+ In case you didn't hear, MTV icon "120 Minutes" is back! The show returns this Saturday on MTV2 at 10 p.m. ET, as host Matt Pinfield (and his music library of a brain) walks you through today's up-and-coming music and videos. (MTV News)

+ When Beyoncé stopped by "The View" to talk about her last year off, the ladies asked if she became a Jay-Z groupie while spending more time with her rap mogul husband. "I've ALWAYS been a Jay-Z groupie," she replied. Atta girl. Click through to watch the video. (Neon Limelight)

+ Attention, Little Monsters: Photographer Terry Richardson is teaming up with Lady Gaga to release a book of his famous photographs... all of her! Look for the book out this November. (Idolator)

+ Call in the Stans 'cause it's about to be on and poppin'. In a recent Complex magazine interview, Rihanna named herself among today's pop royalty, but she kind of left some people out: "There’s a pack. It’s me, Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyoncé…who else? Ke$ha, for sure." We're just the messenger! (ONTD)

+ In the latest edition of "S*** Morrissey Says," the former Smiths frontman likened the recent tragedy in Norway to the violence that takes place at fast-food chains: "That is nothing compared to what happens in McDonald's and Kentucky Fried s*** every day." o__O (Rolling Stone)

Breaking up is hard to do. So if you've been thinking about dropping the "it's-not-me-it's-you" line and breaking up right before or on Valentine's Day and you just don't have the stones to do it, here are a few vitriolic un-love songs that do an excellent job of saying “we’re through" -- and meaning it. They're the musical equivalent of a middle finger or a slashed tire. Just IM or text your soon-to-be-ex a link to any of these songs, or give them a call and play them over the phone (or take the classic "Say Anything" approach) and consider the fact that you a.) are now single – huzzah!, and b.) saved yourself a good $50 on flowers. Plus dinner.

1.) "O.P.P." -- Naughty By Nature: There's probably no better way to say "yes, I am interested in seeing other people's... privates..." than by this Naughty By Nature standard.
2.) "Trapped In The Closet" -- R. Kelly: So so so much going on in all 22 chapters of R. Kelly's R&B soap opera. Or, just skip to the "Oh my God a rubber" part.
3.) "There's No Home For You Here" -- (Ex!) The White Stripes: Jack White repeats the song's title at least six times in this song. Because he means.
4.) "I Hate You So Much Right Now" -- Kelis: The former Mrs. Nas doesn't mince words here. In fact, she screams "I Hate You So Much Right Now," sending a crystal-clear message.
5.) "70 Times 7" -- Brand New: The line "I hope you choke and die," while extreme and inadvisable, is succinct.
6.) "I Hope You Die" -- The Bloodhound Gang: Like Kelis and Brand New, The Bloodhound Gang's "I Hope You Die" is a very literal, extremely direct way of saying "I'm just not that into you." Especially the opening line, "You must die I alone am best!" And the fact that they say "die" about 40 trillion times.
7.) "I Hate Everything About You" -- Three Days Grace: EFF YEAH, EARLY 2000s!!!
8.) "Take a Bow" -- Madonna: Nothing says "we're through" more than a sexy bullfighter and Madonna dressed like Eva Peron. Rihanna did a good job of it in her version of "Take A Bow" with the cold lyric "You look so dumb right now."
9.) "Unhappy Birthday" -- The Smiths: "Because you're evil and you lie." And that's why.
10.) "Bloody Mother F***ing A**hole" -- Martha Wainwright: Self-explanatory.

We've got a soft spot for the Brooklyn indie-rock band, The Drums. With their wiry guitars and angular melodies, they make fantastic, literate pop rock with some influence from Brit titans such as Joy Division and The Smiths.

Earlier this year, we streamed a live show from The Drums, and now we've got their video for the track "Me And The Moon," taken from their self-titled album, released earlier this year.

Directed by SURROUND and The Drums themselves, the clip reminds of idiosyncratic New Wave clips from folks such as Fine Young Cannibals. For the most part, the video stays out of the way of the song, with a few atmospheric settings and some nice camera work.

Really, the most noticeable thing about "Me And The Moon" is how it shows off The Drums' unique, schoolboy hipster fashion sensibility.

Check out The Drums' video for "Me And The Moon," below. The Drums is out now.

Anyone with the ability to type and some stolen Wi-Fi thinks they're an advice-giving genius these days. So here's our expert advice: if you're looking for expert advice--specifically music advice--take it from an actual expert. Take it from Mark Ronson.

Dovetailing nicely with Mark Ronson & The Business Intl's new album, Record Collection, Mark Ronson fires off 10 must-have albums that you need in your life. While he offers the caveat that everyone's taste is different and he wouldn't presume to tell people what they need, we will tell you that Mark is clearly being too modest. These are awesome suggestions, and you should acquire these records post-haste.

Among the 10 must-have records Mark Ronson shares are classics from the likes of Radiohead, Beastie Boys, The Smiths, The Beatles and The Wu-Tang Clan.

+ Watch Mark Ronson share 10 must-have records everyone should own in the exclusive MTV Buzzworthy video below.

Here we have the video for One Night Only's "Say You Don't Want It" -- a nice enough, jaunty slice of Brit pop that wouldn't sound out of place next to Blur or The Smiths; it's debonair, breezy and instantly catchy.

But there's an elephant in the room (or the video) in the form of "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson. Now, as metaphorical elephants go, you could do worse than Watson, but her presence automatically gives One Night Only a little bit more exposure than an indie-leaning band might normally get. How did One Night Only pull off the feat of snagging Hermione for their video? She just happens to be dating One Night Only singer/guitarist George Craig. Mystery solved!

