What's good, girl? Yeah. You. Come closer. Diggy Simmons with an assist by Jeremih is gonna make it all better.

The 16-year-old son of Run-D.M.C's Reverend Run recently premiered "Do It Like You," the latest track from his upcoming debut album, and it's aimed directly at the ladies. "Wanna be there when you wake/With no makeup on your face," rhymes Simmons before asking to "grant your wishes" and knowing -- just knowing -- he's "gonna make me better." With R&B "Birthday Sex" singer Jeremih crooning the hook, the upbeat, bouncy "Do It Like You" is the aural equivalent of your mom saying, "He's such a nice boy."

Diggy recently revealed his "7 Rules of Swag" to MTV Clutch, which include the sartorial koans "Style comes from within," "Comfort is key" and "Ballin' on a budget is breeze." After "Do It Like You," we expect similar articles like "7 Ways to Treat Your Girl Right" and "7 Romantic Haikus You Can Write to Your Girl Right Now!" You're welcome, Cosmo.

Today's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung featured a little something for everyone -- book suggestions, Tyrese and his man muscles, Transformers helmets, cake smashing, and a live rendition of "Birthday Sex." If you weren't entertained, then you just don't know good TV. Anyway, here's what Alexa wore today!

Wednesday, July 1
+ Dress: A.P.C.
+ Shoes: Frye.
+ Knee-highs: Hue.
+ Beaded necklace: Her own.

So, look what's on sale... a gorgeous navy A.P.C. (one of Alexa's favorite brands) mohair dress. It's not super summery, but it's winter somewhere, right? Buy it and keep it for later, because it's on sale for $190 at apc.fr.

... Or check out this more summery navy button-down dress by model Erin Wasson's RVCA line. It's $105 at Opening Ceremony -- one of Alexa's favorite shops.

Finally, Alexa wore her own beaded necklace, but check eBay's selection of Native American beaded medallion necklaces.

L.A. underage duo Ben J and Dominic Thomas (AKA Legacy) go by New Boyz, and they don't even have an LP out yet, but they've already caught the ear of the LA Times, the New York Times, and the outlet that really matters most out of the three, at least musically -- YouTube, where their single, "You're A Jerk" has already been viewed over 1 million times. "You're A Jerk," LA Boyz's satisfyingly simplistic insta-hit may not be Shakespeare, but then again, Marcel Duchamp signed a freaking toilet in 1917, and people still pay money to see that sh+t.

"You're A Jerk," the next single off the New Boyz's Skinny Jeans and a Mic EP, is a sure-fire summer hit, and while it lacks the in-your-pants promise of "Birthday Sex," it's got more staying power thanks to old-school Neptunes-esque stripped-back/ drip-drop production, smooth vocals, and the L.A. unit's signature second-wave post-modern B-Boy flavor. (Again -- Skinny jeans.)

Watch New Boyz' pay tribute to the Jerk in their "Jerk It Out" video, and don't even try to resist the urge to jerk. Unless you're strictly on that BBU juke tip.

We finally got Jeremih to sit down and tell us how we're supposed to pronounce his name. Turns out the "Birthday Sex" singer's name kinda rhymes with "verify" or "carrot-pie." Jer-Am-I. Remember it.

But, the real purpose of Jeremih's visit was to let us in on a few of his obsessions -- things that don't turn up in your everyday interview -- on "The 5." We already knew this dude was a major overachiever. Remember, he graduated high school at 16? What we didn't know is that he's got a deep sneaker fetish that is rivaled only by his love of car audio.

What else is there to know? Get the scoop on Jeremih, directly from the bold up-and-comer's mouth, only on "The 5!"

You say you want passion? I think you found it.

Mmm, that's right. Remember what Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake did for Valentine's and Mother's Day? Remember what The Onion's Smoove B did for journalism? Well young rhymer Jeremih is about to do the same nasty thing, all up in yo birthday plans.

But hold up. Before you let this Chicago-born urban-pop pimp steam up your balloons, it's probably a good idea to get to know him a little bit. It's a responsible choice -- something Jeremih is real familiar with making. See, before he was perving out your special day, Jeremih was racing through high school -- graduating at 16 -- so that he could enroll in engineering school. But, successful as he was, the man had to sing, so he switched over to music business and started making tracks in his free time.

On his debut single, "Birthday Sex" (which makes Day26's "Imma Put It On Her" sound downright vanilla), Jeremih details an unforgettably raunchy present (for a girl with "kisses sweet as Hershey's"), leaving only one question to be answered: "Just tell me how you want your gift, girl." Somewhere, R.Kelly is proud.
