It's one of this year's most unlikely collaborations, but somehow, someway, rapper Soulja Boy, rock singer-songwriter Andrew W.K. and pop duo Matt & Kim converged on Converse's new Rubber Tracks Studio to record "I'm A Goner," the latest in the company's "Three Artists, One Song" campaign. And it works! Uhh, most random collabo ever?

The song, produced by Matt Johnson of Matt & Kim, doesn't stray too far from the duo's bouncy, cheerful synth-pop roots. Still, it's a bit jarring to hear the guy who told millions how to "Superman dat ho" rhyme next to Matt's nicest-guy-ever voice. Andrew W.K., A.K.A. the guy who joyously encourages you to party on every song, differentiates, eschews yelling for a soulful rasp, playing on the title and promising, "You're never ever gonna find me."

"When Kim and I sat down to write 'I'm A Goner,' we knew we wanted to make a song people can party to," Johnson said in a statement. "Soulja Boy and Andrew W.K.'s lyrics and energy bring a whole new element to the song that we couldn't be more excited about."

The track follows last year's "All Summer," a similarly incongruous collaboration between Kid Cudi, Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino and Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij.

On Monday we saw a sneak peek of Matt And Kim's new "Block After Block" video, which showed the duo raising hell in a bodega. And now "Block After Block" is finally here, and if it doesn't convince you to quit your job and move to Brooklyn in time for summer, I don't know what will.

"Block After Block," off Matt And Kim's Sidewalks album, starts off calmly enough, with shots of New York's Chinatown and all of that neighborhood's accessible fish. But wait, what's happening? Just a huge, traffic-blocking party in the street! NDB. (There would be a LOT more honking in real life, but I'm willing to let that go.) Utilizing the help of a human keyboard stand and all their friends, New York's smiling-est couple proceeds to throw dance parties in Rockefeller Center, Williamsburg, Union Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, and of course, the subway. I appreciate that one of the extras is representing with a SUPERCHIEF T-shirt, because that's one of the greatest websites ever. (Seriously, check it out.)

I have to get a little emo for a second, because I've been rooting for Matt And Kim ever since I first saw them play a party waaaay back in 2005. (Kim was drumming on a box!) Since then, they have ascended to even greater greatness, without ever forgetting their D.I.Y. roots. This video, directed by Jonathan Del Gatto, is just one more example of M+K keeping it really real.

Indie pop duo Matt And Kim's brand-new video, "Block After Block," directed by Jonathan Del Gatto, couldn't have arrived at a better time: It's just about summer, and in this "Block After Block" video sneak peek, Matt and Kim appear to capture the irrepressible party-time spirit that makes summer in Brooklyn worth braving the disgusting, soul-melting, sidewalk-scorching heat.

In this exclusive preview of "Block After Block," from their Sidewalks album, we see Matt and Kim riding the JMZ train to an impromptu bodega party on Brooklyn's gritty Broadway. (I can almost taste the sweat and smell the sweltering bags of sun-ripened garbage.)

Watch a sneak peek of Matt And Kim's "Block After Block" video, watch Matt And Kim perform "Block After Block" at the O Music Awards and don't miss the video when it premieres on Thursday, June 16, on MTV.com.

Just minutes after performing live at the O Music Awards, presenting awards and melting downtown Vegas' face off, Matt And Kim took a minute and took a seat on the couch with me backstage after the show.

Now, Matt And Kim are known for being two of the nicest artists in the business, but they're also pretty unpredictable. Case in point: Halfway through the interview, Kim got up, harnessed the potential energy and power of T.I. and effing dropped her booty and proceeded to make it bounce and clap. Sadly, Matt And Kim didn't perform an a cappella rendition of R. Kelly's "Ignition" remix, despite my pleadings. They did, however, blow my mind when Kim revealed her rule for what does and doesn't count as a swearword: If it's something you can physically do, it doesn't count as a swearword. BRILLIANT! Swear away, children!

