Just in case you're ever feeling too young (LOLLLL), remind yourself that Cody Simpson was born in 1997. That will bring you right back down to Earth. The "Not Just You" crooner and We The Kings' frontman Travis Clark recently performed a show together, and Travis tweeted this photo. He said, "Chillin backstage with my boy @CodySimpson sharing Aussie stories!" I wonder if they also shared great-place-to-find-guy-necklaces stories. Those are always riveting.
We knew Travis was friends with Demi Lovato, but now he's snatching up Cody Simpson, too? Unfair, Trav. How do you do it? Is it your really down-to-earth personality? Or the fact that you seriously seem chill as hell and completely zen about everything so people can't help but want to be your friend? No, I don't think it's any of those things. It's got to be your hair. LOOK AT IT. It's lustrous. LUSTROUS, I TELL YOU!

Not every music video can feature dramatic, sweeping crane shots of snow-capped mountains and sullen, pensive stars precariously perched atop a cliff. Or naughty surprised faces and kinda-sexy come-hither winks. And not everyone can writhe around in body paint like Beyonce can or baffle us like Lady Gaga. Some of our favorite music videos of 2011 went straight for the LOLs using parody, satire, good old-fashioned sight gags and intentionally bad overacting. Here, in no particular order, are some of the, well, funniest funny videos of 2011.
+ Katy Perry, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" -- If Katy Perry had only given us Rebecca Black, it would've been enough for us. But she packed her "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" video with over-the-top cameos, including Kenny G blowing sax on a roof, Deborah Gibson and Corey Feldman AND HANSON!
+ Chromeo, "When The Night Falls" -- We're pretty sure that you can't get pregnant just by LOOKING at Chromeo's Dave 1 and P-Thugg... or CAN you? Regardless, the kid is not my son, but Chromeo better be ready to shell out thousands in child support.
+ Jessie J, "Who's Laughing Now" -- In her Emil Nava-directed video, lil Jessie J goes back to school and draws strength from bullies and haters while real Jessie J, posed as a lunch lady in serious need of a makeover, hits back with a raised middle finger and the best revenge of them: BEING FAMOUS BEING AND PAID.

+ Ke$ha, "Blow" -- Unicorns, Muenster cheese and Ke$ha are pretty much all you need to create organic hilarity, but Ke$ha totally raised the bar when she killed -- and mounted! -- James Van Der Beek.
+ Duck Sauce, "Big Bad Wolf" -- A-Trak and Armand Van Helden LITERALLY turn into d***heads in Keith Schofield's ragingly inappropriate, howlingly hilarious "Big Bad Wolf" video. But they find love, so it's almost sweet, right?
+ Beastie Boys, "Make Some Noise" -- Elijah Wood's Ad-Rock impression is scary-good. But Danny McBride as MCA and the Beasties' musical history in cameo form is almost genius.

+ Black Keys "Lonely Boy"-- If you thought that one continuous shot of a man dancing outside of a motel wouldn't be funny, then you thought way way wrong.
+ We The Kings, "Friday Is Forever/ Rebecca Black 'Friday' Mashup" -- Sometimes the funniest videos are the cheapest. And we mean that lovingly, We The Kings. Their "Friday Is Forever" video is a mashup of Rebecca Black's "Friday" and a bizarro joyride with Black Swan, Ke$ha, and Charlie Sheen all in the same car.
+ Foo Fighters, "Walk" -- Dave Grohl is fed up with just about everything, pulls a Michael-Douglas-in-"Falling-Down," minus the super unfortunate haircut, plus the unsatisfying cheeseburger, ends up tased. Guitars, not guns!

There's nothing quite like the warmth of the holidays to inspire some BFF hugs. At least it seems like it did for Demi Lovato and We The Kings lead singer Travis Clark recently. The pair are currently on tour together, and that cross-country trek probably brought the two closer than they ever imagined! Guys, when you share a bathroom, you get really close, realllllly fast.
But it looks like the "We'll Be A Dream" singer shares more than the same toilet tour schedule with Demi -- they share the same hair color! Demi tweeted an adorbz snapshot of the two hanging out in front of what looks like a hotel Christmas tree with the caption, "Happy holidays from the two gingers on tour!!! :)" Just a few weeks ago, Demi tweeted a pic of her new hair color, and we have a sneaking suspicion that maybe she went red to show her fellow tourmate some camaraderie. She just seems like one of those super nice friends who'd go out of her way so someone didn't feel like an odd man out. She's officially tied (in our book) with Taylor Swift as one of the sweetest ladies in the world!

