You know what they say: Once a g(l)eek, always a g(l)eek. The ever-handsome Darren Criss sported some mad geeky specs earlier today as he was seen departing the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, UK, while en route to tonight's sold-out "Glee" tour performance. We're assuming that the four-eyed "Glee" cutie, known best for his riveting rendition of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" (a song he performs solo, as well as with his buddies the Warblers), usually wears contacts while filming.

Though the glasses may add a hint of dweeb chic to his normally hip look, from the neck down Darren appears his usual fly self while sporting some dark fitted jeans paired with a suave hoodie/leather jacket combo. Well-played, Mr. Criss.

To be honest, though, we're digging the thin rimmed lenses on him, especially in this world that's overflowing with nerd glasses. Plus, we always kinda knew that underneath that handsome, dapper exterior was a former math team captain -- we'll square your root if you square ours.

You've seen her play an adorably ditzy high school cheerleader on TV, but "Glee"'s Heather Morris is looking substantially more grown up on the cover of Women's Health's June 2011 issue (on newsstands May 24) in a teeny pink bikini, a radiant smile and a denim jacket (you know, to keep her from getting cold). It's not hard to see why they chose Heather for the cover: Girlfriend is looking good, in a lean, athletic, "I do a hundred squats a day" type of way. Indeed, she extols the virtues of just that activity in her accompanying interview when asked how she stays in such good shape:

"The secret behind my fabulous legs? Eat a lot of goldfish!... Do whatever you like to do, eat how you want to eat but just make sure you stay [active]. I take a lot of exercise cardio classes; I do tons of squats."

(I'm assuming she means "goldfish" as in the delicious snack crackers, and not as in the cute aquatic animal. Now terrified people are going to eat them in a misguided attempt to tone their legs.)

All joking aside, in a magazine full of trim bodies, which, when viewed the wrong way, could easily morph into "thinspiration" in the eyes of someone lacking in self confidence, I, for one, appreciate Heather telling readers to eat reasonably and do whatever type of exercise works for them. We might not all end up looking like her if we follow these directions, but we'll certainly be in good cardiovascular shape, and isn't that what a magazine with "health" in the name is supposed to be about?