If you weren't already tuning in to MTV's O Music Awards to witness the first-ever online music award show, you're definitely going to tune in now. Chiddy, half of the hip-hop group Chiddy Bang, will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for both "Longest Freestyle Rap" and "Longest Marathon Rapping." And you thought that girl in Karmin who nailed Busta Rhymes' verse in Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now" was impressive...

For those of you who don't have the Guinness World Records memorized (tsk, tsk), allow me to help you out -- Chiddy will attempt to rap for NINE HOURS STRAIGHT. "How is that possible?!" you may be asking yourself in an alarming manner. "What if he needs to use the bathroom?!" We don't know! We'll find out, though! And that's why we'll be watching.

Chiddy's O Music Awards rap marathon begins Thursday, April 28, at 2:30 p.m. ET at OMusicAwards.com. And you can keep up with how it's going on Twitter by following the hashtag #RapWorldRecord.

A few more reasons to catch the O Music Awards: Indie group Matt & Kim will kick off the show, and performers include Lupe Fiasco, Mumford & Sons, and Edward Sharpe among others. Ke$ha, Cee Lo, and B.o.B. are among the presenters.

+ Check out the O Music Award nominees, follow the O Music Awards on Twitter, and watch the O Music Awards live, right here on Thursday, April 28, at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT.

Over here at MTV, we're all atwitter with excitement for the 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards, happening during Austin's South By Southwest Music Festival on Wednesday, March 16, at midnight (ET/PT)! This year's lineup is hotter than ever, with "Community" star and Woodies host Donald Glover and scheduled performances by Wiz Khalifa, Sleigh Bells and Two Door Cinema Club. We sat down for a little Q&A with three of the hottest 2011 Woodies nominees: Lil B, Chiddy Bang, and Woodies veterans Matt & Kim. This time around, Matt Johnson of Matt & Kim went on the record about getting naked on stage, getting violent in his latest music video, and doing keg stands fit for the whole family.

Q: What were some of your favorite moments and performances from last year's Woodies?
Matt: There were a lot of artists that we knew and liked and respected. I was really excited for Cam'ron and Rick Ross. But I have to say one of the great moments that I saw was my brother... There were kegs backstage, and my brother decided that it was a great idea to do a keg stand. And it just happened to be caught on camera. My parents DVRed the show because I was in Europe when it originally aired, so when I came back for the holidays they played it back for me, pausing right when you see my brother's feet sticking up in the air. They were like, "That is your brother doing a keg stand on television." And I thought, "Oh, man, he is so busted right now!" But it's amazing for an awards show to tape something like that and put it on the air.

Q: You are huge fans of hip-hop and incorporate it into your sets and shows. Would you be open to collaborating with hip-hop artists in the future?
Matt: Definitely! Mike D [of the Beastie Boys] did a remix of "Cameras" for us, and we had De La Soul do original verses on a remix for "Daylight." I’d love to do something original or do a performance with someone I love. I think the Woodies is the perfect place to do that.

Q: If you’re going to collaborate with anyone, it should be Lil' Kim so you could perform as "Lil' Matt & Kim."
Matt: (Laughing) "Matt & Lil' Kim!" That would make my Kim super happy. In the end, all she wants to do is dance anyway. So I think we’ll just put Matt and Lil' Kim together, and [Kim] will be booty shaking on the side.

Q: In interviews, you seem to always be asked about your perpetual smiles. But then in your video for "Cameras," you beat the crap out of each other! Are you going for a new roughneck image?
Matt: We definitely end up getting pinned to the cute category because we enjoy what we do, and Kim’s got to smile, and we’re going to be ourselves. We’re not going to put on that bored face you see so many people wear. It's just so boring. But all the same, we don’t want to make a music video that features swing sets and lollipops. That’s going to make people vomit, including me. We decided if we’re going to be ourselves and we’re going to play upbeat music, it's best to counteract it with lots of fake blood and violence.

