Have you ever become addicted to someone, "Intervention"-style?

Like a minute couldn't go by where you didn't think about them or what they were doing or who they were doing it with? Like you Googled their name a million times to see if you could piece together a virtual scrapbook of their entire life? Like you had to hunt down all of their past loves so you could see if they were prettier/smarter/thinner/funnier than you and then, in turn, compare yourself to them endlessly? Like, your obsession to know anything and everything about them became so out of control that you were a couple camera crews away from Jeff VanVonderen standing on the other side of a hotel conference room door, telling you your loved ones felt like they were losing you and they wanted to get you back?

Yeah, me neither. I can imagine it's a really intense feeling, though. One that definitely needs its own musical score. When stalking, er, researching the object of your affection, might I suggest the following tunes from Blondie, Kylie Minogue, No Doubt and Hall & Oates.

Feel free to lurk me and all my musings by visiting my website and following me on Twitter (@redpatterndress).

1.) Blondie's "One Way Or Another": Is it just me or does Debbie Harry make stalking sexy? I'm sorry but her unwavering confidence and brazen attitude makes me truly believe that whoever it is that she's set her sights on, they will be hers. No doubt about it. Then again, what man wouldn't want to be with Debbie Effing Harry? Now, if only I could listen to this without automatically picturing Piper Perabo lip-synching on the bar in Coyote Ugly. (Facepalm.)

Listen to "One Way Or Another"

2.) Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head": I don't know what's more intoxicating: Falling for a hot, new dude or listening to this song about falling for a hot, new dude. If I tallied up all the hours I've spent thinking about my crushes, I'm pretty sure I'd be shocked -- and humiliated -- by the results. The worst is when you've spent SO much time thinking about them, you can't remember which situations actually happened and which ones you played out in the movie theater of your mind. Please tell me I'm not the only one whose had that problem. Anyone? Show of hands?

Listen to "Can't Get You Out Of My Head"

3.) No Doubt's "Spiderwebs": Gwen Stefani turns the tables on the typical infatuation song by obsessing over the guy who's obsessing over her in "Spiderwebs." Homeboy won't leave her alone so she has to "screen her phone calls." Did you hear that? It was the sound of the tiniest violin in the world playing. Seriously, though, I think this song kicks butt -- especially when you're looking for a killer karaoke tune -- but don't expect me to cry a river for Gwen and all the men falling at her feet. Stop bogarting the boys, lady!

Listen to "Spiderwebs"

4.) Hall & Oates' "Private Eyes": I'm not the biggest Hall & Oates fan on the planet, but I can't help but love this fantastic stalker song. In fact, I would go as far as to say this might be one of the best infatuation anthems ever written. It's got all the necessary elements: Lurker lyrics? Check. Toe-tapping melody? Check. Hand claps? Check. (On an unrelated note, I always thought this was the bookend to Rockwell's spooky synth track "Somebody's Watching Me." Play both back-to-back and hear what I mean.)

In case you didn't know, working for Buzzworthy is a blast. Yet, as with all jobs, when 5 o'clock rolls around, our minds wander, we start thinking about what we're going to have for dinner (answer: burgers), and we need something to snap us out of our pre-food coma and back into reality. Something like this: A pic of Gwen Stefani looking statuesque in an elegant black dress.

Don't speak. I know what you're thinking. Gwen Stefani looks stun-ning. Don't tell me 'cause it hurts. No. No. It's true: The woman looks truly, truly magnificent here in a black dress at the amFAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Cannes, France. Actually, "stunning" doesn't even cover it. She's so hot in this picture that ovens are going on strike because they can't compete with her. She's so attractive that magnets are suing her. I'm going to stop there before I come up with more bad puns to describe how out-of-this-world beautiful Gwen looks here.

The No Doubt singer recently became the face of L'Oreal Paris -- NICE ONE! -- and also donated $1M of her own money to the tsunami relief in Japan. DOUBLE NICE ONE. Having said that, hopefully she'll be putting out a new album soon because "What You Waiting For?" was my jam back in '05.

Until then, we'll always have Cannes, girl.

The newest issue of Elle magazine, on newsstands April 12, focuses on women in music, highlighting some of today's brightest female stars (see: Willow Smith and Robyn) as well as longtime icons (see: Aretha Franklin and Stevie Nicks). Of course, it was surely hard to choose only a dozen of today's most promising ladies (where's Lady Gaga and Jessie J?), but editors have to cut it off at some point, and they did their work dutifully.

Gwen Stefani leads the pack, gracing the magazine's cover and providing some lip service about her undeniable role in helping sartorially shape today's pop stars like Katy Perry and Rihanna, neither of whom made the cut. "I don’t see myself in those girls," she tells the magazine. "I usually put pants on. I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy. Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there's going to be a little of that. But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing."

C'mon, Gwen, let's not pretend you weren't (and still aren't) CRAZY HOT. Pants on or not, who could help but fall in love with you (certainly not Gavin Rossdale, that's for sure)?

Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, and have a peek at the one and only Incredible Ageless Woman (also known around these parts as Gwen Stefani)! The No Doubt frontwoman signed a couple of autographs before her L.A.M.B. fashion show this week at Lincoln Center, and she looked stunning doing it. Try and save some pretty for the rest of us, girlfriend.

Gwen Stefani and the dudes from No Doubt are currently working on new songs for an upcoming No Doubt album, and we're not exaggerating when we say WE ARE SO EFFING EXCITED IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. But Gwen, like James Franco and Leighton Meester, has a ton of jobs. So right now she's wearing the Big, Important Fashion Lady hat, and we're not hatin' on that. In fact, we're mad jealous.

