If you're an R&B singer dropping a single, you can do a lot worse than having Fabolous provide a guest rap verse. From classics like Lil' Mo's "Superwoman" to recent smashes like Trey Songz' "Say Aah," Fab is adept at giving sleek soul tracks a hip-hop edge.

Case in point, Kevin Cossom's "Baby I Like It," which goes from zero to 60 in a matter of bars, thanks in no small part to Fabolous' brief cameo. Taking things to the next level is Diddy, who jumps in to mention the "exotic chick playing Sade" on his piano.

For Cossom's part, the track is Auto-Tuned beyond belief, almost psychedelically so. Things get heavy when the beat drops in the chorus. This is definitely a track prepped and primed for the club.

The video, directed by Collin Tilley, is pretty straightforward, with the artists flossing in Technicolor and some special effects tossed in for good measure. Check out Kevin Cossom's "Baby I Like It," featuring Fabolous and Diddy, below.

A couple of days after Christmas, I was home, staring at leftovers when I decided, as I am wont to do, to check Twitter. And much to my utter joy, my favorite MC, Fabolous, was live-tweeting an episode of the true crime/entrapment show, "To Catch A Predator." Which was great news.

As you may know, Fabolous is an accomplished tweeter, capable of starting a trending topic at the drop of a dime (most of which are not appropriate to reprint in a family publication such as this). He's also an avid culture vulture, often commenting on movies and shows he happens to be watching.

The thing about Fabolous' "To Catch A Predator" tweets are how much joy he gets from watching, well, predators get caught by the show's host, Chris Hansen. Like, nothing in the world gives Fabolous as much joy as seeing Chris Hansen walk in on a very, very bad man and tell him that he and his sins have just been broadcast on television.

Here are some of his finest TCAP tweets:

+ "MSNBC's "To Catch A Predator" is 1 of the funniest shows on TV.. & its not a COMEDY"

+ "I don't know how Chris Hansen does this show wit a straight face... I would bust out laughing every time I walk in & c the guy"

+ "The funny s--- is Chris Hansen got the white man voice that people do when the imitating a white man.. Lmfao."

+ "Chris Hansen said "There ain't no 40 yr olds to party wit, in the whole state of Ohio?" #ImDead"

When you're Nicki Minaj and you have a new album to promote and countless Barbies to please, holidays don't mean a whole lot. Above we see Nicki letting the cat out the bag at New York radio station Hot97's Christmas concert. It was the second straight working holiday for the "Right Thru Me" rapper. Minaj also performed at a radio concert in New York City on Thanksgiving night. This girl probably worked the winter solstice!

The last time Nicki played NYC, back at Thanksgiving, she was giving thanks to fans and friends alike for her debut album, Pink Friday, which had been released earlier that week. During that gig she was joined by Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West, all of whom came out to support.

This time around, with only Lloyd Banks and Fabolous in tow, Nicki largely went it alone. Rocking quite the leopard-print cat lady costume, Minaj gave Big Apple fans a Christmas present to remember, with the highlight apparently coming with her performance of the edgy Pink Friday track, "Roman's Revenge."

What do you think of Nicki's spots? Let us know in the comments!

We usually associate Ne-Yo with sleek dance-y R&B tracks like "Closer" that are equally elegant and dance-y. But for the second single off of his upcoming album, Libra Scale, Ne-Yo shuffles the deck, presenting a sensual grind of a track, "Crazy Love."

With its deep bass, drum groove and lazy pace, "Crazy Love" is somewhat reminiscent of early Maxwell, with Ne-Yo singing about a love that resembles a "hurricane." Rapper Fabolous adds some humor to the proceedings, referencing the late Gary Coleman's "What you talkin' 'bout" face, but generally, things are kept rather grown and sexy.

It'll be interesting to see how "Crazy Love" fits into the Libra Scale's narrative. Ne-Yo has talked about the album following three characters as they deal with issues of love, money and morality. Deep!

Libra Scale is out in October.

As a gift to his hometown of Toronto and as something of a celebration for the recently attained platinum status of his debut album, Thank Me Later, Drake invited some friends north of the border this weekend for a big ol' party, hosting the OVO Festival in T-Dot this weekend.

Not content with headlining his own summer tour, Drake broke off from the road to curate and top-line this incredible sounding event. Featuring scheduled appearances from the likes of Francis And The Lights and Bun B and surprise performances from Eminem (seen rocking the stage with Drizzy, above), Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Trey Songz and more.

The show was held at Molson Amphitheatre. For all the behind-the-scenes details, check out Jayson Rodriguez's live blog over at MTV News.

There are two kinds of DJ Khaled videos. Actually there's only one kind: the awesome kind. But under that awesome umbrella are two settings: Michael Bay-style action movie, complete with helicopters and car chases and kidnappings (think "Out Here Grindin' " or "We Takin' Over"), or green screen flossing demonstrations, where rappers unleash copious amounts of swag upon us, the willing and loving viewers.

Khaled's "All I Do Is Win (Remix)" video falls under the latter category.