Q: If Wiz Khalifa invited you to party backstage in his dressing room at the Woodies, what do you expect would happen?
Matt: Judging by the amount of smoke that wafts around in his music videos, I think it goes without saying -- not that Kim and I would partake in that! But we are huge fans, and I cannot wait to see him perform this year. I feel like his backstage party would be pretty chill, there would be some lounges and couches. And let me tell you, if there is one thing that I like doing better sitting down, it's dancing sitting down.

Q: What advice would you give to this year's first-time Woodies performers?
Matt: Go with everything you got. If you saw our performance last year, we had eight people stripping their clothes off as backup singers! At the Woodies you get a chance to do whatever you want creatively because it's not the same people deciding what you can and can't do, like at the Grammys.

Q: What projects are you working on now?
Matt: We have another music video in the planning stages that we will be shooting in a month. And it will be followed up with some jail time possibly. We're definitely going for "go big or go home."

As if the lineup of Wiz Khalifa, Odd Future, Sleigh Bells and Two Door Cinema Club wasn't good enough, you can now add Foo Fighters to the list of performers at the 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards.

This will be the first-ever appearance by Dave Grohl and company at the Woodies. The group is set to perform "Rope," the debut single from their upcoming seventh album Wasting Light.

We've already given you a sneak peek of the Foo Fighter's "Rope" video, which sees the group jamming inside a giant cube, but now you can check out what the group can do when they're live and, uh, cubeless.

This year's mtvU Woodie Awards will be handed out by presenters Matt & Kim, Lupe Fiasco, Dev, Chiddy Bang, Skylar Grey and MTV’s Liz Lee from “My Life as Liz." "Community's" Donald Glover is set to host.

The 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards will be broadcast live during the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, March 16, at midnight ET on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU.

Watch a preview of Foo Fighters' "Rope" below, but make sure you check out the full video premiere on MTV and MTV.com this Thursday, March 10, at 7:54 p.m. ET.

We sat down for a little Q&A with three of the hottest 2011 Woodies nominees: Lil B, Chiddy Bang and Woodies veterans Matt & Kim. First up, Lil B talks Ellen DeGeneres, the future of hip-hop and the gospel of the Based God.

Q: You use the term swag a lot in your music, but the word is everywhere right now. Do you think it's in danger of being overused?
Lil B: Before I brought the word swag back to cooler terms, it was about a year ago, I hated the word. Before I started saying it I was one of the people that was like, Man I hate that word. I started saying it as a joke in my music. Somehow I made it as a trend again. But I’m honored. I feel like every time someone says swag, they’re saying me, you know? It feels good.

Q: Can you explain to people what your Based philosophy is?
Lil B: Based philosophy is just being yourself, doing what you wanna do, being positive. Not really caring what other people think about you. And you just really wanna live your life the way you wanna live it. Just accepting who you are.

Q: You've already conquered the dance "Cooking"? What's your next dance craze going to be?
Lil B: (Laughing) I’ve been thinking about that next dance move that’s gonna sweep the hearts of some people. I'll keep you updated. I've been having some thoughts lately. Like really epic, you know? So it's gonna be amazing.

Q: You have a track called "Ellen DeGeneres." Has Ellen heard it?
Lil B: I guess Ellen is not one of the 1 million people who has seen the video in the last four months. I don’t know if she’s seen it. But it's just love even if she hasn’t seen it. Shout out to Ellen DeGeneres! And if I go to that show, it’ll be fun, but I'm not really asking for nothing. Hopefully she saw it.

Q: You’re nominated for a Left Field Woodie, which is a category for artists who've pushed the envelope and taken things to the next level. What do you predict for the future of hip-hop? What's going to be the next big thing?
Lil B: I think hip-hop is gonna stop being so narrow-minded. Hip-hop is gonna progress to something that is more accepting and more revolutionary for the people because everybody will be included.

Q: Who is hip-hop not including now?
Lil B: Hip-hop is discriminatory toward gays, against happy people. If you’re happy, hip-hop hates you. You could say, "Wow! These hip-hop people are really Republican, they’re really conservative!" Hip-hop has been doing the same thing for years, and a lot of people are OK with it.
