Right now it's no doubt that you're either knee-deep in Christmas tunes or burying your face in a gallon of adult eggnog -- or you're burying your face in a gallon of adult eggnog because of said Christmas tunes. But we're not total Scrooges up in here! Below is a list of some of Buzzworthy's favorite Christmas classics along with newer, Noel-time tunes. We also threw a few carols in there that make us feel like this cat -- being forced to pose for a photo wearing an uncomfortable reindeer headband to the point where you feel like it's now your life forever and ever. Enjoy! Oh, and Happy Holidays!
Before You Exit, "O' Silent Night": Orlando pop-punk foursome Before You Exit tug at our heartstrings with their version of "O' Silent Night," with exactly the kind of harmonics and haircuts we need to warm the cuckolds of our hearts this holiday season. Wait, what are cuckolds anyway? + Listen to Before You Exit, "O' Silent Night."
Forever The Sickest Kids, "Mistletoe Is For Quitters": A new edition to the pop-punk Christmas song canon, if you will. Forever The Sickest Kids' new single, "Mistletoe Is For Quitters," has little to do with rehab and a lot to do with crying on Christmas. + Listen to Forever The Sickest Kids, "Mistletoe Is For Quitters."
Britney Spears, "My Only Wish": The absolute holy grail of 1990s pop Christmas songs. + Listen to Britney Spears, "My Only Wish."
Run-D.M.C., "Christmas In Hollis": These pioneers of early hip-hop took a little time out in 1987 to let us in on what Christmas is like in Queens. Spoiler alert: average amount of holiday cheer, way more gold chains. + Listen to Run-D.M.C., "Christmas In Hollis."
Lady Gaga, "Christmas Tree": You have to hand it to Lady Gaga -- she released this song and STILL became one of the richest women on the planet. It's no "Bad Romance," but it's still worth listening to due to the fact that she had the cojones to compare her... muffin... to a... delicious Christmas tree? + Listen to Lady Gaga, "Christmas Tree."
Check out more holiday songs after the jump!

After The Strokes took a few years off to focus on solo projects, they're back together now and fans (including us) couldn't be happier about it. And if the video for their latest single, "Taken For A Fool," teaches us anything (aside from what life would look like if you were on a 24/7 acid trip), it's that these boys are simply meant to play together.
The Laurent Briet-directed video (Radiohead, Aphex Twin) showcases The Strokes playing on what seems to be a rotating stage, with the audience having a consistently shifting view of the performance (kinda like they're on one of those really romantic rotating beds). The clip is deliberately lo-fi, which perfectly compliments the grainy, we're-playing-this-in-my-parents-garage vibe of "Taken For A Fool." And of course, what kind of Strokes video would be complete without some sporadically popping colorful bubbles thrown in for good measure...or something?
"Taken For A Fool," off of The Strokes' latest album Angles, will be released officially as their second single July 26. And major bonus alert: it will feature a B-side duet version with the legendary Elvis Costello, whom the band has often cited as a major influence. Yeah, we're gonna need to download that ASAP.

It seems like just last week we were talking about "Under Cover of Darkness," the first single off The Strokes' new album, Angles (oh wait, it was last week). Now, a week before the album's official release -- if that means anything these days -- the full album has been unleashed online ... by The Strokes themselves. And we couldn't wait to get our greedy little ears all over it.
We streamed, we listened, we nodded along. And dare we admit, we may have wiped away a tear of joy. Thank you Julian, Nikolai, Albert, Fabrizio and Nick. Just ... thank you. Because what we have here is New York's quintessential post-millennial garage band returning to the scuzz-rock of their epochal 2001 debut album Is This It? with a few futuristic-sounding bells and whistles (no, seriously) thrown in to bring everything up to date.
Angeles is The Strokes' first album since 2006's First Impressions of Earth, and comes on the heels of a few sonic detours, including four solo albums. This time around, lead singer Julian Casablancas e-mailed his vocal tracks to the remaining four members rather than recording with the band. While some members of the group have been less than happy about this approach, we mostly care about the result: a taut 30-minute New Wave-meets-rock album that simultaneously expands the band's sound while retaining all the things we loved about 'em in the first place. And never wears out its welcome.

Has it really been five years since The Strokes released an album? Where is the band hanging out in their new video "Under Cover of Darkness"? What happened to Albert Hammond's magnificent mini-afro? So many questions.
While we eagerly await Angles, the group's fourth album, we're stoked for Strokes 2.0, if you will, which finds our favorite scuzzy New York quintet nattily clad in fitted suits and tuxes (though we still kind of miss the all-denim-all-the-time look favored by the group when they first came out).
Last month, the boys fled the warm confines of their home city for Loews Theater in Jersey City, N.J., where they took over the ornate, palatial surroundings to shoot "Under Cover of Darkness." As they make full use of the giant space, watch the group roam around the lobby, stage and backstage area doing their best imitations of a classical music quintet. And if you missed the antics of lead singer Julian Casablancas, don't worry. Shunning the video dress code with a sunglasses/leather jacket ensemble, the singer plays cards, throws water jugs and mic stands and generally displays the type of anti-theater behavior we've grown to love.
Happily, though, the sound hasn't changed much: This iteration of The Strokes is still all bouncy pop melodies and layers of dirty scuzz, even if it means they're no longer welcome at the opera any time soon.

Just in time for you to begin to maybe prepare for contemplating the idea of summer again, The Strokes are back with their new single, "Under Cover Of Darkness." And guess what? You can have it for free.
"Under Cover Of Darkness" is the first single off of The Strokes' long-awaited fourth album (two years in the making) Angles, due out March 22. Fans have been anxious to hear what The Strokes sound like nowadays, considering they were on a highly publicized break for about three years. The result of that break? Old-school Strokes perfection.
"Under Cover of Darkness" harkens back to the Strokes' Is This It? days -- muffled vocals, shrieky guitars and a 10 out of 10 on the "stuck-in-your-head" scale. In other words, we love it. The Strokes are like the band version of the iPhone app Hipstamatic -- cool, kind of lo-fi and making everything feel a little grittier.
