Missed this past July's mtvU Sunblock Festival with Gym Class Heroes, Never Shout Never, Boys Like Girls, and The Academy Is... and the Veronicas because you couldn't get to Missourah or Baltimurrr? I hear that.

Watch eight full-length live performances from the mtvU Sunblock Tour. It's like you were RIGHT THERE, minus the sticky arena floors and show sweat.

Click the arrow (magic!) to watch Gym Class Heroes' live performance of "Cookie Jar" and "Guilty As Charged," Boys Like Girls' "Love Drunk" and "Heart Heart Heartbreak," The Veronicas' "Take Me On The Floor," The Academy Is... performing "His Girl Friday" and "About A Girl," and Buzzworthy favorite Never Shout Never's "Happy."

Personas are important, but they're distracting. I'm thinking of Pink, in particular, who has done so much to define herself as a wild-haired rocker bad-ass, that it's easy to totally overlook the fact that she's also super talented. In other words, it can be hard to hear -- over all the hollering and snarling she's rightfully famous for -- that Pink can sing like nobody's business.

Butch Walker looks real tough, too, but he's another story altogether. He's been chipping away at the music industry since the mid '80s, working as a songwriter, producer and a member of several successful bands. He's played pop metal, glam, and straight up rock with bands like SouthGang and Marvelous 3, never restricting himself to any particular genre. Between gigs he's made records for artists as diverse as Avril Lavigne, Lindsay Lohan, Hot Hot Heat, Pete Yorn, The Academy Is..., The Cab and, wouldn't you know it, Pink.

Outside of the studio, Butch and Pink (who share a motorcycle obsession, among other things) have been drinking buddies for ages. He played her "Here Comes The..." way back, when he first wrote it, and she was instantly smitten. Told Butch that if and when he ever recorded it, she wanted to take care of the harmonies for him. When the time came, that's exactly what she did.

In his latest effort, a solo stint that's produced a record called Sycamore Meadows, Butch Walker plays boozy, drawling rock, true to his Georgia roots. "Here Comes The...," the album's second single, is a rollicking bar room reel. And, although Pink doesn't appear in the hilariously weird mannequin-love video below, she carries the tune with backing vocals that ooze old-country soul. By checking her persona at the door, Pink lets previously overshadowed talent shine through, possibly ushering in a new direction for her music and a more solid identity for Butch Walker's.

If you recognize Evan Taubenfeld, it's probably because he used to play guitar in Avril Lavigne's band. That, or you're already a member of The Blacklist Club, the family, army and movement that shares its name with his debut album, due out this summer.

The Baltimore artist with the bleached blond hair, who claims to be better looking than Brad Pitt, has already released his lead single, "Boy Meets Girl." In it, he describes his sound as "Twisted Sister meets Mr. Mister," and that's not so far off ("Motorhead meets The Grateful Dead in a game of Twister" is a harder sell). He combines Mr. Mister's pop ballad sentimentality with Twisted Sister's irreverent hard rock energy. Kinda like ... Avril? What's not to like?!

Last time Evan Taubenfeld appeared on Buzzworthy, it was because he popped up in The Academy Is... bassist Adam Siska's Twitter (by the way, that's @siskybusiness, and Evan Twitters at @evantaubenfeld) This time it's because he's about to blow up.

We sat down with Evan Taubenfeld and had him list off five crucial things for prospective fans to know about The Blacklist Club. Magic and fruit are among them. Click play below to get the whole scoop, and watch Evan's "Boy Meets Girl" video after the jump.

Meanwhile, back in the Twitterverse, The Academy Is...'s Adam Siska/Sisky joined Twitter! Follow him at @siskybusiness. Apparently he's currently staring into evan taubenfeld's beautiful eyes.

I mean WHO? WHO? In their RIGHT OR LEFT MIND would LEAVE David Cook? SHAME ON YOU, Sarah Roemer, even though you're just PORTRAYING David Cook's lost love. Also, David, you are PHENOMENAL at playing piano in reverse and hailing a cab in the middle of the woods. (I can hardly get one in Times Square!) That takes SKILL! And, as always, David Cook, your soulful scruff is the picture of perfection!

