Selena Gomez tapped for 'Hotel Transylvania' film

+ Miley Cyrus is out and Selena Gomez is in to voice the part of Dracula's daughter in the animated film, "Hotel Transylvania." Adam Sandler plays Dracula, and Cee Lo Green will also star. (E!)

+ Maroon 5's Adam Levine has launched his own label. His first signing to 222 Records is "Glee" star Matthew Morrison. "I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew's forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release," said Levine. (E!)

+ OutKast's Andre 3000 and LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy have been tapped for a Gorillaz collaboration. The free track, "DoYaThing," will be available on Converse's website on Feb. 23. (Rap-Up)

Selena Gomez is sick, guys.

I have a bone to pick with the karma police or whoever else is in charge of these kinds of things. I pay my taxes, I don't litter and I've never lit anything on fire -- well, at least not to the point where it would be called "arson." So what do I have to do to get myself looking like Selena Gomez when I'm sick? Homegirl posted this photo to Instagram last night saying, "So sick today :(" and we immediately felt sad-faced right there with her. But then we were like, "Hey! Is that lip gloss? Lip gloss and snotting up gross stuff do NOT go together."

But she's Selena Gomez, y'all. The show must go on. We all think that being famous has got to be like, the coolest thing ever, but those people don't get sick days. Selena's currently on tour in South America, and even though she's feeling under the weather, fans paid for tickets! She must perform! That's rough for anybody.

A speedy recovery to you, Selena. Those Emergen-C packets taste like garbage water, but they work. Rest up, and I hope your NyQuil dreams aren't as bizarre as mine -- ever made out with George Costanza? Consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

For those of you who have somehow sidestepped the whole "Skrillex taking over the world" thing, allow us to fill you in. Skrillex is basically to EDM what Kanye and Jay-Z are to hip-hop right now -- HE RULES ALL. And there are many reasons why this is noteworthy. First of all, he's mega-talented. MTV named him the EDM Artist of the Year in 2011, and he's just recently been nominated for five Grammys.

But more important, he started an entire movement (besides EDM): Skrillex hair. The dude basically just has a half-shaved head, but people are OBSESSED. The band Electric Valentine went viral with their song "Girl, You Got Skrillex Hair," there's an entire Tumblr dedicated to "Girls That Look Like Skrillex" and Ke$ha recently took a buzzer to her head, copping the style for herself.

So we thought to ourselves: Skrillex hair for everyone! And with the help of Photoshop, we pasted Skrillex's famous locks on the likes of Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, to name a few. Finding out that Selena Gomez ate ice cream with horror movie director Eli Roth is like finding out that Taylor Swift screamed every word at a Die Antwoord show -- these things DO NOT MIX. Selena tweeted this photo of her chilling with Eli (literally) over some fancy glasses of dessert along with a quick dig at the dude: "Creepy @eliroth." UMM, ya think?

For those who might not know, Eli Roth is basically the go-to horror guy in Hollywood right now. He's directed and starred in "Cabin Fever" and "Hostel" (Parts I and II) to name a few, and he produced 2010's "The Last Exorcism," which genuinely almost made me urinate on myself. So when we found out that Selena's not only friends with Eli but that they've hung out before, we had a little bit of a freak-out. Selena's all, "Sequined dresses! Love songs! Blue and purple hair!" while Eli's like, "Torture scenes! Blood and guts! Serial killers!" DOES NOT COMPUTE!

But everyone knows opposites attract. And/Or everyone just likes ice cream a lot. That probably explains it.

While I've never actually met Selena Gomez (can someone make that happen, thanks), I admit that seeing her looking FRESH-TAH-DEATH on the cover of March's Cosmopolitan magazine is like finally realizing my very own baby sister's all grown up! Sure, she's been 19 since last summer, but nothing officially announces adulthood more than your GORG face being featured next to headlines about, um, unique ways to woo your man.

In her stunning Cosmo cover shot, the "Hit The Lights" singer glows pretty in pink wearing a flowing pastel dress and warm pink lip gloss. She even takes a page out of Beyoncé's playbook, rocking windblown hair, which reminds us: WHERE ARE YOU, SPRING?

In the interview, Selena discusses growing up, offers stories about her childhood and talks relationships. We also get a sneak peek into what it's like dating Justin Bieber: "I'm just like every 19-year-old girl. If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out and be as normal as possible. I'm fortunate that I've found someone who has that philosophy." Girl's not only beautiful, but she has some serious brains. Cool DNA, Selena.

Basically, if you were to look up "perfect pop star" in the dictionary, Selena Gomez (in this photo specifically) would be front-and-center. From her stance to her obvious passion to those gams (DAMN, GIRL!), pretty much every girl we know has wanted to be the "Love You Like A Love Song" singer at some point. Oh, and she also makes out with Justin Bieber on a regular basis, so that might also have something to do with it.

Selena was snapped belting it out at her recent show in Mexico City, and we're so glad she went with the blue dress she was undecided about on Twitter recently. Not only does it have the requisite amount of sparkles that Selena seems to demand onstage, but hello, that blue is flattering on everybody like, scientifically. Photos like this aren't making it any easier for us to believe that Selena's about to play a "geeky teen" in the upcoming movie, "The Sky Is Everywhere" -- what do you know about that, Selena?!

While you may have one or two quality BFFs to help pick out your outfits, Selena Gomez asks her 9 million-plus Twitter followers to help with her wardrobe woes. Totally normal, right?

The "Hit The Lights" singer hit up her followers with a picture of two outfit options for her concert in South America, and she included the caption: "Which one should I wear tonight? #WOTsouthamerica I'm only supposed to wear one but I want both!" While we entirely respect polling peeps and taking fan opinions, we have to call out the obvs answer: the blue one! It matches her new blue-purple hair flawlessly.

Even though Selena already made her final choice (she went with blue!), we think she should hit up Justin Bieber's followers next time she needs a tiebreaker. If one of Justin's tweets can save lives, we're pretty sure another quick tweet could solve this dilemma.
