness, talent and cool-parent status -- we'd sign up for that ish as fast as you can say "Peace out, Dr. Phil." (Come on, guys, don't act like you've never taken some life lessons from that man.)
But the "Fighter" singer, "The Voice" judge (CANNOT WAIT until Feb. 5, BTW!) and cover model for Marie Claire's February issue admits inside the magazine that her successes in life didn't always come easy. Aside from looking FRESH-TAH-DEATH, Christina gets real about raising her son, Max, as a single parent. She even offers an inspirational perspective on being criticized about her looks: She doesn't give an eff. "I've been through my highs, I've been through my lows; I've been through the gamut of all things in this business. Being too thin. Being bigger. I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It's noise I block out automatically. I love my body. My boyfriend loooves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that's all that matters to me."
Stay pressed, haters: Christina's beautiful no matter what you say.

Christina Aguilera's career may be far from the good old "Mickey Mouse Club" days, but that doesn't mean she can't kick it with one of her former bosses -- Minnie Mouse! You never want to burn any bridges in Hollywood -- it's a small world after all.
The "Not Myself Tonight" singer and the infamous lady mouse were snapped looking holiday-happy while working together on a Disney special that's due out this Christmas season. Christina looked extra chic in her black-and-white ensemble and glamorous gold locks while letting her ex-boss rock the flashy red dress. We especially love that gigantic smile on Christina. It totally screams, "This pic is a framer! I'm putting it next to my Grammys!" Everyone knows that reunion photos with with Disney characters are just as priceless as coveted trophies.
Speaking of reunions, maybe the duo were chatting up the ultimate holiday gift to the world: A "Mickey Mouse Club" reunion?! Can we all just take a moment to imagine the adorbz mice clan back together again: Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling and Christina! #ChristmasMiraclesWeHopeFor
