When I first heard Good Charlotte's Benji Madden was set to box against former MTV VJ Riki Rachtman, my first thought was, "HUH?" followed by "WTF??" Followed, finally, by "AWESOME." Benji and Riki fought last Friday in Las Vegas, and Benji Madden knocked out the "Headbangers Ball" figurehead in 1 minute and 40 seconds. In other words, Rachtman got served!

If Benji's itching to get back in the ring anytime soon, I can think of plenty of people I'd love to see him go toe-to-toe with, including the following potential human punching bags. More Madden boxing buddies after the jump!

Trace Cyrus: Now that Metro Station is no longer together, Trace has plenty of time to hit the jump and bulk up. Hell, who am I kidding? This guy weighs 90 pounds soaking wet. A fight between him and Madden wouldn't be a civil match -- it'd be an emo bloodbath.

+ Sad news for fans of the band Metro Station. It appears that the electro-rock outfit, which counts Mason Musso and Trace Cyrus as members, may have called it a day. The band was scheduled to appear at Towson University's Tigerfest next month but pulled out. According to the school's campus activities, the band told the school they had called it quits. (Alternative Press)

+ While her brother's band was breaking up, Miley Cyrus was on "Ellen" talking about getting together ... with her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Almost Alice, the collection of songs inspired by Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, has been a big topic around the Buzzworthy campfire for a while now. Why? Because it features so many of our favorite bands, like Tokio Hotel, All-American Rejects and All Time Low.

We've already heard from Metro Station's Mason Musso and Trace Cyrus about their song, "Where's My Angel," and we've checked out the moody, atmospheric video for Avril Lavigne's "Alice." Now, it's time to hear from the boys in Motion City Soundtrack about their album contribution, "Always Running Out Of Time."

In this interview with the folks over at Seventeen.com, frontman Justin Pierre and his bandmates talk about how the song came about, their affection for the work of Tim Burton and the song's speedy recording process.

Check out the interview below. Motion City Soundtrack's My Dinosaur Life is currently available, as is Almost Alice, which came out today, March 2.

+ A little while back, we talked about "Where's My Angel," Metro Station's contribution to Almost Alice, a collection of tracks inspired by Tim Burton's upcoming Alice In Wonderland. Check out this video of singer/guitarist Mason Musso and bandmate Trace Cyrus talking about the film, the song and throwing Hannah Montana—aka Cyrus' sis Miley—down the rabbit hole. (Buzznet)

+ This one should be called, "When an American Idol runner-up attacks!" Adam Lambert recently let his claws loose on Britain's Got Talent winner Susan Boyle when he told MTV News that Boyle's album is "terrible" and that her cover of The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" made him cry "with laughter." Me-ow. (MTV News)

+ You've got Kim Yu-Na fever, I've got Kim Yu-Na fever, we've all got Kim Yu-Na fever! Check out Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Jay-Z pulling off triple toe loops like it ain't no thing. (Idolator)

+ Frankie Muniz—the secret agent formerly known as Cody Banks—spent most of his young life acting in films, so what does he do for an encore? He does what most guys do in their early 20s: He starts a band. The Malcom In The Middle star is now drumming for the Arizona rock band You Hang Up. Read an interview with Muniz and hear some music here. (PopEater)

+ Stop making sense, indeed. Check out the Cyndi Lauper and Tori Amos duet "Why Don't You Love Me," taken from the new David Byrne (Talking Heads) and Fatboy Slim-penned musical Here Lies Love, which chronicles the life and times of politician and shoe maven Imelda Marcos (We Are Pop Slags)

Mason Musso is the tattooed, pierced bad boy of the Musso clan, at least compared to clean cut brother Mitchel. I mean, he's probably not that bad. I'm sure he's got awesome table manners and helps old ladies with their groceries and all that. But if there was a movie about the Musso brothers I could see Mason being the one that was all, "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME AND MY EMOTIONS." Except in a cooler way.

But I digress.

Mason has got a lot on his mind. And he recently sat down with Buzznet to talk about it all.