First things first: DJ Khaled has done so much winning that he's become a traded commodity on the New York Stock Exchange. Either that or he spent a pretty penny on a LED screen that flashes his name and its stock price, but has no baring whatsoever on the world's economy.

Second of all, we're really feeling the sheer variety of jackets being rocked in this clip, from Khaled's varsity style to Rick Ross' satin "West Side Story" Windbreaker, to Diddy's rose-colored fitted thing with the white ribbing. If variety is the spice of life, these guys are Sriracha sauce.

Third of all, and just to wrap up because I have to go start my thesis paper on this video to be published next Nevuary, WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH BUSTA RHYMES' STOICISM.

Every one else is totally living it up and throwing money and being animated. But Busta is acting like he's watching "The Hurt Locker" for the first time! Check him out at 1:17! It's true!

This video contains multitudes. I implore you to discover all of them.

After watching Trey Songz's brand-new "MTV Unplugged" performance, you'll probably agree that the R&B singer is no flash in the pan. He didn't climb his way up the fame ladder without help. Throughout his career, Songz has excelled at the art of collaboration, mixing his distinctive charms and skills with other artists.

Check out the 5 best Trey Songz collaborations:

1.) "Successful" featuring Drake
Songz has been a staple on Drake's lauded mixtapes, and "Successful" is the duo's signature tune.

2.) "Say Aah" featuring Fabolous
Fab's verse on this single from Trey's "Ready" album takes this party-starting anthem to ecstatic heights.

3.) "Yesterday" featuring Toni Braxton
Trey joins the R&B diva on this sultry break-up song.

4.) "LOL :) " featuring Gucci Mane
The Atlanta rapper joins Trey in this celebration about the joys of text.

5.) "Gotta Make It," featuring Twista
A vintage look from Trey. On "Gotta Make It" (from his 2005 album of the same name), Trey battles with the rapid fire raps of Twista.

As much as I would LOVE to be the proud owner of a Proenza Schouler PS1 bag in a gorgeous springy teal, I'm blogging on more of a Billabong budget than a Barneys bank account. Still, spring is here, and it's time to dump that stuffy, gloomy gray/midnight blue/black bag you've been toting around all winter (as well as its contents) and spring forward into some cute handbags that don't complement your Uggs. (Wait ... you're not still wearing Uggs, are you?)

Check out six spring handbags — in fun florals, pretty prints, strong shapes and big, bold colors — for under $50 each!

+ Actor Corey Haim, star of iconic '80s teen flicks such as Lost Boys and Lucas, was found dead this morning of an apparent overdose. Haim had battled substance abuse problems for some time. He was 38. (EW)

+ We've been monitoring Joe Jonas' acting career for a minute. We raised our eyebrows when we heard he was going to appear on Brothers And Sisters, and we applauded when he played a sore-loser tennis player in Vampire Weekend's "Giving Up The Gun." But we feel like the role of Captain America might be one he's better off not getting. Why? Because his brother Kevin is also, reportedly, up for the role. That could make for some awkward tour bus chats, no? Lucky for them, it appears The Office's John Krasinski is in pole position to play the comic book icon. (Limelife)

+ Justin Bieber is many things: troubadour, poet, lover, dare-taker. But perhaps more than all those things, he is a sneaker junkie. Check out a wide-ranging, colorful gallery of Bieber in various kicks. (Idolator)

+ Last night, Brooklyn saw a celebration of the life and music of the Notorious B.I.G., when Diddy, Rick Ross and Fabolous helped Biggie's DJ, Mister Cee, pay tribute to the late BK legend. The crowd rapped along to classics like "Dead Wrong," Ross did his verse from Diddy-Dirty Money's "Angels," Fab incited chants of "Brooooklyn" and, from the stage, Diddy yelled, "We wanna thank you, Brooklyn, because Brooklyn made the greatest rapper of all time." (MTV News)

+ Lily Allen's retirement from the studio and stage may be imminent, but her love of attention shows no signs of dissipating any time soon. The Brit singer, who has often complained about the invasive and hurtful nature of U.K. gossip culture, has decided to become the subject of an upcoming reality show, with an eye toward "promoting her new ventures." Welcome to the "Say Aah" video (directed by Yolande Geralds), wherein Trey Songz, the inventor of sex, kicks convos to girls who dance like "video vixens" in an effort to get 'em back to his condo. Everyone drinks like it's their birthday, with mirth and merriment had by all.

This song, taken from Songz's Ready, is playing constantly out of car windows in New York City. Its over-abundance of hooks ("we don't buyyyy no drinks at the bar" being a personal favorite) makes it pretty hard to dislike. And the verse from Brooklyn's Fabolous will bring in even the most hardened of fun-haters.

Gotta say, for as ballerific as the song (it's practically an indecent behavior anthem), the video keeps it pretty grown in sexy. I lost count of the amount of button down shirts at, like, a dozen.

Best part about it is probably Fab's appearance, both because his verse has a very plain-spoken feel to it, and because his blue-framed shades are matching his shirt. Maybe Justin Bieber should hire him as a swagger coach.
