We were wondering what that haircut was all about. Now we know! Jared Leto was getting his tour look together. Obvs.

With their last album, This Is War, still relatively hot off the CD presses, 30 Seconds To Mars are ready to head out to battle on their Into The Wild tour.

Coming along for the ride will be openers Neon Trees and Mute Math, who you can read more about here. The tour starts in Las Vegas on April 9th, but lucky for members of The Echelon (the band's loyal fan club), what happens in Vegas will be happening pretty much all over the country.

Darren King, drummer of Mute Math, insists that he is something of a wild child, causing chaos within the band and in his daily life, which is pretty surprising considering he's dressed like a member of the Bushwood country club from Caddyshack. All jokes aside, Darren King is one of those rare drummers who's also a Chatty Kathy. In this edition of "The 5," Kind handles a lot of the talking, explaining how his lust for life sometimes gets him into trouble. He also has a pretty interesting take on how to neutralize overzealous fans. It's a funny, idiosyncratic chat, not unlike the video for their song, "Spotlight."

Have you heard of Mute Math yet? They've been around about six years, pumping a steady gush of heady adrenaline into New Orleans' bloodstream with frantic layered rock songs. They were also on the soundtrack to a little vampire movie called Twilight. Maybe you've heard of it?

Made up of Paul Meany (Rhodes, bass, keytar, keys, samples, vocals, guitar), Darren King (drums, samples), Greg Hill (guitar, vocals) and Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas (bass, upright bass, bass drum) -- that's four musicians playing a minimum of twelve instruments -- it doesn't take much math to understand how they come up with their uniquely ADHD-addled sound.

Equally glitchy and overstimulating is Mute Math's video for their new single, "Spotlight." Shot in double time in the back of a moving vehicle, and propelled by a manic clap-track, the in-your-face clip is the musical equivalent of a keg of espresso. Another thing to keep in mind: a previous Mute Math video, "Typical," got the band nominated for a Grammy! Better not miss this one... Watch "Spotlight" after the jump!