The video is actually really charming -- full of low-key footage of New York's Lower East Side. Watson appears about midway through the video, looking lost. Craig approaches her and kicks some game, no doubt revolving around he is also British and what a small world it is, etc.

Check out the video below. One Night Only's self-titled sophomore album is due out in August. Oh yeah, Emma Watson is in some wizard movie that's coming out soon, too.

Theophilus London is one of the new breed of rappers whose sound is informed equally by the dance club is it is by the street. The Brooklyn-based MC has made a name for himself on stage (touring with DJ A-Trak, as part of the 10,000 Pound Hamburger Tour) and on the blogs (where he is something of a critical darling) this year with his engaging, club-informed hip-hop, which can be heard on the This Charming Mixtape (the name of which pays tribute to The Smiths, while the mixtape's cover acknowledges Elvis Costello).

On this edition of "The 5," London, whose "Humdrum Sound" was recently released on Green Label Sound, talks about his hobby of collecting hats and pins,  his love of geometric shapes, his affection for '80 Brit titans The Smiths and Joy Division and much more.

Check out Theophilus London's MTV.com interview below. And be sure to check out This Charming Mixtape.

Yes, Adrian Grenier LAID DOWN on Alexa's couch today on It's On With Alexa Chung. No, we're not selling the couch to the most insane Adrien Grenier fan. (I asked. For my "friend," who wanted to know. She was just curious. That's all.) Anyway, here's what Alexa wore on today's show, which featured Ashley Greene in LEATHER SHORTS!

Thursday, July 16
+ Leggings: Les Chiffoniers
+ Shirt: From her boyfriend! Adorbs!
+ Ballet flats: Chanel
+ Necklace: Pono

If YOU MUST get the EXACT same vintage Smiths "Meat Is Murder" t-shirt Alexa has, you can find them here. Or, you can branch out on your own a little bit and get a horror-inspired tee by vintage-esque label Never Sleep. It's $36 at NvrSlp.com.

If you're ABSOLUTELY positive you can pull off liquid leggings and don't have 900-some bucks to spend on Les Chiffoniers, I (hesitantly) recommend Members Only. They're $61 at membersonlystyle.com.

Audrey Hepburn taught us the importance of the black ballet flat, and I'd like to think that she'd appreciate them with PVC leggings too. Get French Sole's ruched "Wag" ballet flat for $150 at Endless.com.

Loved Alexa's chunky bead necklace? Meeee too. And I ALSO love this amber necklace from Ten Thousand Villages. And I LOVE that it's just $12.99 AND it's made in India by fair trade program Tara Projects.

+ VIDEO BONUS: The Smiths, "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before."

Seymour Stein, who signed The Ramones, Talking Heads, and Madonna, called "How Soon Is Now" the "Stairway To Heaven" of the '80s. Seymour, you weren't just whistlin' Dixie. The lonesome electrified ballad didn't chart particularly well, but its clever opening lines, "I am the son, and the heir," have burned themselves into modern pop culture consciousness.

The lyrics, adapted from George Eliot's Brit-lit classic Middlemarch, survived in the Love Spit Love cover version of The Smiths' "How Soon Is Now" that famously scored The Craft and TV's Charmed.

The vintage video below is classic Morrissey. Emoting from under his trademark pompadour, the British icon's throaty warble is smoother than his velvet jacket.

Watch as the king of '80s new wave performs the decade's national anthem for a live audience in the latest release from the MTV Vault.

+ Celebrate Morrissey's 50th birthday with a month of indie covers!

Not since Sinead O'Connor ripped up a pic of the Pope and the Dixie Chicks trashed Bush has a musical act inspired as much controversy as Against Me! and the fan fallout that ensued after their switch from an indie to a major label. But, if you haven't crossed the picket lines into the anti-Against Me! camp, or clogged up PunkNews with vitriol, and you've been a true-blue fan since the first time Tom Gabel picked up a guitar, then there's a fair chance you consider Against Me! "your" band.

We know, we know: You've been listening to them since practically before they were a band. You have We're Here to Ruin Your Fun on tape, and Tom's First Demo is amongst your most prized possessions. You were actually AT the Laundromat shows. You could spend hours arguing Against Me!'s place within the anarchistic punk canon. You'd grab As the Eternal Cowboy and Reinventing Axl Rose if you were headed to a deserted island and could only bring along two albums. (And Crime as Forgiven By if you were allowed to bring an EP).

You swore you'd never love again when they left Fat Wreck for Sire (once home to The Ramones, The Replacements, The Smiths, The Cure and Dinosaur Jr.), but you pretended to be sick the day New Wave came out so you could stay home and spend some special "getting-to-know-you" time with the album, which reflected the band's misgivings and anxieties about signing to a major and "keeping it real" in the face of the punk police.

And above all else, you still know, deep down in your heart, that Against Me! shows are some of the most intense live shows you'll ever experience. And you're past the point of crying "sell out" when a band's outgrown an indie, right? Do we still hate it when our friends become successful? Anyway, we're just gonna borrow Against Me! for a week, okay? Just a week. Then you get them back.

Watch Against Me!'s "Thrash Unreal" video -- (it's one of our favorite tracks off New Wave) -- check out photos from their Artist of the Week shoot in New York, watch their MTV commercial spots, and witness the gospel of Gainesville's greatest all week long on MTV.
