Try not to look at Nick Lachey's and Kelly Ripa's Halloween costume as insensitive, guys! How were they supposed to know that after 72 days of marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were going to call it quits TODAY? ON HALLOWEEN? We all know how much planning goes in to a solid costume -- it wouldn't be fair to chuck all that hard work for some lame drugstore getup on the big day! Just think of the co-hosts of "Live With Regis and Kelly" as paying homage to the couple's long-lasting beautiful commitment. Yeah... that's it.

Kelly and Nick nailed the celebrity couple's wedding day look with replicas of the wedding dress and tux. Nick even took it to the next level (literally) with some height-altering stilts. We're not sure what's scarier, though: how much the TV hosts look like the former couple or the fact that Kim's single again. And we're saying it's scary that Kim is single because hello, there's a whole world of other women out there trying to get married. Throw 'em a bone, jeez.

Wouldn't it be like, the craziest thing if Demi Lovato discovered she was a long-lost sister of the Kardashian clan?! The hints are kind of obvs: She's a natural brunette, she's drop-dead gorgeous, and girl can work fashion like the rest of them. (Plus Kim's got a musical side, remember?) Thankfully mother nature isn't that cruel and knows that too much hotness in one family tree would cause the world to implode on itself. It's some biology or chemistry or thing we made up to feel better about ourselves.

Kim Kardashian tweeted a recent pic with the "Who's That Boy" singer along with Kim's sisters Khloe and Kourtney. The foursome were snapped at the end of a taping for an upcoming "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" the group helped out on. And in an almost eerie way, Demi actually blends in flawlessly with the the sisters. With the matching hair color alone, homegirl could play some serious pranks on the older relatives at Kardashian family reunions: "Who am I? Oh, Great Grandpa Kardashian, you're such a jokester! I'm Kemi, the youngest sis! By the way, I never got my last birthday present from you."

When this photo hit the Internet via Theamericanpsycho's Tumblr, I wasn't exactly phased by it. "Oh," I thought, "A photo of Kanye West looking at an autographed photo of himself that he addressed to... himself? Excuse me while I try to find the strength to be surprised." But it turns out Kanye has a sense of humor! Who knew!

This photo is actually a still from Kanye West's never-released puppet sketch show (yes, puppet sketch show) "Alligator Boots" created for Comedy Central, and in this scene, Kanye was poking fun at his egomaniac reputation. Behind-the-scenes footage of the show leaked online last week but has since been taken down. Some of the highlights included Kanye wearing a Cosby sweater, talking puppets making jokes and a bikini-clad Kim Kardashian doing her best Princess Leia impression. In other words, this was EGOT material, guys.

While it's too bad that "Alligator Boots" never came to fruition, at least we have this ridiculously ridiculous picture to always remember Kanye West's little puppet sketch show that could have been. Also, you're welcome for your new desktop background. And your new tattoo.

+ Ke$ha has designed a Casio Baby G watch line! Yesterday she talked about the collab and much more, for instance what inspires her look: "Today I wanted to look like a superhero...with a really accurate sense of time." (ONTD)

+ Wait, did someone say Kanye West, Rhymefest, Kim Kardashian and a puppet made a TV pilot together? Who didn't green light this? Luckily, the failed "Alligator Show"'s director made a video of clips. Warning: the puppet gets naughty. (Pitchfork)

+ OK, how many (fill-in-the-blank)-ing memes are gonna make the rounds this year? Apparently fridging's hot (or cool) after Nicki Minaj was snapped inside a refrigerator for Glamour. Das Racist's Heems and Snooki have followed suit. (Rolling Stone)

While Kim Kardashian's "Jam (Turn It Up)" video preview isn't 100 percent NSFW, it's basically about 99 percent NSFW. So if your boss is a stickler, you'd better save this one until you get home.

The 55-second preview is basically what you might expect: Kim Kardashian laying, rolling and crawling around to the beat of her song while covered in glistening sweat and/or oil. And judging by the number of gratuitous derriere shots in the Hype Williams-directed video, we have a hunch that Kim's stepdad, Bruce Jenner, and brother, Rob Kardashian, probably won't EVER want to see "Jam."

