One of the truly amazing things about Twitter is the insight it gives us into the minds of our favorite celebrities. And we aren't just talking about their tweets. Many celebs choose to express themselves in their profile pics, in weird, unique and fascinating ways. Let's take a look at some of the best (and strangest).

1.) Nelly, who goes by @nelly_mo, comes prepared for the next Twitter outage.

2.) Kevin Jonas: As the Jonas Brother with the lowest profile, @KEVINJONAS keeps up appearances by not making one in his Twitter profile pic. Instead we get a shot of his and wife Danielle Deleasa's yorkie, Riley.

3.) Trey Songz: You'd think @treysongz, the inventor of sex, could afford a nicer digital camera!

4.) Tyrese: @Tyrese's Twitter profile pic is only kinda safe for work. (View it here). Tyrese shows an affinity for online "animation" with this .gif.

5.) Kellan Lutz: "Twilight" star @kellanlutz does not look, um ... nearly vampire-y enough.

6.)  VV Brown: Nice hat, @VVbrown!

7.) Dan Coddaire: The Set Your Goals guitarist, who goes by @danthejew, discovered the effects tool on iPhoto with this pic. Who hasn't had fun with that?

8.) Justin Pierre: That is not actually the Motion City Soundtrack lead singer, AKA @JCPMCS. But he seems like a chill dude just the same, which must be why Pierre made him his profile pic.

9.) Jessica Simpson: Technically this is Jessica's background image, not her profile pic. But just the same, no image quite depicts @jessicasimpson's charms and ability to laugh at herself like this one.

10.) Kanye West: Honorable mention, since he just joined Twitter today (follow him @KanyeWest). Kanye's profile image is the artwork for his most recent single, "Power."

Almost Alice, the collection of songs inspired by Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, has been a big topic around the Buzzworthy campfire for a while now. Why? Because it features so many of our favorite bands, like Tokio Hotel, All-American Rejects and All Time Low.

We've already heard from Metro Station's Mason Musso and Trace Cyrus about their song, "Where's My Angel," and we've checked out the moody, atmospheric video for Avril Lavigne's "Alice." Now, it's time to hear from the boys in Motion City Soundtrack about their album contribution, "Always Running Out Of Time."

In this interview with the folks over at Seventeen.com, frontman Justin Pierre and his bandmates talk about how the song came about, their affection for the work of Tim Burton and the song's speedy recording process.

Check out the interview below. Motion City Soundtrack's My Dinosaur Life is currently available, as is Almost Alice, which came out today, March 2.

Can't wait for Motion City Soundtrack's U.S. tour in April? Well we can totally tide you over until then.

As previously mentioned, team Buzzworthy was embedded on the frontlines with camp Motion City Soundtrack when they played at the Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza with their pals The Swellers, This Providence and Set Your Goals. We got in deep to deliver a great preview feast of what will come in the Spring.

We hung out with the bands before and after the gig (see photos); recorded some of their sets (Motion City Soundtrack's, plus all the opening band pals) and even interviewed the groups on various subjects from their musical influences and stage fright to being on the road. Here's a taste of six MCS songs including, "Disappear" and "The Future Freaks Me Out."

More videos from the show after the jump.

We promised you more Motion City Soundtrack and we weren't fooling. Yesterday we gave you a sneak peek of the MCS track, "Disappear," taped earlier this month at the The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza.

Tomorrow, Thursday, February 18, we'll reveal the entire show, which includes several Motion City Soundtrack live cuts, plus performances by The Swellers, This Providence, Set Your Goals and backstage interviews with all the bands. Oh, did we mention we'll have photos of the entire event, too?

To further whet your appetite, here's a taste of the MCS classic cut "The Future Freaks Me Out" and a clip of frontman Justin Pierre discussing his constant pre-show jitters. The singer says, "Directly before the show I panic," but after all these years it's finally, "getting better." You surely can't tell when he hits the stage. More tomorrow.

Just two weeks ago, Buzzworthy faves Motion City Soundtrack came to the Big Apple to play a gig at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza, and we shot the entire show -- which also featured performances by The Swellers, This Providence and Lady Gaga lovers, Set Your Goals. We hung out with the bands before and after the show, talked to fans and were embedded deep within camp MCS.

We'll be dropping the full concert -- featuring performances by all the bands and backstage footage -- on Thursday, February 18, but in the meantime we thought we'd give you a sneak peek at Motion City Soundtrack's live performance of "Disappear." Tune in tomorrow for more footage from the show and then again on Thursday for the whole set. It's a weighty meal, trust us!

Sometimes the walls close in, the pressure and temperature rise, it all gets too much, and the need to mosh becomes most apparent.

Look, I like an engaging narrative in my music video as much as the next bro. There's nothing like a love story, or a comical mishap or two people shooting machine guns while walking towards one another to get me interested in a clip. But sometimes, if the tune is right, you don't need all the ornamentation.

San Fran band Set Your Goals know this. That's why their not-so-new, but still rad video for "This Will Be The Death Of Us" (taken from the '09 album of the same name) more or less cuts to the chase and gets to the moshing. Even if it's just in my chair.

After some brief emoting by singer Matt Wilson, the hammer drops in the chorus and singer Jordan Brown (yeah, TWO SINGERS) whips the gathered horde into a frothing, camel-kicking fury, as he sings about "terrible lies." Lies are a major trope of hardcore punk rock.

Set Your Goals are currently on tour with Motion City Soundtrack. Stay tuned for full-length performance footage from Set Your Goals' live show with Motion City Soundtrack at New York's Irving Plaza from Tuesday, February 2.

The idea of Tim Burton directing a version of Alice In Wonderland, with appearances from Johnny Depp (The Mad Hatter), Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen) and Anne Hathaway (The White Queen), kind of sells itself. But it's nice to see that the Alice... soundtrack will give the film even more appeal.

The deets of the soundtrack's track list were released a little more than a week ago, with songs from the likes Owl City, All Time Low, Tokio Hotel and Kerli, Motion City Soundtrack and more making appearances (it's like they were reading Buzzworthy or something!).

Now, courtesy of the fine folks at the delicately named We Are Pop Slags, we get a chance to hear some of the music; namely in the form of a radio rip of Avril Lavigne's "Alice (Underground)."

On first listen, "Alice," is a step away from Avril's usual sugar-coated pop-punk; it's operatic (!), atmospheric and, yeah, cinematic.

There's Behind the Music and then there's behind the music. MTV.com's new show, re:PLay, gives you a front row seat to watch the nuts and bolts of your favorite jams take form.

In this episode, Motion City Soundtrack's Justin Pierre talks about the writing and recording of their single, "Disappear." He goes into detail on the unique guitar interplay between himself and fellow Motion City axeman Joshua Cain and the need for distortion on the song (he even asks that you turn the distortion on, "in your mind").

He then proceeds to give a pretty clear demo of how to play "Disappear," with its descending verse chords and its ascending chorus melody. He even gives a handy look at how to play the song's angular solo.

Watch Motion City Soundtrack's Justin Pierre discuss his guitar history on re:Play to see how rock 'n' roll sausage is made. And watch talk you through "Disappear," "The Weakends," and "Her Words Destroyed My Planet."
