Here are 10 Internet music, movie and pop culture MUSTS you need to read/see/watch this week!
1.) We finally know why Taylor Momsen seems so mad all the time--The Pretty Reckless singer starred in a wholesome Shake 'N Bake commercial as a 3-year-old back in 1997! Nothing says "misery" and "heartache" like chicken legs coated in a seasoned bread crumb mixture. (Buzzfeed)
2.) Consider the olive branch extended, y'all. George W. Bush and Kanye West hugged and made up after that whole awkward racism thing. OK, not really, but they did on "Saturday Night Live," and Jay Pharoah as Kanye killed it. (HuffPo)
3.) Speaking of presidents, Bill Clinton (remember him?) will make a cameo in the sure-to-be-inappropriate sequel to "The Hangover," "Hangover 2." He'll be starring as himself. Once the leader of the free world, now cracking genitalia jokes with Zach Galifianakis. Fair trade. (People)
4.) I see London, I see France, I see...Ke$ha's ninth-grade yearbook picture! And before we go throwing stones, let us not forget about the tragedies that are many of our own ninth-grade yearbook pictures. (But seriously, no sports team T-shirts on picture day.) (BuzzFeed)
5.) In "Things That Make You Feel Like A Lazy Bum" news, Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn reveals that he's currently recording a new album entirely on his iPad. And you thought you were breaking ground by mastering the art of the mass text message. (Spinner)
6.) It's a big week for Gleeks--actress-turned-country music singer Gwyneth Paltrow makes her "Glee" debut this Tuesday. She'll be playing substitute teacher Holly Holiday and singing Cee-Lo's safe-for-primetime-television version of his song "F*** You," (retitled "Forget You"). Oh, how I wish the FCC would let the f-bomb slide, just this once. (EW)
7.) Free music alert! Indie DJ Girl Talk's new album All Day is available in full to download free of charge. I repeat, zero dollars and free cents. Hope your dancing pants are clean. (TDW)
8.) In what's sure to be one of many "leaked" songs off of his upcoming posthumous album, Michael, Michael Jackson's duet with Akon titled "Hold My Hand" recently hit the internet. Sounds a lot more Akon than it does MJ. (NY Mag)
9.) Congratulations, Jessica Simpson! The "My Only Wish" singer got engaged to football player Eric Johnson just days after her ex-husband and "Newlyweds" costar Nick Lachey popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo. Let the bride wars begin! (MTV)
10.) In eerie foreshadowing-of-the-day, Will Smith does like his daughter Willow Smith thanks to the powers of YouTube and whips his hair back and forth during a scene from his Fresh Prince days. The whipping and music match up perfectly. Weeeeird. (BuzzFeed)

"In this corner, hailing from the land of 'Bad Romance,' the one and only Lady Gaga! And in this corner, the original 'California Gurl,' whipped cream darling Katy Perry! DING DING DING!"
Lady Gaga and Katy Perry will duke it out this Sunday, Nov. 7, at the 2010 MTV EMA, hosted by Eva Longoria in Madrid's Caja Magica, with Gabe Saporta on the red carpet. Each of the pop princesses is nominated for five awards in the categories of Best Pop, Best Song, Best Female and Best Video. Eminem trails closely behind the ladies with four MTV EMA nods of his own: Best Hip Hop, Best Song, Best Video and Best Male.
Also up for Best Male are Usher, and, you may have heard of him, a guy by the name of Justin Bieber. Fans will have to pick between the mentor and his protégé. Tough decision!
Another tough decision will be for joint fans of both 30 Seconds To Mars and Tokio Hotel, as the two groups are both nominated for Best World Stage Performance, alongside Katy Perry, Green Day, Muse and Gorillaz.
Other battles to note: Rihanna's "Rude Boy" up against herself in Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" for Best Song and the iconic Ozzy Osbourne holds his own against the likes of younger guys like Kings of Leon in the category of Best Rock. And those are only a few of the epic EMA battles!
+ See the full list of 2010 MTV EMA nominees and vote for your favorites! Voting is open until tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 4, at 6/5c. Tune in this Sunday, Nov. 7, and 9/8c on MTV2 to see who'll win an MTV EMA!

+ Talk about beautiful, dark, twisted fantasies. To kick off the MTV EMA, fake Lady Gaga battled fake Katy Perry in an old-fashioned Spanish tomato fight in London, paying homage to this year's host city, Madrid. (MTV UK)
+ Speaking of dark, twisted fantasies, Kanye West will bring the music of his new album (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) to this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. (PopWatch)
+ Justin Bieber will give his own account of his experiences being bullied on today's episode of the "Ellen DeGeneres Show." (MTV News)
+ As if Blur and Gorillaz weren't enough, Damon Albarn is now forming a band with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea. (Spin)
+ A must-read take on The-Dream and Kim Kardashian collaboration that wonders whether a musical of Kimmy's life can be made out of existing The-Dream songs. (Sound Of The City)