And we handle our jealousy in the only way we know how -- stealing. BRB, snatching Gwen Stefani's wardrobe/hair and makeup people/meal plan/husband/children/hair dye/lipstick/fashion line and talent. Sorry, Gwen, but we warned you before -- stop being so perfect!!!

Why? Because this Harajuku girl is WORTH it.

L'Oreal Paris just announced that the gorgeous Gwen Stefani will join the ranks of the brand's beautiful spokespeople, the roster of which includes Jennifer Lopez, Milla Jovovich, Diane Keaton, Beyoncé Knowles, Diane Kruger, Evangeline Lilly, Andie MacDowell, Julianna Margulies, Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto and Kerry Washington.

Over the next few months, the rock star, mom, fashion icon and L.A.M.B. clothing line designer will bring her magic to the makeup and begin appearing in advertising campaigns for Infallible Le Rouge, a new collection of lipstick, and Superior Preference hair color. We feel a hair color deal is long overdue for Gwen Stefani, whose platinum hair with nary a ROOT has inspired nearly as many facsimiles as those of Marilyn Monroe. And it has to be said: Her always flawlessly applied red pout would inspire many a lip color sale. No Doubt!

Go Gwen! She'll be "looking at her watch" for her L'Oreal Paris ad, which will premiere during the Golden Globes this Sunday. In the paraphrased words of Mrs. Gavin Rossdale, she's still a super hot female, she's got a million-dollar contract AND we're all waiting for her hot track.

+ What do you think of Gwen Stefani as the latest face of L'Oreal Paris? Sound off in the comments!

Now that the holidays are over, it's unfortunately just plain old winter. And if you're somewhere in the United States right now, chances are you're freezing your pretty little face off. Even though you have two pairs of socks on in front of a drugstore space heater, Black Cards' new single "Dominos" has enough rasta/island/reggae flair to have you practically sipping out of a coconut. (Just go with it!)

Pete Wentz's decidedly un-Fall Out Boy side project Black Cards introduced fans to a new rasta-like sound in their first single "Club Called Heaven." Their second single, "Dominos," has that same fun ska/No Doubt feel to it, and all we want to do is leave all of these dead birds behind (seriously, WTF!!?!?!?), sell our storage unit, and head to the nearest Caribbean island. Singer Bebe Rexha sings, "Make you fall like domino, oh baby boy/Make you fall like domino, you don't have a choice." (You also don't have a choice--you WILL NOT be able to get this song out of your head.)

Black Cards have been a bit quiet about their album release and U.S. tour dates yet, but can we just have more songs in the meantime please?

Enough looking back at 2010; it's time to look forward to 2011. This year will see releases from some of our favorite artists. So, without further ado, let's take a look at Buzzworthy's Most Anticipated Albums of 2011.

Artist: Lady Gaga
Title: Born This Way
Anticipated Release Date: May 23

The Buzz: According to Gaga, Born This Way will sound like "bad kids going to church." Expect a mix of the dance-pop that made her famous, with the addition of an epic, classic rock sound in the vein of Bruce Springsteen and Elton John.

Artist: Britney Spears
Title: TBA
Anticipated Release Date: March (according to Britney's Twitter)

The Buzz: Things are heating up around Britney's upcoming seventh album. Soon enough we'll get a taste of things to come when the Dr. Luke- and Max Martin-produced lead single, "Hold It Against Me," drops. As for the album, Britney's manager, Adam Leber, told MTV News to expect the unexpected: "It'll be a departure from what you've heard."

Artist: Beyoncé
Title: TBA
Anticipated Release Date: TBA
The Buzz:
Last fall we heard rumblings that a new Beyoncé single, co-penned with The-Dream, would be hitting the airwaves and Internets soon. That has yet to surface, but according to another producer, Los Da Mystro, the track was, "INSANE." As for the album itself, according to producer Jim Jonsin, Beyonce's fourth solo full-length might have an '80s vibe.

Artist: Patrick Stump
Title: Soul Punk
Anticipated Release Date
: February
The Buzz:
The first solo effort from the Fall Out Boy. What's he going to sound like without his partner in rhyme, Pete Wentz (who wrote the lyrics for their old band)? Well, if the first single, "Spotlight," is anything to go by, we're in for a R&B/arena rock/emo treat.

Artist: No Doubt
Title: TBA
Anticipated Release Date: TBA
The Buzz:
No Doubt have been reunited for a little while now, touring with Paramore and reconnecting with fans. They spent much of 2010 writing new material, and, as of this writing, had hit the studio to record their sixth studio ... 23 hours ago! That's according to the No Doubt Twitter, which has been updating followers on the band's progress. Great to have Gwen Stefani and the boys back.

Artist: Lil Wayne
Title: The Carter IV
Anticipated Release Date: TBA

The Buzz: Upon being released from prison, Weezy almost immediately hit the studio, recording the ferocious "6'7." If that's anything to go by, expect a clearheaded and hungry Lil Wayne to take us all back to the Carter soon.

Artist: Blink-182
Title: TBA
Anticipated Release Date: Summer
The Buzz:
Blink has been recording on and off since the group's reunion in 2008. Drummer Travis Barker told MTV News the album will be "heavy" and pick up where the band left off with the wonderful (and relatively more mature) 2003 self-titled album.

Artist: All-American Rejects
Title: TBA
Release Date: TBA
The Buzz:
Head Reject Tyson Ritter has been pretty vague when it comes to details about his band's forthcoming fourth album. Talking to Rolling Stone last year, he said that fans should expect an evolutionary step from the band: "It feels good, feels like something organic that we've been trying to step into for years now." Sounds like things are going well, though; in a recent, somewhat cryptic Twitter message Ritter said, "Just got a lovely thumbs-up from my mentor that what we are writing for this next record is special."
