It's been a minute (a few minutes, really) since we had a Kid Sister video to enjoy. The Chicago MC broke out two years ago with the Kanye West-assisted "Pro Nails," with a video directed Zombieland auteur Rueben Fleischer.

Now, with her album Ultraviolet finally on shelves and in stores, Kid Sis is back on disc, wax, tape, and, for our purposes here, on screen.

"Right Hand Hi" is a fab piece of J.J. Fad electro-hop, with a half-dozen hooks crammed into a tight, burst of a jam. The video has some flashing lights, some flashy choreography, and a projected Kid Sister doing her thing on building walls.

The 2009 mtvU Woodie Awards are happening now in New York City -- a mash-up of music's famous faces, and on-point performances. And we're liveblogging it all on the MTV Buzzworthy blog. Stay here for the backstage, birdseye, and middle-of-it-all 2009 mtvU Woodies report. And watch the 2009 mtvU Woodies Friday, December 4, at 10 p.m. ET on mtvU, MTV, MTV2, and Palladia.

10:51pm -- We're off to the after party, see ya, it's been a blast! For more Woodies gossip, party reports and general madness check in with Buzzworthy tomorrow or check out highlights from the show on the Woodies site right now. We have tons of photos, red-carpet looks, rehearsal performances (some of which you saw here earlier today) and more. PEACE!

10:23pm -- Matt & Kim can't go anywhere without throngs of admirers following them. They're pretty much the Brangelina of the Woodies. Except they don't own several kids and possibly hate each other.

10:14pm --  is swaying along to "Treat Me Like Your Mother." Jack White looks like a cross between a pissed-off vampire and The Crow. In a way that works, though.

10:09pm -- is taking the Woodies to the church of bad news on all-white instruments. Allison Mosshart's on a square guitar, and I'm pretty sure it's got the devil inside.

10:04pm --Mary-Louise Parker drops an eff-bomb while intro-ing the Dead Weather! RAWK!!!!!!

10:02pm -- and Kim (of Matt & Kim) are exchanging phone numbers on the floor, David Cross is catching up with Matt Pinfield, and and , present, and they're each dressed totally future-forward. They're dropping Woodie of the Year.

9:51pm -- Jamie Tworkowski wins the Good Woodie for To Write Love On Her Arms, and dedicates the award to people battling depression and drug addiction.

9:43pm -- drops some knowledge on the Clipse. The vibe is straight-up old-school -- no tricks, no autotune, no stunts. Just hype hip-hop. And , bossin' behind shades, centerstage. Appropriately the crowd is dancing on barstools.

9:37pm -- The men of are launching tiny burgers into each other's mouths and ordering extra whiskey shots. A saucer-eyed, autotuned Janelle Monae intros the Clipse as the crowd yells out "You're beautiful!"

9:33pm -- Matt & Kim win Video Of The Year, and as their friends in the crowd toss their drink about 40 feet in the air, M&K bypass the stairs, crawl on top of the crowd, and rush the stage. They accept the award, thank pretty much everyone in one swoop, and Kim takes another dive off the stage.

9:27pm -- Death Cab just performed meet "Meet Me On The Equinox" to a mesmerized crowd but pretty much got the U2 reception when they did "Sound of Settling"

9:23pm -- MTV alumni Jon Norris and Matt Pinfield are catching up on the floor.

9:18pm -- David Cross has crown shoved into his pocket, and he's telling a Tom Cruise Scientology joke, for those of you who don't know what Dianetics is.

9:12pm -- Overheard, P.O.S telling someone "I just hope I looked cool," after someone congratulated him on his performance.

9:10pm -- P.O.S.just rapped over live flipcup percussion.

9:06pm -- Asher Roth gives out the Best Performing Woodie to Green Day. They're not here to accept so Asher stagedives instead.

9:04pm -- I'm down on the floor where all of the talent's seated, not at tables but at dozens of narrow glittery bars. There's a 1:2 ratio of kegs to celeb bar, and Oh The Story has their own personal shot waiter. Wisely, one member of Oh The Story cut himself off and ordered a diet coke.

9:00pm -- A production assistant carrying the next Woodie just rushed the award backstage.

8:59pm -- David Cross and the Clipse are having a heart-to-heart. Intense!

8:57pm -- Just walked by David Cross, who's dressed like he's going to a Superbowl party.

8:55pm --  gives out the Best Music On Campus Woodie -- an award she promises will lead to getting laid more -- to an ecstatic Hotel Of The Laughing Tree whose friends are freaking out on the floor behind me.