It's time once again for my round-up of 10 things you need to know this week that will, I hope, will help soothe your Halloween candy-induced hangover.
1.) Urlesque shows us how Lady Gaga COULD be costing us 13.3 trillion dollars.
2.) It's election time, and while it's really important that you get out there and vote, it's actually more important that you watch my favorite quasi-patriotic video, Liam Lynch's "United States of Whatever."
3.) Katy Perry and Russell Brand received a bull, as in a boy cow, as a wedding gift. That's what you get for not registering at Bed Bath & Beyond like everyone else. (NY Daily News)
4.) Shy Ronnie, the gun-shy alter ego of Andy Samberg, returned with an epic Bonnie and Clyde-style SNL digital short with musical guest Rihanna this week. You should know about it. (Hulu)
5.) The tracklist for Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj's debut LP, hit the Internuts this weekend and includes collaborations with basically everyone ever: Eminem, Kanye West, Will.i.am, Rihanna and Drake. See the full thing here. (Rolling Stone)
6.) This baby Hasselhoff has chest hair...and, I'm guessing, hits the bottle too much, too. ZING! (Buzzfeed)
7.) I watched the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear from my couch this weekend, and it looked amazing BUT COLD! Good thing The Roots' Black Thought kicked off the festivities wearing a seriously AMAZING jacket. (MTV News)
8.) Snoop Dogg: rapper, actor, Sookie Stackhouse lover and now numerological vampire Muppet.
9.) This painting of a mosh pit looks so real you're not going to actually believe that it's a painting of a mosh pit. (Animal)
10.) Do you like Gorillaz? I do. Some people think they're cartoons, but they're not really cartoons, just people (such as Damon Albarn, once of Blur) who hide behind cartoons. Anyway, they did an amazing 45-minute concert--not as cartoons--for "The Late Show" and you can watch it here. (CBS)

+ Sorry, Robert Pattinson. Miley Cyrus is just not that into you. (E! Online)
+ Speaking of Robert Pattinson, "Eclipse" premiered last night! Here's everything that happened! (Hollywood Crush)
+ Who dropped trou at the "Eclipse" premiere? Kellan Lutz! That's who! (USA Today)
+ Today, of course, sadly marks the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. He left behind devout fans around the world and a host of unfinished projects. (MTV News)
+ Michael Jackson's musical contributions are endless, but you may have forgotten about these 10 Michael Jackson songs. (Idolator)
+ Avril can't decide between snowboards or motorcycles. (Is this the new vampires vs. werewolves conundrum?) (I'm Not Obsessed)
+ Gorillaz talk Glastonbury and Bono's sunglasses. (The Guardian)
+ Writing for Christina Aguilera-inspired M.I.A.'s "Born Free." (MTV UK)
+ You can sleep easier tonight knowing that Rihanna upgraded to the new iPhone. (Neon Limelight)
+ Amy Winehouse is in love again. And this time she's playing for keeps. (Showbizspy)
+ What do Britney Spears and Obama have in common? Hint: It's got 140 characters and a whale. (SocialBeat)
+ Nicki Minaj dressed NORMALLY on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." There's something depressing about that. (Bark Bite Blog)

If you weren't at your computer on Friday, April 30, you missed the live stream of the Gorillaz performing at London's Roundhouse. We wish we could show the whole gig, which was great.
Their performance featured tracks from the new album Plastic Beach with special guests Mos Def, De La Soul, Bobby Womack, Snoop Dogg and more. Plus The Clash's Mick Jones and Paul Simonon were a part of the backing band.
Since we can't bring you that gig, we'll give you a taste with videos of a recent performance by Gorillaz on the British show "Later ... with Jools Holland." Here are videos of "Stylo" and "White Flag." Be ready to be grooved by Damon, Mos Def and many more.
In case you're wondering what's been up with Gorillaz of late, a lot has changed for the virtual supergroup since their album Demon Days. There's been much madness, mayhem, kidnappings and explosions. Evil Svengali Murdoc Niccals has taken over the fantastical floating island of garbage known as Plastic Beach.
With airborne pirates hot on his heels and moaning whales surrounding Plastic Beach, Murdoc Niccals clearly has just one choice: Plan a massive party, and let the new Gorillaz album loose upon London and the world. All you have to do is watch the cyborgian experience unfurl.
Just to give you an idea of how great the Roundhouse show was, here are photos from Gorillaz's Roundhouse show on Thursday, April 29. (And yes, that's Snoop and De La Soul.)

+ Plus: Watch Gorillaz's "Stylo" video.

+ The "Glee" kids sang Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful," among other tunes, on last night's episode. In unrelated Xtina news, the "Not Myself Tonight" singer got a pretty chic new haircut (see above). (Idolator)
+ Courtney Love told Howard Stern that she had a relationship with Gavin Rossdale while the Bush rocker was seeing Gwen Stefani. OH, DAMN! (PopEater)
+ Taylor Swift is ready for her close-up. The "Love Story" singer is starring in a new commercial for a Sony digital camera. (Just Jared)
+ Gorillaz will be touring the United States this year, minus their cartoon hologram facade. (MTV News)
+ Awesome if it's true: Kristen Stewart is rumored to have been cast in an upcoming Bollywood movie. (LimeLife)
The brand-new video for "Stylo," the latest clip from animated supergroup Gorillaz — the brainchild of Blur frontman Damon Albarn and Tank Girl co-creator Jamie Hewlett — is something visually different from these cartoon hip-hop-popsters.
Most Gorillaz vids take place in a wondrous animated world, but the clip for "Stylo," the first single from the group's new album, Plastic Beach, is a beautiful mixture of live action and animation. As the animated Gorillaz members break the speed limit in their muscle-car called, easily enough, Stylo, they are pursued by a highway-patrol car and then by Bruce Willis. Wait. ... What?
Sounds like we'll have to add this to our recent list of celeb-filled videos.
As Bruce chases the Gorillaz, we're treated to muffled rapping from Mos Def, passionate singing from soul-legend Bobby Womack and great desert scenery.
Check out the video below. Plastic Beach is out next week.