Watch David Cook's visually arresting new video, "Come Back To Me," from his certified Platinum self-titled debut. The "Come Back To Me" video was shot at LAX airport -- Maroon 5 also shot their "Make Me Wonder" video there -- by Gavin Bowden (Lifehouse, Jason Mraz, Red Hot Chili Peppers).

Plus, watch David Cook answer Buzzworthy fan questions!

Pearl Jam is one of those bands that is so distinct -- with a sound so defined -- that, while it doesn't take a huge amount of courage to cover them, it does take a huge amount of talent to do it well. In fact, being able to approximate Pearl Jam without sounding like a loser is a legitimate basis for starting a new band. Look at Staind. Stone Temple Pilots. The list goes on.

William Beckett doesn't sound like Eddie Vedder, and he doesn't try to either. He doesn't make evil faces or scary hands or pantomime pottery with his eyes closed as he sings. He just sings "Jeremy" plainly, "Clearly I remember, picking on the boy," like earnest karaoke on an overnight choir trip. And I actually mean that as a huge compliment. He sings it as himself and sings it well, just like any deep down fan would. Only William Beckett's actually got a great voice.

P.O.S. isn't trying to do any impersonations either, although he is in flannel. The Minneapolis hardcore-kid-turned-Rhymesayer howls the lyrics to "Why Go," punctuated by the occasional hypeman's "Wooo," over a programmed beat, adding keyboard flourishes when appropriate. It's more a metamorphosis than it is a cover. Aside from the melody (P.O.S. apologizes for lack of auto-tuner -- ha!), the old "Why Go" is all but unrecognizable in the new.

Something tells me Pearl Jam would be way into that. Something tells me you will be, too. Watch William Beckett covering "Jeremy" below, and P.O.S. covering "Why Go," after the jump.

These days, everyone who's anyone is partying over in the Twitterverse (bonus -- you don't even have to leave your couch!), and celebs are no exception. Also, if you don't know what Twitter is, a.) Seriously?!, and b.) Watch this.

Anyway, we here at Buzzworthy love Twitter because, well, we Tweet! But also, we love Twitter because the sheer entertainment value of following your favorite celeb CANNOT be overlooked. We've laughed, we've cried, we've poked our eyes out (after reading John Mayer's penis-falling-asleep Tweet) and attempted to set our keyboards on fire (ENERGY!). But we always come back for more.

So, herewith is our roundup of our favorite, must-follow celebrities who Twitter.

CLASS A CRAZIES: This group includes the "must-follows" -- the celebrities whose Tweets are so friggin' BANOODLES you simply cannot miss them.
+ Diddy (@iamdiddy) -- If you follow NO ONE else on this list, please, please, please follow Diddy. (LET'S GO, PEOPLE!)
+ MC Hammer (@MCHammer) -- Apparently he was hiding an early adopter in those glittery Hammer pants!
+ Shaqille O'Neill (@THE_REAL_SHAQ) -- Shaq lives in Twitteronia.
+ Snoop Dogg (@snoopdogg) -- His "izzle" talk just slays me every time. Occassionally Tweets while toking.
+ Steve Buscemi (@steve_buscemi) -- He hates penguins!
+ Solange Knowles (@solangeknowles) -- Love Solange, but when is she NOT Twittering. I think she's the sole reason Twitter keeps crashing.
+ Xzibit (@mrxtothaz)
+ Ryan Seacrest (@RyanSeacrest) -- Dude Tweets DURING COMMERCIAL BREAKS of American Idol! HOW IS THAT EVEN ALLOWED?
+ Lily Allen (@lilyroseallen) -- Lily still kinda hates Perez Hilton, and they are FOREVER back-and-forthing forever on Twitter.
+ Heidi Montag (@montagheidi) -- I swear to the Lord, you will S--T when you see how many of Heidi's Tweets are about Jesus!
+ Spencer Pratt (@prattspencer) -- Sometimes he's on the Bible train too, and he once even compared himself to Jesus. Epic.