8:46pm -- Amber Tamblyn intros via Twitter. Passion Pit is clearly a crowd favorite -- we've got people on top of people's shoulders, air drumming (like the Rush scene in "I Love You, Man," but far far cooler...)

8:42pm -- 3Oh3! is presenting the Left Field Woodie... DRESSED AS LADY GAGA AT THE VMAS!!!! The red dress and the white bird's nest mask thing! Reference was made to soiled panties! :O  wins it and makes a Woodie joke and drops a KRS-One lyric!!!

8:28pm -- Never Shout Never has the shortest acceptance speech ever: "Power to the people!" Talks least, says most!

8:26pm -- Zooey Deschanel, darling as always in a darling dress, cracked a joke about not taking off her clothes as they swept up Matt & Kim's castoffs. She's presenting the Breaking Woodie Award, which goes to Never Shout Never!

8:23pm -- Pete Wentz, red solo cup in hand, is going rogue. Give that guy a mic and he'll take a mile. He just cracked a swine flu joke and dropped the "douchebag" bomb as he kicked off the 2009 Woodies!

8:21pm -- How'd do you get to college parties? BIKE there! Matt & Kim just biked here from Brooklyn straight into the lobby of the Woodies. They brought some friends who aren't just singing backup, they're stripping down to their skivvies for lessons learned. Undies party!!! Extra points to Kim -- she jumped up onto the drumkit and WALKED ON TOP of the crowd!!!!

8:15pm -- Jack White and the didn't walk the red carpet -- they basically ran it. Jack White needs a role in "Eclipse." Dude is whiter than a natural-born Cullen.

8:10pm -- Never Shout Never's Christofer Drew wins Best Dressed at the Woodies. Hands down. That Mickey Mouse sweater deserves its own award.

8:03pm -- Woah... just ran down the red carpet! No sign of ...

8:01pm -- What's a college party without flipcup! The mtvU Woodies have their very own flipcup game going on at one of the bars. , just took aim. Isn't that how you get swine flu?

6:58pm -- The red carpet is under way, and I just caught up with breaking band Sparks The Rescue, who informed me that votes aliens are the new vampires.

Kristin Cavallari, Katy Perry, and Amber Rose picked up Buzzworthy Fashion Awards for the silvery spectacles and primal get-ups they wore to the 2009 VMAs. Now see which fashion honors Buzzworthy has bestowed upon Madonna, Olivia Palermo, Hayley Williams and more celebs for their VMA style!

MOST COMMANDING: TIE! MADONNA & OLIVIA PALERMO
Some stars like Amerie and Cassie opted for full-on color on the VMA red carpet. Madonna and Olivia Palermo, who wore Susan Woo, commanded the carpet in head-to-toe black. How New York of them.
+ Watch Olivia Palermo on the VMA red carpet.
+ Watch Madonna open the VMAs with a tribute to Michael Jackson.
+ Photos: MTV Stars on the red carpet.

ALL-AROUND CUTEST: HAYLEY WILLIAMS
THANK you, Hayley Williams. See, THIS is how you dress for the VMAs. When I chatted with Hayley inside of Radio City that night, she told me that Katy Perry told her about Jeremy Scott, who designed the LP-inspired skirt she's wearing. Hayley's vintage-rock look is spot-on perfect for the VMAs. It's youthful but not ridiculous, fun and dressed up (especially with those heels and the bright pop of color from her lipstick), but it's not over-the-top. Ahhhdorbs.

HOTTEST, MOST MAD MEN-INSPIRED GUY: GABE SAPORTA
Gabe Saporta + Balenciaga = Yeah you did.
+ Watch Cobra Starship on the VMA red carpet.
+ Watch Gabe introduce Lady Gaga's performance at the VMAs.
+ Watch Gabe discuss his VMA Mad Men style.

COOLEST THING COVERING SOMEONE'S BOOB: PINK
The sparkly pink heart covering Pink's boob during her death-defying performance of "Sober" was just one of the coolest elements of her jaw-dropping performance. I don't know what that heart thing was, but I kind of want one to stick on my laptop.
+ Watch Pink perform "Sober" at the VMAs.
+ Watch Pink on the VMA red carpet.

MOST REFLECTIVE/ SELF-REFLEXIVE: TIE! ADRIENNE BAILON & BEYONCE
Get it? GET IT? Because Adrienne, in a Stephen Sprouse dress, used to be in the Cheetah Girls, and Beyonce's wearing mirrors!
+ Watch Beyonce's "Single Ladies" VMA performance.
+ Watch Beyonce on the VMA red carpet.
+ Watch Adrienne Bailon interview everyone on the red carpet at the VMAs!

