Last year, Scottish singer/producer Calvin Harris vowed to give up singing to focus on producing his own dance music and remixes for other artists. And he made good on that promise as we now have "Bounce," the second single from Harris' upcoming, as-yet-untitled third album.

On "Bounce," Harris passes off vocal duties to kaleidoscopic soul-pop queen Kelis, and we're feeling her vibe mixed with some 8-bit, Nintendo influence. We can already see European clubs playing this one endlessly. Be forewarned: This one is going to stick in your head for a while.

The accompanying video shows the immediate aftereffects of a bad breakup from the guy's point of view. There is worrying. And exercising. And fighting. And video shoot interfering. And Las Vegas Boulevard-socializing. And -ings we can't publish here. And finally, like any good dance music head, clubbing. Yeah, it's a very long day.

Harris and Kelis have collaborated before -- he remixed Kelis' spectacular "4th of July (Fireworks)" last year. And Kelis, for her part, has transformed herself from embattled, vulnerable soul singer to a favorite female vocalist for dance music producers. After guest vocalist spots on Benny Benassi's "Spaceship" and Basement Jaxx's "Stars," she recently showed up on Duran Duran's "The Man Who Stole A Leopard." It's a winning formula. Now we're just hoping for a full-length Calvin Harris/Kelis album, and we can die happy.

Breaking up is hard to do. So if you've been thinking about dropping the "it's-not-me-it's-you" line and breaking up right before or on Valentine's Day and you just don't have the stones to do it, here are a few vitriolic un-love songs that do an excellent job of saying “we’re through" -- and meaning it. They're the musical equivalent of a middle finger or a slashed tire. Just IM or text your soon-to-be-ex a link to any of these songs, or give them a call and play them over the phone (or take the classic "Say Anything" approach) and consider the fact that you a.) are now single – huzzah!, and b.) saved yourself a good $50 on flowers. Plus dinner.

1.) "O.P.P." -- Naughty By Nature: There's probably no better way to say "yes, I am interested in seeing other people's... privates..." than by this Naughty By Nature standard.
2.) "Trapped In The Closet" -- R. Kelly: So so so much going on in all 22 chapters of R. Kelly's R&B soap opera. Or, just skip to the "Oh my God a rubber" part.
3.) "There's No Home For You Here" -- (Ex!) The White Stripes: Jack White repeats the song's title at least six times in this song. Because he means.
4.) "I Hate You So Much Right Now" -- Kelis: The former Mrs. Nas doesn't mince words here. In fact, she screams "I Hate You So Much Right Now," sending a crystal-clear message.
5.) "70 Times 7" -- Brand New: The line "I hope you choke and die," while extreme and inadvisable, is succinct.
6.) "I Hope You Die" -- The Bloodhound Gang: Like Kelis and Brand New, The Bloodhound Gang's "I Hope You Die" is a very literal, extremely direct way of saying "I'm just not that into you." Especially the opening line, "You must die I alone am best!" And the fact that they say "die" about 40 trillion times.
7.) "I Hate Everything About You" -- Three Days Grace: EFF YEAH, EARLY 2000s!!!
8.) "Take a Bow" -- Madonna: Nothing says "we're through" more than a sexy bullfighter and Madonna dressed like Eva Peron. Rihanna did a good job of it in her version of "Take A Bow" with the cold lyric "You look so dumb right now."
9.) "Unhappy Birthday" -- The Smiths: "Because you're evil and you lie." And that's why.
10.) "Bloody Mother F***ing A**hole" -- Martha Wainwright: Self-explanatory.

Teenaged chanteuse Sky Ferreira has been enchanting us around here for almost a year now. With her Effy from "Skins" look, her enigmatic blankness and her assured and gorgeous songs like "One" and "17," we were already Team Sky. But after this charming Buzzworthy interview, you can count us as certified Sky Ferreira flag bearers.

Sky starts out the interview on the subject of another (onetime) teen queen, Britney Spears. Sky addresses the rumors that she and Britney were going to be collaborating. Apparently she has written for Britney Spears, but the two haven't yet gotten down to recording together. Yet.

Sky Ferreira goes on to talk about sharing a music video director with Kelis (the talented Marc Klasfeld) and her "sadistic" video for her song "Obsession." The video was partially inspired by "Reservoir Dogs," but it's really about people's obsessions with stars such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Ha! Who would ever be obsessed with those two!? (JUST KIDDING!)

It's a fun interview. Honestly, it's almost unnerving that someone so young is so articulate and bright. Maybe the kids are alright!

Watch Sky Ferreira's Buzzworthy video interview, as well as her video for "17." And stay tuned for Sky Ferreira's "Obsession" MTV.com video premiere.

