The Trace is that band you bring home to mom. They're badass on the outside, but probably great boyfriends supersweet on the inside. And please forgive me for not opening with a line about how talented The Trace are as musicians, but I got momentarily distracted by THEIR HANDSOME FACES.

Moving on to the tunes: Made up of four dudes from Bethlehem, PA, I'd like to call The Trace a pop-rock band because their songs are hooky enough to be pop tunes and hard-core enough to be rock songs. But there's something else floating around in the mix -- maybe it's the boys' heartfelt lyrics, or maybe it's their supertight harmonies, but The Trace possesses a unique quality that sets them apart from other pop rockers.

It's totally possible that this "quality" is actually the fact that these dudes have shared the stage with like, 10 trillion famous rockers. The Trace have performed alongside Hot Chelle Rae, Boys Like Girls, Yellowcard, The Ready Set, New Found Glory, All Time Low, Iyaz Jason Derulo and Honor Society, to name a few.

But it's not all rock for the boys. Ballads like "All In All" show the boys' softer, dare I say in-touch-with-their-feminine side: "I won't go/Until we're safe and sound/With your taste inside my mouth/Just saying, until this moment leaves/There's no place I'd rather be/Will you stay with me?" Again, this was the kind of band you could bring home to Mom! And Dad probably won't punch them out, either.

The Trace's new album The Trace EP is out now.

Today we shared our favorite fall albums in Buzzworthy's Fall Music 2011 Preview. The lineup of 29 new albums includes heavy hitters -- Drake's Take Care album, Britney's B In The Mix: The Remixes 2 remix album and Rihanna's untitled sixth studio album, due out this November -- solo efforts from Patrick Stump and Joe Jonas, and small-but-strong up-and-comers like I Fight Dragons and Allstar Weekend.

And now we wanna hear from you! Which new fall album are you most excited about?

Lovatics already sent Demi Lovato's Unbroken to No. 1. Rihanna's personal military will surely rally the troops for her upcoming sixth studio album. Meanwhile Britney Stans are breathing heavy in anticipation of Britney's B In The Mix: The Remixes 2 album. And artists like YelaWolf and J. Cole are releasing their debut albums but already attracted legions of die-hard fans.

Gym Class Heroes fans have been waiting three years for a new album after 2008's The Quilt, and Evanescence fans have been waiting HALF A DECADE for the band's third studio album. Blink-182 fans might've thought they'd never see the day that Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge would reunite for their Neighborhoods album, eight years after releasing Blink-182.

So which fall album will you have on repeat all season long? Vote in our fall 2011 album poll. We'll announce the album with the most votes on Tuesday, Oct. 4!

It's officially fall, y'all. Which means pumpkin lattes (unnecessary yet impossible to resist), bowls of free candy (dooon't mind if I do) and a superabundant stream of new albums vying for any remaining space on your iPod. So here at Buzzworthy, our music writers -- Tamar Anitai, Nicole James, Jason Newman, Jenna Rubenstein and Brad Stern -- harvested 29 of our favorite new and upcoming albums into a fall-friendly guide that's easier to digest than those weird brown candy corns.

The fall music forecast calls for dance floor fillers such as Jason Derulo's Future History, Patrick Stump's Soul Punk and Joe Jonas' Fast Life (two highly anticipated solo missions!), with high chances of comebacks like Blink-182's Neighborhoods, Evanescence's self-titled album, Gym Class Heroes' The Papercut Chronicles II and Demi Lovato's Unbroken. Expect new music by overachievers too: Britney released Femme Fatale six month ago, but that's not stopping her from dropping her remix album next month. And Rihanna will debut her sixth studio album almost a year to the day she released her Loud album, which is still riding high on the charts.

So, without further adieu or belaboring, check out Buzzworthy's Fall Music Preview 2011 -- 29 new fall albums on our radar that need to be on yours too! And vote for the fall album you're most excited about!

