OK, gang. Let's get a couple of things straight. Let the record show that we here at Buzzworthy were WAY OUT IN FRONT on this whole "John Mayer Looks Like Johnny Depp" thing. You hear us, Kanye West? Just because you tweet it, doesn't mean we didn't plant our flag on this one first.

Here we have Depp, I mean, Mayer, at LAX. Now, we always like to look at pics of celebs in airports. And we must say, John Mayer is looking rather "Jack Sparrow For J. Crew S/S '11" in this shot. You know when he looks even more like Johnny Depp?

That's right. Nothing brings out the Scissorhands in Mayer like being forced to nearly disrobe for airport security. Seriously, that is uncanny!

One of the best things about watching the Grammy Awards was the virtual peanut gallery of voices created by Twitter, with your entire feed gushing about Lady Gaga, crying for Justin Bieber, tipping their hat (or throwing it on the ground) to Arcade Fire and, all at once, asking, "Who is Esperanza Spalding!?"

But the Grammy Award for Best Live Tweeting of the Grammys definitely should have gone to a man who was conspicuously absent from last night's proceedings: Kanye West. Bundled up somewhere with a remote control and mad zings, Kanye expressed a wide array of emotions, as well as a couple of totally hilarious observations, throughout the evening. Let's take a look at five of his best tweeted bon mots.

1.) Upon Train winning for Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group: "I didn't know Howie Mandel was a part of Train"

2.) This could only be about Justin Bieber's performance: "NINJAS...YESSSSS!!!!!!!"

3.) Respect for the aged: "Mick Jagger is crazy fresh!!! #OGSWAG"

4.) John Mayer, you got zinged: "I didn't know Johnny Depp played guitar"

5.) "Damn... I can't find the words to explain how I feel about the best new artist award... Don't wanna say the wrong thing" No, BY ALL MEANS, say the wrong thing!!!!

Or should we say... Jump Street. Hey-oh! We will, literally, be here all week. Here we have the world's greatest interview subject, John Mayer, arriving at LAX, looking very, very '90s Johnny Depp. I practically expect to see a "Heathers"-era Winona Ryder somewhere in the background.

You know who I feel bad for? The guy who sits next to John Mayer on the flight. Because, given the way he looks, you just know that Mayer's the type of dude to wait for you to look up from your copy of "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest," make eye contact with you and proceed to go on a cross-country-flight-long monologue about his journey and how powerful and mysterious and magical the universe is. Or at least that's what I'm getting from his facial hair.

Actually, given everything I've read about John Mayer, 1996 facial hair or not, he would probably be pretty good flight company. You just know that guy has some stories to tell.

Yesterday, those of us who are afraid to so much as invest in a Subway sandwich when Mercury is in retrograde were given a major WTF piece of news: The astrological sign you've been since, well, birth might not be your sign anymore. According to this astrological bombshell--which, by the way is being debunked (WHAT IN HEAVEN'S NAME ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE?)--your sign might be shifted to the star sign that precedes your regularly scheduled one. And those of you born between Nov. 29 and Dec. 17 are a new 13th zodiac sign called Ophiuchus. OphWHATus?

Well, friends, Taylor Swift falls into the... wings? arms?... of Ophiuchus. And we can't help but wonder if the reason she's been having such unfortunate boy luck is because there's no OPHIUCHUS section on Astrologyzone.com. How ELSE is she supposed to know which dates are deemed especially romantical for her SIGN if her sign DOESN'T EXIST? How can Tay heed the tay-lored (ha!) astrological guidance if her new star sign is made up? Jake Gyllenhaal may or may not be COMPATIBLE with an Ophiuchus. Nor John Mayer, for that matter. Do you see the predicament?

In other news, if we're now supposed to be Taurus instead of Gemini, we're not sure what the excuse is for our multiple personalities and tendency to get in trouble!

When VH1 asked me if I'd like to be one of those talking head people on their "Top 40 Music Video Countdown Of 2010," I answered their question with two of my own. The first: Does Miley Cyrus rip a mean bong? The second: What time should I be there?

In case you were on a deep-sea submarine excursion for most of the year, you might be unaware of the fact that 2010 was the year of Taylor Swift. And we're not the only ones that think so--Entertainment Weekly just named the "Back To December" singer its Entertainer Of The Year! All we have to say is about that is "Duhhh!"

Let's recap how Taylor Swift won everything in 2010:

+ At 20 years old, Taylor Swift wrote all 14 songs on her latest album, Speak Now.

+ Speak Now sold more than 1 million copies in its first week! ONE MILLION!!!!!

+ The "Innocent" singer has brass... guts. Taylor Swift put some of her notorious ex-boyfriends and wrongdoers on blast on Speak Now, most notably Kanye West and John Mayer.

+ Um, hello? A hairstyle upgrade that shook the world!

+ After all the turmoil, Taylor came out on the other side looking classy and respectable. Oh, and two words: Jake Gyllenhaal.

Despite ruling the world in 2010, Taylor Swift still seems to be really down-to-earth. After she found out about her huge first-week sales of Speak Now, Taylor said, "First I was screaming, and then I was really silent, and then I was really emotional, and then I was dancing. Taylor Swift has come far from the days of Taylor + Taylor (Lautner, obviously) and Joe Jonas. Lately, the 20-year-old country-pop phenom just LOVES to kick it with an older dude! And it's speculated that Taylor Swift's moved on from notorious serial dater/chronic TMI-er John Mayer. It's been reported that Taylor "Fearless"-ly called John Mayer out on his "dark and twisted games" on her new song, "Dear John." And to prove that John Mayer is SO earlier-this-year, Taylor Swift has been seen spending time with steamy Jake Gyllenhaal, who's 9 years older than her. If the rumors are true, we think this liaison is an upgrade worthy of a PARADE. Prince of Persia's Jake Gyllenhaal is mind-bogglingly beautiful.

Multiple sources spotted Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal out in New York City, and Taylor even brought him to the Saturday Night Live set where her bestie Emma Stone was hosting last weekend. The pair were also reportedly seen walking around Brooklyn together, and they just went apple-picking together. Maybe Taylor's over rock stars as potential suitors and has returned to Hollywood for boyfriend fodder?