MOST THOUGHTFUL TRIBUTE TO FALLEN HOMIES: TIE! KID SISTER & DJ PREMIER
Buzzworthy idol Kid Sister took her red carpet fashion opportunity to pay tribute to the late Aaliyah, wearing in a shirt she bought on Aaliyah.com. Later that night at Lyor Cohen's VMA after party, DJ Premier (pictured with DJ Cassidy) remembered DJ AM by wearing a t-shirt with a photo of them together.
+ Watch Kid Sister discuss her amazing nails on the VMA red carpet.

MOST CASUAL FRIDAY ON SUNDAY: TIE! BRENT BOLTHOUSE & ANDY SAMBERG
Lazy Sunday? More like casual Friday. Brent Bolthouse kept it biznass casual like a BAWSE in Vans on the VMA red carpet, and Andy Samberg was his usually perfectly-bedheaded-and-a-little-unkempt-but not-in-a-way-that-he-smells-and-I-wish-all-guys-dressed-like-this self. I digress.

MOST LIKELY TO BE SEEN SPREAD OUT ON TOP OF A CAR ON HER MYSPACE: AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL'S JADE COLE
I mean, I'm just sayin'...

+ YOU GUYS! Kim Kardashian got bitten by the Twilight bug and she's TOTALLY A VAMPIRE NOW! Specifically her makeup artist Troy Jensen gave her a Prada-meets-Pattinson Twilight-inspired makeover. It's like it's last year all over again. NO ONE tell Kim that Bella turns into a vampire in Breaking Dawn. Don't wanna spoil the surprise! (Kimkardashian.Celebuzz.com)

+ Also in line to become a vampire: Miley Cyrus, who will star in Disney's adaptation of the supernatural series Wings. But you probably already knew that. And you probably already read it. (Variety)

+ FI.NA.LL.Y. Buzzworthy's favorite sibling, Kid Sister, will release her debut album, Ultraviolet, on October 6. OF THIS YEAR, PLEEZE, GURL? (Rap-Up)

+ Warner Music no likey Keyboard Cat! WTS? (Wired)

+ Cool stuff you can buy from blink-182! For under $30! (Buzzworthy)

+ Kanye and Gaga probably aren't married. Which his good because I just don't know WHERE I'd find them that combination life-sized human legs coffee table espresso maker on their registry. (MTV News)

+ Speaking of Kanye, Jay-Z confessed that Kanye inspired "D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-tune)." I KNEW IT! (Billboard)

Back in Febrero we semi-hipped you to a special Kid Sister project where she was teaming up with Reebok and Foot Locker to sell their shoes, along with an exclusive Jungle Brothers cover. Apparently she's one of several artists (Kidz In The Hall, B.o.B., etc) who will be putting new spins on favorite old jams in honor of Reebok's sweet new sneaks.

Well, Kid Sister savants, your wait is almost over. I just got an email that includes a commercial with a sneak peek of her Chi-town take on the JBs' "I'll House You," as well as some live footage of that photo shoot I creeped around with my camera this winter. Revisit my photos and sneaky interview here, and be the first to see that Kid Sister Reebok spot, after the jump!

Keri Hilson carries around enough nail polish to make Kid Sister jealous and half a counter's worth of MAC makeup, all of which she keeps in an airplane-friendly plastic bag, thank you very much. See what else the singer-songwriter-turned hip-hop/R&B balladeer has spirited away in her handbag in another edition of "Buzzworthy Style Files." Plus, watch Keri Hilson's videos here, and see what's in Lily Allen's bag.

How long have we been waiting on Kid Sister to drop that debut LP?? Mmm... feels like just about forever and a day. A month and a half ago she told Pitchfork, "I work at a really comfortable pace. It'll be done in the next couple of months." She told us the same thing yesterday (and a year ago), but we're not mad at all. Dream Date will come, and it will own our lives, and it will have been worth the wait. I know because I heard the latest cut yesterday, and DAYUMN, Kid Sis. How much nasty does one album really need??

Let's step back a minute now. I stumbled on a private photo shoot for the Reebok Classic Remix collection, starring Ms. Melisa Young, aka Kid Sister, herself. When she wasn't on stage twerkin' those knees for the cameras, it was a mellow time consisting mostly of make-up application and casual celebrity gossip (Onlooker: "I don't trust celebrities with three names." Kid Sister: "Sarah Michelle Gellar... she looks weird."), with Kid Sister's eight-pound Shetland furball Betsy scampering between our feet.