SAVES THE DAY, Daybreak: Saves The Day's been playing a serious game of musical chairs and contending with a constantly shifting lineup. Case in point? The band's latest album, Daybreak (featuring the title track, which is an 11-minute rock opera), is the first without longtime guitarist David Soloway and their first (and last) with temporary drummer Spencer Peterson. But Daybreak leaves no room for skeptics. There's "1984," an homage to old-school garage rock, and "O," an unassuming ballad that features lead vocalist Chris Conley literally begging to be with his woman (we'll pause for the collective "Awww"). Instant classic. -- Jenna Rubenstein
Standout songs: "1984," "O," "Undress Me"
Release date: Sept. 13

CODY SIMPSON, Coast To Coast: Perhaps best known as Australia's answer to Justin Bieber (start screaming now!), 14-year-old heartthrob Cody Simpson's about to set dozens of young hearts ablaze with the release of his second stateside EP, Coast to Coast, on Sept. 20. Channeling all the best young blond crooners -- from Jesse McCartney to Aaron Carter -- Cody Simpson's bringing straight-up R&B-pop on his latest EP, including his swoon-y springtime single "On My Mind" and his most recent release, the breakup ballad "Not Just You." With album production credits that include Danja, The Messengers and Adele hitmaker Fraser T. Smith, his musical team is more top talent than teenybopper. -- Brad Stern
Standout songs: "On My Mind," "Angel," "Not Just You"
Release date: Sept. 20

DEMI LOVATO, Unbroken: On Unbroken, her third album, Demi Lovato comes clean, inspires and experiments with something totally healthy: musical styles. Though Unbroken reflects her time getting sober and getting healthy after entering rehab in late 2010, Unbroken's both confessional and cathartic. Pulling in Timbaland, Missy Elliott and Iyaz, Demi goes dance-pop on party tracks such as "All Night Long" and "Who's That Boy" (featuring Dev) while going beneath the surface into personal territory, like on her revelatory, Phoenix-rising redemption song, "Skyscraper." Demi's definitely on the right track: Unbroken went to No. 1 within the first HOUR it was released. -- Tamar Anitai
Standout songs: "Skyscraper," "Give Your Heart A Break," "Who's That Boy"
Release date: Sept. 20

Just because you worship at the altar of Pierce The Veil or Woe Is Me doesn't mean you can't secretly enjoy Katy Perry's lighthearted romp through bubble-gum flavored '80s nostalgia or Ke$ha's endless commitment to glitter. Or AutoTune. Come on. You KNOW you bump Britney in the car. Which is why we're stoked to announce the official track list for Punk Goes Pop Volume 4, the fourth installation of our all-time favorite compilation album wherein some of our favorite punk bands cover some of our favorite pop songs.

Punk Goes Pop Volume 4 features the unlikely makeover of monster hits such as Wiz Khalifa's "Roll Up" and Nicki Minaj's unstoppably hypnotic Super Bass," plus, adorably, Taylor Swift's lilting "You Belong With Me" and Adele's haunting contralto torch song by hard-core acts such as For All Those Sleeping and Sleeping With Sirens. For those who like their country-crossover pop with a heavy dose of power chords and screamo.

+ Check out the Punk Goes Pop Volume 4 track list, and get the album Nov. 22 on Fearless Records.

Ahhh, guys! Just when you thought the Mayor of Adorbztown, The Ready Set's Jordan Witzigreuter, couldn't get any cuter, he made an animated video about falling in love with a girl! "Hollywood Dream," the latest single off of his new EP, Feel Good Now, out Oct. 11, is about a boy from the Midwest who falls for a... wait for it... girl from Hollywood! And the animated video highlights the entire story.

In the video, we see animated Jordan with vague vampire teeth fall in love with a robotic animated girl with glasses (just go with it). They dance their way through famous movie scenes throughout history including "Pulp Fiction," "The Wizard Of Oz" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Then there's some chase scenes, some kind of alien abduction and an undersea adventure. These cartoons are cray.

Honestly, the plot doesn't even matter. "Hollywood Dream" is too cute to have a story line. Just watch it.

Summer's almost here, guys -- we can feel it (underneath the tired winter coats we're still sporting). We know it's got to get here eventually (science says so!), and in no time we'll be getting in trouble for our short shorts and complaining about the humidity. To help get us in the flip-flops mood, we have Let's Get It's "We Don't Care" on repeat up in here. If you don't think this song is the ultimate summer jam, then you probably don't get summer where you live (sorry, Greenland).