If Kim's sweaty wonderland isn't enough to entice you, then how about the fact that the song was originally created for a good cause? The reality star turned singer recently announced that all proceeds generated from "Jam" will be donated to a cancer charity in honor of Kim's late father. Greased-up body shots combined with a song to benefit a charity? Only you, Kim Kardashian.

Sure, VH1's "Do Something Awards" are all about celebrating community involvement and giving back and all that fancy jazz. And the awards brought together all kinds of people from different walks of life in the spirit of doing good. But there were also some pretty hilarious photos from the night, and we wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't share them with you.

Above, we see Justin Bieber and Will Ferrell engaged in some kind of conversation. Everything looks pretty normal until you notice that Justin Bieber is... ahem, grabbing his crotch. He's all, "Yo Will, I'mma let you finish, but can you tell me where the bathroom is?"

Check out some of our favorite photos from VH1's "Do Something Awards" below. And be sure you scroll to the bottom of the post. There's a special prize awaiting you (that may or may not be a photo of David Beckham in a suit). Enjoy!

Four-time VMA nominee Bruno Mars is set to take the stage at the 2011 MTV VMAs, where he'll perform live! Nominated for Video Of The Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video and Best Choreography, the "Grenade" singer joins fellow performers Adele, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Young The Giant on an all-star roster. Four nominations and a performance? Sounds like it'll be a pretty good night to be Bruno Mars.

Also announced today is a who's who list of VMA presenters, including Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Jonah Hill, Rick Ross, Odd Future, and Seth Rogen. Kind of sounds like my "People who would be at my ultimate dinner party" answer, and I'm probably not alone there. Fingers crossed for an Odd Future/Selena Gomez run-in backstage. Behind-the-scenes video would be greatly appreciated here, guys.

Watch the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards live from Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV and MTV.com. Vote for your favorite VMA nominees before voting closes on Aug. 16. Cast your votes for Best New Artist up until the show airs on Aug. 28!

1.) We already knew Ryan Gosling was aware of the "Hey Girl" meme he stars in, and now MTV's own Josh Horowitz has coaxed him into reading some examples of it out loud. Despite seeming super embarrassed, Ryan was a good sport. Swoon! (MTV)

2.) In a bittersweet victory for book lovers everywhere, sales of Harper Lee's classic To Kill A Mockingbird have soared since Posh and Becks named their child Harper Seven Beckham. All praise pop culture. (Lainey Gossip)

5.) Madonna and her daughter Lourdes are expanding their Material Girl collection to include a line of teen-geared beauty products. The scents will have funky names like "Wicked Watermelon" and "Sinful Sugar." Sounds like Lola's teen mind at work to me! (Stylelist)

6.) The ever-kooky James Franco has taken to Kickstarter to solicit funding for a Museum of Non-Visible (i.e. basically nonexistent) Art. He has already sold a conceptual piece called "fresh air" for $10,000. Suddenly I feel like I'm getting a pretty good deal on breathing. (ArtInfo)

Kim Kardashian is Cosmopolitan magazine's August cover girl, and from our observations, we can see that the word "sex" or "sexy" is only printed on the issue three times! What happened, Cosmo? We thought there was a minimum of at least 10 "sexys" required per cover. I guess Kim K. herself must make up for the missing seven -- we'll let it slide this time.

All joking aside, though, leave it to Kim Kardashian to make an oversize pink hoodie look smokin'. We can't think of anyone else who would be able to pull that off. Wait, scratch that -- David Beckham did it once. But he's like, a cyborg from planet Perfect Ten so that doesn't count. Kim is seriously the only human that can pull off the "pink hoodie as a tube dress" thing. So once again Kim, you win.

Speaking of winning, remember when Kim dropped that single, "Jam"? And remember how it was kind of...the jam? We know you're getting married to like, the tallest man on Earth or whoever, but what ever happened to your music career? Hit us with another single, KK! We're running out of songs for our Guilty Pleasure playlist.

Kim Kardashian's August issue of Cosmopolitan hits newsstands July 12. Check out Cosmo's website for a sneak peek.
