+ UPDATE 4/15/2009: It's official! Demi's doing a 47-city tour with David Archuleta, Jordan Pruitt, and KSM this summer. The tour kicks off on June 21 in Hartford, Connecticut. Get the dates after the jump!

According to Archuleta Fan Scene, Buzzworthy crush David Archuleta and unofficial Jonas Sister/ Taylor Swift's bestie/Princess Protection Program and Sonny With A Chance star Demi Lovato (who's been Tweeting up a STORM with John Mayer, but really, does ANYONE Twitter more than John Mayer?) will be making beautiful pop music together on a summer tour. And seriously, besides peanut butter and bananas, Michelle Obama and J. Crew, Rick Astley and Internet hijinx, and Tokio Hotel and Robert Pattinson (so that last one was probably just a rumor, but still) has there ever been a sweeter pairing than Demi and David?

David Archuleta/ Demi Lovato summer tour dates should be announced soon, and the tour still doesn't have a name, which begs the question: What SHOULD David Archuleta and Demi Lovato's tour be called? Here are a few ideas for your consideration...

1.) The Best of Both Worlds, Part II: I know Miley Cyrus already used this one, but can't Disney share?

2.) Don't Forget... HOW MUCH DAVID AND DEMI RULE!

3.) A Little Too Not Over... DAVID ARCHULETA AND DEMI LOVATO! No? Too obvious?

4.) Believe In Me, Angels: Eh?

5.) Best Of Both Worlds... Collide! FTW!

Just as I was drifting off to sleep last night, in that weird not-quite-sleeping/not-quite-awake state, I was stricken with a thought so intense that I was propelled forth out of my bed and swept away to my computer, causing an unfortunate mishap whereby my Archi-Teddy was knocked to the floor and almost eaten by my dog!

Anyway, that thought was: What on EARTH has America's favorite Idol runner-upper/ full-time Cutie von Cuterson David Archuleta been up to lately?

In case you too were wondering what David Archuleta's been up to, here's the latest Archu-scoop. "ROP!"

+ Always a do-gooder, our Archi-baby recently joined DoSomething.org as the (cutest! sweetest! little) face of their newly launched campaign on disaster relief. And he's exclusively focused on REAL disasters, people... not these sorts of disasters). (Archuleta Fan Scene)

+ David is on tour! His shows are mostly sold out (duh) but he's getting some rave reviews along the way so far. (See previous "duh.") (Boston Herald, Star Exponent)

When you're at a Jo Bros concert, it's extremely tempting to lose control, hyperventilate, and spend all your pre-show energy screaming/crying/texting all your friends everyone you've ever met and telling them that you're standing in the EXACT SAME ROOM as Kevin, Joe and Nick. (Trust us, we KNOW.)

But if you can (temporarily) snap yourself out of your OMJ! euphoria, you might just notice that those chicks on stage are doing a pretty good job of warming up the crowd.

We are, of course, talking about KSM, the spunky five-girl group whose Hilary Duff-y (not to be confused with actual Duffy) sound would be enough to get you revved up even if Joe Jonas WEREN'T standing in the very next room, breathing the same air as you.

The girls -- whose ages range from 15-18, despite MySpace's claim that they're really 105 -- spent the past week opening for the Jonases in Detroit (presumably while screaming/crying/hyperventilating) and convincing us that their Avril Lavigne-ish/Miley-esque vocals are the real deal.

Get to know/love KSM (all their names start with K or S and "the M is for music!") by browsing their MySpace page, hitting up their fan site and watching their amazing pre-Jonas performance.  Oh, and get ready: those K and S gals say they've got an album coming out this fall.

And from the sounds of their new single, "Distracted," we're thinking their LP may well be hyperventillation-worthy in its own right.
