I wont lie: I say a daily prayer (or seven) asking the music gods for new Justin Timberlake music. They must have heard my prayers (PRAISE) because we got to see Justin flex his musical muscles on his appearance last night on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." It's not a new album or anything, but the result was almost equally as awesome.
As a follow-up to their incredible "The History Of Rap," Justin and Fallon (Jallon?) dropped their fiery sequel aptly titled, "The History Of Rap Part 2." Though it was clearly just an act, while being interviewed by Fallon, a seemingly coy Justin was reluctant to even think about attempting to top "Part 1": "No, no, no, stop. It's not gonna happen." said Justin. "We can't do it again, we can't top--" And then JT intentionally gazed over to Jimmy and reached behind him to grab a mic... Game on, folks.
Backed by The Roots, Justin and Jimmy voyaged down rap's memory lane (part 2): Salt-n-Pepa's "Push It," Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby," DMX's "Party Up," and (my personal favorite) Nelly's "Hot in Herre" all made an appearance. And in between a little Cali Swag District and 50 Cent, the duo seamlessly transitioned into Lil Wayne's "A Milli" just before closing out their set with Biz Markie's "Just A Friend."
I'm not sure why it takes a late-night show to get Justin Timberlake to hum a few bars, but I think we'd all like to extend a collective "THANKS!!" to Jimmy Fallon for facilitating even the tiniest hum from Justin's previously on-strike vocal chords.

"Let's talk about sex, ba-by. Let's talk about you and me. Let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that can be."
Salt-N-Pepa's safe-sex anthem "Let's Talk About Sex" might be nearly 20 years old, but the message still holds true today. In fact, at 11 AM EST / 8 AM PST / 4 PM GMT on March 1, Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper will be talking about sex and a bunch of other taboo topics as they participate in "An Electric Audience" hosted by MAC Cosmetics and moderated by Sharon Osbourne.
Gaga and Lauper were recently crowned celebrity spokeswomen for MAC's Viva Glam line of makeup, which donates 100-percent of its proceeds to helping those living with and affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. To commemorate the pairing, the two singers have even released their own namesake MAC lipsticks, the profits of which will also go toward the MAC AIDS Fund.
The sex-themed discussion will be streamed live from London, England, onĀ MAC's Facebook page and Osbourne will even ask previously submitted fan questions to the two pop superstars.
Let's have some fun, this beat is sick. Tune in and find out why you need to wrap it up before taking a ride on anyone's disco stick.

Just because Gunna and Tee of Unladylike are blowing up without leaning too hard on sex appeal, don't think these Midwest mamis aren't sexy. They may take sports and XBox more seriously than they take stopping traffic, but that hasn't stopped the self-proclaimed "shoe heads" from lighting up clubs with "Show 'Em Off," a jam about handbags.
They found each other battling in a Southeast Illinois high school cafeteria and quickly decided they had to form a group. Unladylike set about making a name for themselves by picking up where strong female acts like Salt N' Pepa left off. It didn't take long. Their group got the green light from some New York City talent scouts, and Gunna and Tee quickly found themselves in Def Jam guru L.A. Reid's office, blowing minds with singles like "Dough" and "Bartender."
In the exclusive interview below, the ladies of Unladylike (who got their name from a friend who was shocked by their hardcore lyrics) reveal the sources of the passion that's put them where they are.
