Beyoncé took home Billboard Music's Artist Of The Millennium Award last night after it was determined that -- yes -- she is, in fact, better than Leonardo da Vinci, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons or any other virtuoso from the past 1,000 years. After all, who would you rather see bust a move in that skimpy outfit: Pablo Picasso or Sasha Fierce?

(Before you say it, we already know that DaVinci, Warhol, Koons and Picasso aren't the same kind of "artist" as Beyoncé, but thinking about them reenacting the choreography in her "Single Ladies" video makes for a pretty hilarious mental picture.)

Beyoncé's song "Run The World (Girls)" (produced by Switch and Diplo, Major Lazer duo and superstar DJs in their own right) has been steadily climbing the charts and was the talk of the awards show ceremony. Just check the Twitter accounts of stars like Missy Elliott and Bey's own sister Solange Knowles, who were among those in attendance to tweet their approval.

It was a killer performance if we do say so ourselves! Way to keep it fierce, Beyoncé.

We love Jazmine Sullivan and, man, do we ever love Missy Elliot. Both of these R&B queens have been too quiet recently, so we're thrilled to bring you a new Jazmine jam, "Holding You Down," produced by Missy Misdemeanor.

This one is a summer jam, kids. It fits in as well this summer as it would have in the summer of 1988, full of DJ scratches, Slick Rick samples and featuring the legendary drum break from "Impeach The President." Missy's nostalgic production is definitely ear-catching, but Jazmine is the star of the show, putting herself through the wringer over a relationship she just can't get right.

"Holding You Down," is the first single from Jazmine's hotly anticipated untitled sophomore album, which can't get here fast enough. Check out "Holding You Down," as well as Jazmine's video for "Bust Your Windows."

... And then there was Barbie. Nicki Minaj has released the first single, "Massive Attack," from her untitled debut album, and it's sure to ring some alarms.

For an artist so new to the game, "Massive Attack" is incredibly assured. You get the feeling, listening to the song's air-raid keyboards and thunderous beats, that the Young Money princess really wants to separate herself from the rap pack and carve out a space all her own.

Frankly, with her verbal dexterity, complex flow and humor, Nicki is reminiscent of classic Missy Elliot -- and that's a compliment of the highest order.

Look for the "Massive Attack" video later this week. We promise to let you know whenever we hear anything about Nicki's debut album. It's due out at some point this year.