FAMOUS BUT KINDA BORING: This group is dependable though almost never shocking. But they're all famous, so they've usually got somewhat interesting things to say. Just don't expect ALL CAPS Diddy rants or Lily Allen vs. Perez Hilton feuds):
+ Britney Spears (@britneyspears) -- Sometimes Britney's team posts for her, but this is still a good one.
+ Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) -- Yay, Selena!
+ Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) -- Demi and Selena leave each other little Twitter notes. 'Scute!
+ Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) -- W00t Taylor! Predictably, Taylor Swift's Tweets are sweet.
+ Dave Matthews (@davejmatthews)
+ Soulja Boy Tell 'Em (@souljaboytellem) -- Mostly Soulja wants you to click on shiz for him and make him more famous. Soulja Boy also Tweets his beef with 50 Cent. (That was one of the weirdest sentences I've ever typed.)
+ Dave Navarro (@davenavarro6767) -- Tweets about being bored and playing video games. Fair enough, we say!
+ John Mayer (@johncmayer) -- He's become a bit of a mad Twitterer lately, and I'm actually a little tempted to move him to the above category. He once Tweeted about his penis falling asleep.
+ Sara Bareilles (@SaraBareilles) -- Sara Bareilles really needs to Twitter more.
+ Mark Hoppus (@markhoppus) -- He's been Tweeting about blink's new album a lot.
+ A Cursive Memory (@acursivememory) -- They really need to Tweet more.
+ Simon Curtis (@simoncurtis) -- Yay! We LOVE Simon Curtis! Posts fun pix of his trips.
+ Regina Spektor (@reginaspektor)
+ Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) -- Surprisingly, this feed is not so crazy. Bummer.
+ LeAnn Rimes (@leannrimes)
+ DJ AM (@DJ_AM)
+ REM (@remhq)
+ Duran Duran (@duranduran) -- Yes, they ARE still around!
+ Nick Cannon (@nickcannon4real) -- Mr. Mariah Carey is livin' large in the Twitterverse too.
+ William Beckett (@billbeckett)
+ Bjork (@bjork) -- Hers are crappy, unfortunately.
+ Four Year Strong (@fys)
+ Janelle Monae (@janellemonae)
+ Katy Perry (@katyperry) -- More exciting IRL than on Twitter. Oh wells.
+ Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) -- Ditto. Lady Gaga's Twitter sorta reeks of label Tweeting.
+ Ingrid Michaelson (@ingridmusic) -- Hers are cool and make me wanna hang out with her even more than I already do.
+ Cinema Bizarre (@cinemabizarre) -- Lady Gaga's German tourmates are also Twittering!

Hellooo, feelings! Mayday Parade's got a new Mark Staubach-directed (Gym Class Heroes, The Academy Is...) clip, and it is one serious tear-jerker. "Miserable At Best" is a gut-wrenching break-up ballad with no punches pulled. Just look at these brutal lyrics:

"Let's not pretend that you're alone tonight (I know he's there)

You're probably hanging out and making eyes (While across the room, he stares)

I bet he gets the nerve to walk the floor and ask my girl to dance...

And she'll say yes."

ROUGH. But wait a minute... Doesn't this all look a little familiar? YES IT DOES! Were you alive in 1996 when Counting Crows dropped that mega-ton of heartache called "Long December" on the unsuspecting world? Let's review... Bad break-up, sad times, getting over it, band singing in the snow while interludes tell the story of a love gone wrong with a raven-haired beauty... The songs even sound alike!

Does this mean that the grocery store hottie in the Mayday Parade video is gonna be the star of the next Friends? Does this mean that "Jamie All Over" is the new "Mr. Jones?" Time will tell, Buzz-ards. Time will tell. For now, watch both videos (CC after the jump) at the same time and see if you can even tell them apart!

The Academy Is... talks beards, bacne, the Jim Carrey fan club, scoliosis, and shooting hoops off Shaq's face in this exclusive interview backstage at MTV on New Year's Eve. Oh yeah, their New Year's resolution: collectively not dying! A great start!

Watch their interview, and get more MTV New Year's stuff here!

MTV viewers, behold! The guys from All Time Low are SUPER DUPER PSYCHED to perform during MTV's live New Year's Eve party!

I'd like to think it's because they'll be right here in Times Square (i.e. in close proximity to ME ME ME) but it's probably got more to do with hanging with The Veronicas, spending (virtual) QT with Miley Cyrus and sharing the stage with The Academy Is...  and Metro Station.

Check out ATL's official announcement-slash-video invite, and tune in December 31st at 8pm to catch all the exciting pre-ball-dropping action.
