This is where the magic of the movies -- and the VMAs -- is born: in a stifling hot storage room with walls constructed out of some material from whatever predated cardboard, crammed with dusty filing cabinets that probably haven't been opened since the Eisenhower administration. Ah, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood!
This glorified script closet in the Crosby Building on the Paramount lot is also the site of the VMA morning meeting, where we're currently discussing Paramore, Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, T-Pain, Heatherette, TRL, Rob Drydek and Meaty and the on-TV hits you'll be seeing this week leading up to Sunday night.
Meanwhile I'm praying no one lights a match or even spritzes some Right Guard up in here or we're all going up in flames, and not at all in the unionized, special effects way.
Stay tuned.