In a brief chat with the site, the Metro Station member talked about his song, "Where's My Angel," from the much buzzed-about soundtrack-ish to Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, titled Almost Alice. Apparently this jam makes ol' Mason think of tea cups and forests and talking animals. Which works fine with it being about Alice In Wonderland and all.

He also talks about who he would invite to his ideal tea party. Attendees would include brother Mitchel (aww), pop star Shakira (hey!) and the late Notorious B.I.G. (big poppa!).

Read all of Mason's thoughts and musings over at Buzznet, and check out Metro Station's "Kelsey."

Despite the suggestion of the above picture that Call The Cops are collective of nattily dressed professional mini-golfers (and for all I know, they very well might be), they are actually a collective of nattily dressed electro-rockers.

This California five-piece make jams that are equal parts dance and rock, not unlike fellow party-starters Metro Station. On their debut EP, Motion Sickness (released last March), the band effortlessly flits between sugar-rush pop ("Room 410") and anthemic rock ("Love Like Novocaine"), always looking to add bubbling synths and propulsive beats to the mix.

Singers Justin Allen and Will Shuck are equally adept at hushed crooning and big-chorus screaming (and on the track "Motion Sickness" a bit of Auto-Tune), relaying lyrics of hook-ups and heartache.

Call The Cops are currently on the road with We The Kings and Mayday Parade as part of the Sub City Take Action Tour, which Liz Lee from My Life As Liz checked out for Buzzworthy on Monday).

Check out all the tour dates and a ton of music, as well as the video for "Love Like Novocaine," at Call The Cops' MySpace.

Hannah Montana co-star and burgeoning pop sensation Mitchel Musso sat down to answer some pressing questions for us in this episode of "The 5."

Musso, who released his self-titled debut album last June, checks in to talk about working with his brother Mason Musso (he of Metro Station fame) on his single, the pop-rock rave up "Shout It," as well as working with producers like Max Martin (Britney Spears) and Sam Sluggo (We The Kings, Metro Station, Cobra Starship).

He also opines on what makes a rock show a rock show (namely, girls rushing the stage, chaos, etc.), his affection for the Very Special Christmas albums, and his joy at getting to submit his take on "Jingle Bell Rock" to the compilation.

Watch the interview below, and check out Mitchel Musso's exclusive MTV photos.

Did I miss a memo? Was there a meeting I wasn't invited to? A gathering of music video directors in which they decided most videos released in October 2009 MUST BE SET AT COSTUME BALLS?

Metro Station's "Kelsey," Carrie Underwood's "Cowboy Casanova," and now OneRepublic's "All The Right Moves." Is this a statement about our national identity? Is there an Eyes Wide Shut revival going on? Or are music video directors simply watching Panic! At The Disco's "It's Better If You Do" and then thinking, "I want that." Whatever the case, put a stamp on it and mail it to the Federal Department of Music Video Trends.

"All The RIght Moves" is the first single from OneRepublic's forthcoming Waking Up. It's an uptempo departure after "Apologize," with skittering jams and a huge chorus, wherein the group plays houseband for a party inappropriately hosted by an unsupervised child. I'm sure he'll be protected by Ryan Tedder's angelic vocals and genetic predisposition to crank out monster hits, but really, someone should read that kid a story or something. There are probably child labor laws being broken there.

Costume ballers! I feel a motif blossoming. Hot on the heels of Carrie Underwood's brief flirtation with Eyes-Wide-Shut-erry Metro Station deliver their new clip for their old-ish song, "Kelsey," (off the Kelsey EP) featuring more masked hi-jinks than you can shake a monogrammed handkerchief at.

This emo-lectro jam is livened up by the appearance of Aimee Teegarden from the too-awesome-for-words Friday Night Lights. (Teegarden is no stranger to music vids, having appearing in Hinder's "Without You," previously.) In "Kelsey" Teegarden plays the apple of singer Mason Musso's eye, as he pursues her behind her date's back. There's dramz, tears, and more dramz. Not unlike an episode of Friday Night Lights, just with less football.