Buzzworthy: Dream Date... What's taking so long?
Kid Sister: Right now we're adding some songs and taking some other songs off. There were just a couple things on it that irked me. That I didn't feel all that comfortable with. So I was just like lemme take this back a minute because if i can't sleep at night... you know. You only get one first album. So we got some new songs and some new producers. Swedish House Mafia, A-Trak, Flosstradamus. And they are so nasty with it! You ain't ready, America, YOU AIN'T REH-DAY!

BW: Is there any end to that self-editing process?
KS: You know Matthew Santos? He's doing an album right now. Matt's very much like, 'Let's change this, let's change that.' Your perception [of what's good] changes everyday and, in a way, I guess you could never be done. But I'm ready to be done (laughs).

BW: How long have you been working on Dream Date now?
KS: It's been about a year. But before a year ago I wasn't even really sure that I was a real artist. I didn't think of what I was doing as an album. It was just silly drunken dirty party stuff. I worked three jobs. How do you call yourself a musician when you work at Bath & Body Works? It's just something you do at a party to have fun. But getting signed felt like it legitimized... well, let's just say that they PAIIIIID me, baby!

BW: What was the first thing you bought?
KS: A van! It's a baby mama van, and it's real old, but I like it a lot.

BW: You ever go back into Bath & Body Works?
KS: Yeah I go back in there like (singing) "I used to work here, nah nah nah nah nah nah." Naw. Really I'm like, "can I get a discount?" I'm a cheap-ass.

Yo, 1983! Welcome back! Again! We've been busting out our moustache combs and scratching at our leg warmers all day over here, listening to this airy New Order-meets-Hall & Oates jam, "Big Bills." The instant new-wave-yacht-rock classic is the latest from underground Chicago DJ duo Flosstradamus, with enchanting girly vocals courtesy of fellow '80s revivalist, Caroline Polachek of Chairlift (who you may remember from the dreamiest iPod commercial ever). And if Flosstradamus sounds familiar, it's probably because half of the DJ team, Josh 'J2K' Young, is Kid Sister's big brother!

Finally, maybe it's just the video's Lost In Translation-esque muted colors, breathy vocals and sleepy blur, but is anybody else picking up on a major Sofia Coppola vibe here? Not only is this new Flosstradamus clip overloaded with that moody Virgin Suicides ennui, but Caroline Polachek (good thing someone found a use for her!) is also a dead-ringer for the it-girl director. Doncha think?! Yeah you do.

+ Despite super scary, panic-attack-causing rumors that Kevin's peacing (WHAT? WHY? HOW?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!), the boys have issued a statement saying KJ ain't going nowhere. Hear that? Deep breaths, people -- it's going to be okay. (MTV News)

+ A-Rod says he and Madonna are just friends. Special friends, who, like, hang out and go to Brazil and may or may not be moving in together! You know! No big deal! (D-Listed)

+ The reviews are in, and it's official: Beyonce is lookin' (Sasha) fierce in her new movie, Cadillac Records. (MTV News)

+ Katy Perry admits she's not just a one-time girl kisser! "[I've done it] many times, in several different situations,” Perry sez. "I love a beautiful woman, I’m not afraid to say it.”  (Page Six Magazine, via Scandalist)

+ First, Buzzworthy BFF Kid Sister changed the name of her new album, Dream Date, (apparently Koko B. Ware didn't fly with the WWE), and now she's changing the LP's release date. Because apparently the first date wasn't quite dreamy enough. (Rap-Up)

+ Fall Out Boy is playing in NYC next Tuesday (December 16th) and 125 lucky someone-or-others will score free tix, courtesy of Nokia. You're welcome! (Newsday)

+ Anyone else think Aubrey O'Day's doggy is screaming for a makeover? (Remote Control)

Look at you, just sittin' there, wishing with your wishes and wants, making your Kwannakamus list, wishin' for a pretty pony, and the new Britney album, and the new Lily Allen album (it's not ready already!), and "Wii Music," and a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

Well add Trovata's "Lovers Love Life" t-shirt to your list. It's just $29.99 (you're welcome, Mom), and all of the proceeds go to the Staying Alive Foundation, which funds global HIV/AIDS awareness, education and prevention campaigns.

Don't you just love how the mod lettering says "I'm stylish" while subtly encouraging the use of a connie? 'Tis the always season to get tested, after all!

Pick up a limited-edition tee at Urban Outfitters or the MTV Shop, and check out Buzzworthy crush Kid Sister, with Trovata creative director John Whitledge at a launch event for the collabo.