Let's Get It, a pop/rock/R&B fivesome from Dayton, Ohio, drop their debut album Masters of the Universe at the end of May, and the first single, "We Don't Care," is seriously addictive. Parts of the song's instrumentals are reminding us a little of the 2009 summer jam, Vega's "No Reasons" (get to know it if you don't already), and the vocal stylings sound a bit like The Ready Set. Add in the catchiest chorus ever, and you've got yourself the perfect hot weather track.

Fetch me my Ray-Bans and beach towel, please. Let's Get It and I have a summer to go dominate.

You already know from our recently posted Setisode that The Ready Set, aka 21-year-old singer/songwriter Jordan Witzigreuter, wants to talk about you for a while. He's nice like that. But now he's doubling down on his awesomeness with the premiere of "Young Forever," the first single from his as-yet untitled second album.

In the video, Witzigreuter transforms into Zach Morris 2.0 by using a "Freeze Time" iPhone app to suspend the movements of a needling manager and everyone else in the hotel who's trying to keep him from hanging out with a gaggle of female admirers. We're not sure how the girls he wants to hang out with somehow remain mobile but, hey, it's his video. Just go with it.

The free-moving group run around the hotel, throwing streamers in the hallways, bombing unsuspecting people with silly string and generally raising the type of havoc that would get a 21-year-old... well, probably not thrown out or arrested, but certainly given a stern talking to by an angry dad.

The band also gets to rock out in the hotel lobby and showcase the new track, one of the group's most synth-heavy, dancey songs to date. Not to gripe, but we've shown Witzigreuter so much love in the past, the least he could've done was given us one of those apps as a thank-you gift. Always good to have when the boss walks by.

While The Ready Set continue to work on the follow-up to their 2010 debut album I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming, check out the video for "Young Forever" below.

We've haven't exactly been shy about our love for Jordan Witzigreuter, whom you probably know better as The Ready Set. That's why we're stoked the 21-year-old singer has blessed us with his latest Ready Set Setisode. Not only does the short clip teach fans about the band's ethos, but it also works nicely as a preview for TRS' new video "Young Forever," which we're premiering tomorrow right here at Buzzworthy and MTV.com.

As Witzigreuter explains in the video below, "The Ready Set is not just a clever tagline that makes you think, 'Go.' The Ready Set is a state of mind." And if that state of mind leads you to skip the "baller clubs" in lieu of "getting Venti soy iced-chai lattes" to "talk about you for while," so be it.

This Setisode is a tongue-in-cheek spoof that's kinda like those Nike-esque commercials colleges use to recruit new students and make their campuses seem really awesome. Our favorite part is Jordan's yes-no-maybe-OK smiley expressions at the end.

Watch the Setisode and come back tomorrow for the video premiere of The Ready Set's "Young Forever" video.

We were already fans of The Ready Set here, but we have to let you in on why we're even bigger fans now. We just discovered that Jordan Witzigreuter has a Twitter account... FOR HIS CAT. And he probably has more followers than you.

(Credit: @wallacethecat)

Wallace (@wallacethecat), seen here in the ballin'-est cat pic to ever hit the Internet, tweets from the comfort of "Jordan's house," as listed on his Twitter bio. (Hint: It's actually Jordan and his bandmates, but let's just pretend, OK?!) "I am the Casanova of cats," Wallace reveals. "I shed a lot and I want to eat your food. I also like to open-hand punch. No opposable thumbs."

What does Wallace tweet about, you ask? Oh, just regular cat stuff:

+ "Anyone need cat advice, hit me up!"

+ "Dear stupid-flying-bug-thing, don't toy with me. I can go from paws to claws in NO TIME!"

+ "Trying to find some pajama jeans so I can look super fly when I sleep too."

Cat advice? PAJAMA JEANS?! We are IN LOVE with Wallace. But that may or may not have something to do with our enormous disturbing tiny obsession with cats here at Buzzworthy... OK, fine -- we love cats! Leave us alone!

Follow The Ready Set on Twitter at @thereadyset and become one of Wallace's 3,000+ followers at @wallacethecat.
