+ In honor of Etta James who passed away on Friday, Kelly Clarkson performed "I'd Rather Go Blind" on Saturday at NYC's Radio City Music Hall. Clarkson's rendition of James' "At Last" was the song she auditioned with to get her on "American Idol." (Just Jared)

We understand the irony of a guy who's made a career out of yelling "WHAAT?" and "OKAAY!" over hip-hop tracks showing up at the finale of the nation's premier singing competition. We really do. Those kids practiced for years to get their voices where they are, and in typical Lil Jon fashion, Lil Jon just kind of shows up at the finale and says "YEEAAAHHH" in his signature spastic-chill way. Because when you're as unflappable as Lil Jon, even a show as huge as the "American Idol" finale simply ain't no thang. Who are we kidding? Lil Jon could show up anywhere and make it that much more awesome.
Lil Jon introduced the amazing TLC last night on the show. "Idol" judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler (and also Jack Black, of all people!) were also on the red carpet for yesterday's finale, where 17-year-old country singer Scotty McCreery became the 10th "American Idol" winner. This is the first season that former "Idol" judge (and "Idol" impresario) Simon Cowell has been off the show since he left to work on his new singing competition franchise, The X Factor, which, by the way, made headlines yesterday when it was announced that Pussycat Doll frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger would be taking the place of British pop royalty Cheryl Cole as one of the judges. Which got us thinking...
Hey "Idol," why don't you have Lil Jon on as one of the judges? He's already got a built-in grading system. "WHAAT?" if it's bad, "OKAAY" if it's, well, and "YEEAAH" if it's great. See? Genius.

Welcome back to my weekly Internet Top 10! All the celebrities have gone into hibernation until next year, and with them goes all the juicy, spicy gossip. Luckily there's still plenty of grade A Christmastime kitty action going 'round. Shall we...?
1.) Brrrr! It sure is getting chilly outside. Good thing these kittens are wearing mittens. (YouTube)
2.) Oprah's final Favorite Things episode aired and IT. WAS. BANANAAAAAAAAS (that was supposed to be an excited Oprah voice). Volkswagens, control-top jeans and (the reason for the control-top jeans) jelly-filled danish were had by all! But then Oprah kind of snapped and unleashed a plague of bees on her audience. What a grinch! (Funny Or Die via TeamCoco)
3.) The son in this trailer for Mel Gibson's bizarre "comeback" vehicle, "The Beaver," has got it right. He asks, "Is this a joke?" (PopEater)
4.) From what I can tell in these "American Idol" promos, newbie judge Steven Tyler will be reprising his role as a will-use-any-excuse-to-scream '80s rock frontman for the competition's 10th season. (Idolator)
5.) I don't know if you've been following MTV News' Top 25 Songs of 2010 countdown, but let me just say this: If Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" doesn't break the top four, someone is getting a STERN talking to. But also, I'm really happy for you, Cee Lo Green. (MTV News)
6.) Joe Jonas is a guest judge on Top Chef. At this point, you may be asking yourself, "What does Joe Jonas know about food?" The answer to that is, just about as much as the Top Chef contestant knows about him, which is to say, not a ton. (Grub Street via Bravo)
7.) Now you can wrap your gifts in the warmth of Twitter, 140 characters at a time! The first 3,000 peeps to swaddle their holiday booty in non sequiturs will receive a free printed roll of their wrapping paper and maybe also a laptop. (Mashable)
8.) Here's New Kids On the Block (circa when Arsenio Hall still had a show) wishing you a Funky, Funky Christmas! (Break.com)
9.) This incredibly creepy woman is the reason hand models get such a bad wrap. (Yahoo!)
10.) And finally, drumroll, please... BAD, BAD KITTEH IN A CHRISTMAS TREE! This video makes me die. (Buzzfeed)

You have to wonder if "American Idol" producers know what they are getting themselves into by hiring Jennifer Lopez as a judge for the upcoming season. Sure they get a supremely talented actress/singer/dancer/fashion designer/mom/wife/etc. But they also, based on the outrageously awesome hairstyle Lopez was rocking at today's press conference, have hired the lost member of "Charlie's Angels."
Lopez was sporting her fiercest Farrah Fawcett flip onstage when she was officially announced along with Aerosmith's Steven Tyler as a judge for the mega-popular musical talent search. She did not do any high-flying kicks or tackle any bad guys; she simply looked beautiful in what appears to be a bedazzled gray blouse (bedazzled with angel tears, in all likelihood).
Season 10 of "American Idol" with new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, old judge Randy Jackson and never-aging, possibly immortal host Ryan Seacrest returns in January 2011.

We all love Tokio Hotel, but let's be honest they are as much a visual feast as an audio pleasure. The two go hand in hand, with their music amplified by their goth-cyber-punk attire. So it seems only right that Celebuzz sat down with Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz to talk about his distinct fashions, his style tastes and who he admires, sartorially speaking.
According to Kaulitz, he has a trinity of fashion heroes. The first two aren't that surprising: Karl Lagerfeld and Heidi Silmane. But the third member of the troika might raise some eyebrows, as Kaulitz expresses his admiration for Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. Who knew?
Elsewhere in the interview, Kaulitz talks about his disdain for fur and his inability to pack light when it comes to touring (he brings more than 10 suitcases with him). Plus, he tries to summarize his look.
Read the interview over at Celebuzz; we promise you'll feel more stylish once you do.

On the heels of Stone Temple Pilots' much buzzed about live appearance at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas, last week, let us now turn our attention to STP's upcoming self-titled album, prepped for a May release. Scott Weiland seems to have pulled himself together and gotten on the straight and narrow. But despite getting clean, the notorious bad boy is still infatuated with singing about the darkside.
Stone Temple Pilots' lead single is "Between The Lines," a slithery hard-rock number that recalls both early '90s Aerosmith (Weiland definitely has some Steven Tyler in his voice on this one) as well as classic STP.
With the headline-grabbing chorus, "You were always my favorite drug/Even when we used to do drugs," Weiland is still flirting with his demons. Here's hoping he keeps a safe distance and keeps making classic Pilots anthems like this one.
Stone Temple Pilots is out May 25.

Word on the street is that he sustained minor injuries to his head, neck, and shoulder (translation: lips). Get better, Stevie! (Seriously? OMG! WTF?)
+ Ricky Martin has finally stopped shaking his bon bon long enough to join the Twitterverse. AY YI YI! (OHLALA)
+ SO amazing. Lauren Conrad and the rest of her Hills friends have been immortalized in pastels and are hanging in some art gallery in Vancouver. And it's even the really good shot of Lauren with mascara streaming down her face. You know, from that one time when she cried? (Pretty Boring)