For someone capable of such drastic shifts in style, both musically and fashion-wise, Kelis sure is a pretty down-to-earth gal. Just check out this Buzzworthy video interview with the mother, nuevo disco queen, and recording veteran.

Sporting a simple turtleneck and jeans ensemble -- a much more tame look than her usual Alexander McQueen/grandma/Statue of Liberty thing -- we get a very personable R&B authority.

Kelis talks about how her new album, Flesh Tone, differs from her earlier albums. She also talks about the unique experience of making the album while pregnant (she jokingly recalls that her pregnancy was sort of an argument-ender, "I'm pregnant...so everything I say is right.").

Kelis also goes into detail about the dance-friendly production on Flesh Tone, which was handled by David Guetta and Boys Noize, among others.

Check out Kelis' interview below. Flesh Tone is out now.

Look who it is on the cover of the September issue of Vanity Fair. Lady Gaga in all her distinguished gray glory. We've been keeping our eye on the burgeoning gray hair boom in pop music, charting the progress of Gaga and Kelis  in this "gray" area. But unlike her previous forays into gray, Gaga makes it work on the cover of VF.

As always, Gaga is a colorful interview subject. In the cover story, the "Bad Romance" singer goes into detail about her past drug use, her controversial, bird-flipping appearance at a New York Mets game (which drew the ire of Jerry Seinfeld) and, most compellingly, her near-constant state of loneliness.

Gaga tells Vanity Fair, "I'm perpetually lonely. I'm lonely when I'm in relationships. It's my condition as an artist." She goes on to discuss her fear that she'll lose her creativity by being intimate with her lover. And that she stores her creativity ... where else? ... but in her vagina.

The September granny-tastic issue of "Vanity Fair" hits newsstands on August 10.

We kinda miss Kelis' pink dominatrix getup -- a headdress of gold spikes? Sure! Why not? As well as her gray granny hair paired with her harlequin outfit. And her doglady look. And her '70s art-teacher jeans. But it's kinda nice to see Kelis looking pretty in a peachy-pink trompe l'oeil dress and sick gladiators at Sirius Radio yesterday in New York. But that was just her day look. At night, Kelis, who recently defended Miley Cyrus and her "Can't Be Tamed" maturity, wore a neon green satin dress at the release party for her new album, Flesh Tone. Nice, right?

Kelis has never shied away from the literal. I'm thinking, specifically, of the presence of milkshakes in her video for ... wait for it ..."Milkshake."

But if you've come to her new clip for "4th Of July" (off her new album Flesh Tone) expecting fireworks or hot dogs or kids waving tiny American flags, you will be sadly disappointed.

Which isn't to say there's not a lot to love about this desert-set dance anthem. Directed by Rankin, this clip finds the ex-Mrs. Nas in the sandy mountains and dry plains doing some interpretive dance, rocking her patented nose-to-earring-chain and generally being a diva (in the best way possible).

After our desert interlude, Kelis spins the imagery roulette wheel, landing in the club amid flashing lights, a Native American headdress (holler at Ke$ha!) and some fiery dance moves.

It's a lot to take in, but the journey is worth it for the song alone.

Flesh Tone is out July 6.

+ Miley Cyrus explains that just because she's out in the club doesn't necessarily mean that she's sippin' that bub. Or that she's on drugs. But a drink at age 21? Miley MIGHT do that. So for the record: Miley on drugs = never. Miley and conscious consumption of alcohol when she's of legal age? Maybe. (Us Weekly)

Lady Gaga wore them in her "Bad Romance" video. Kelis strolled the red carpet in them. And models refused to walk the runway in them. Sure, the late Alexander McQueen's Armadillo heels aren't as comfortable as a pair of bunny slippers. But they're clearly way more chic.

They're also crazy expensive and pretty unrealistic for the average gal on the go, unless your foot naturally curves into the shape of an upside-down letter U.

Thankfully LF and Jeffrey Campbell are offering a similar version to the monster-loving masses. The platform heel, called "Tribute," will be available in LF stores in July. Proceeds will go to charity in honor of the late McQueen.

Välkommen tillbaka, Robyn! (We just said "Welcome back, Robyn!" in her native Swedish tongue for those who didn't take Swedish in high school.)

Fans have waited six years since Robyn's last full-length album -- 2005's self-titled album featuring hits like "With Every Heartbeat" and "Konichiwa Bitches" -- but the platinum-blonde beauty is more than making up for lost time by releasing three albums this year.

At long last, we have a look at the "Dancing On My Own" video, the first single off the first album in the Body Talk three-part series. Amid a sea of strobe lights and PDA-stricken couples, Robyn seems cautiously fed up with dancing solo. Sad. We'll dance with you, lady!

If you, too, want to dance with Robyn, then be sure to check her out when she opens for Kelis this summer. Dates for the All Hearts Tour can't be announced soon enough.