We The Kings just changed the game. No, literally -- their new interactive music video/video game "Say You Like Me" just made it impossible for regular old music videos to ever be cool again.
We The Kings' innovative video creates an alternate reality where band members become video game avatars that fans can control. For once in your life you can actually have power over a famous musician! (Take that, Selena Gomez.) Adding yet another level of customization, WTK fans can choose to play as either lead vocalist Travis, guitar player Hunter, bass player Drew or drummer Danny, and in either easy, medium or hard mode.
In terms of plot, the video is simple: We The Kings chose to employ the tried-and-true "there's a hot girl in distress and I have to save her" plot as they attempt to locate their kidnapped leading lady. The boys face a series of challenges, one of which is combating a super villain by throwing eggs and pies in his face. There's also some "Matrix"-style karate chopping and the opportunity for players to lock and load a virtual gun on the bad guys. Yikes, I'm becoming a gamer as we speak!
If the user wins and completes all the levels as all four members of We The Kings, they'll receive a free download and top billing on the leader board. BRB, writing a memo to every other band telling them to step their music video game up.

There's nothing worse than one of your fave teams losing, except when your reaction is caught on the JumboTron for the whole stadium to see. We The Kings' Travis Clark and Danny Duncan hit up the final ALDS game between the Texas Rangers and the Tampa Bay Rays, and were snapped looking MAD disappointed. Either their team's struggling or the park just ran out of nachos -- both situations are too much to handle.
Judging by the score, though, we're betting the "Friday Is Forever" bandmates are rooting for the Rays. It seems like a tense game judging by the way both dudes have their hands on their heads, almost like they're surrendering to the sports gods. And it's a downer to see the guys so sad! They're usually super fun and chipper, like when they paid homage to Rebecca Black's "Friday" video.
You know, those giant screens are always up to no good. In between showing disappointed fans and making our pores 100 times larger than they are, JumboTron's just plain trouble.

Another another day, another lyric video. Except not really, since what that actually implies is the new We The Kings lyric video for "Say You Like Me" isn't special. But it really is!
"Say You Like Me" is a fun, cheeky, high energy ode to that one girl who you just NEED to make fall in love with you. According to We The Kings, every other girl might as well be chopped liver, and if the band had only one wish it would be for this lucky gal to be obsessed with them 'til the end of time. Except wait, maybe they'd also have to ask for another wish to clone her... since there are four band members. Okay, treading into uncomfortable territory!
Frontman Travis pines, "I wish my heart was always on her mind/'Cause she's on mine like all day, all the time/Forget me not, forget me now/I've come too far to turn around." Seriously, what the hell kind of perfume is this chick spritzing, and can I order it on Amazon?
After pining some more, the song's quieter verse bursts into a booming chorus where, believe it or not, these rich, famous, and cute band boys are still longing for this insane mystery girl who refuses to date them: "Cause I'm never going down/I'm never giving up/I'm never gonna leave/So put your hands up."
Wow. Persistence is so hot. We really don't understand this girl's reluctance. Maybe if everyone downloads the single and makes "Say You Like Me" the number one song in the country, she'll come around?

We The Kings, the best thing to come out of Florida since orange juice and space shuttles, have released a video for their new song "Friday Is Forever," and it's a fairly straightforward "driving around and chilling" video, with one twist: they're on a boat, motherf***r! "Friday Is Forever" is the lead single from the band's forthcoming third full-length, and it's a smooth confection of laid-back beach pop fit for lazy summer days and nights. "Friday is forever, we belong together, so come on, come on don't you say never," the ginger-haired Travis Clark croons convincingly, while smiling at people from atop his whimsical perch. This is all well and good, but where are they going in that thing?
Not the high seas. Much like in Rebecca Black's infamous "Friday" video (to which comparisons are inevitable), the boys end up at some kind of outdoor party where they're the main act. I'd be remiss not to mention that We The Kings already embraced Rebecca Black with a goofy video mashup of their respective weekend anthems. And why wouldn't they?

Wow, people really love Fridays. We The Kings' newest single, "Friday Is Forever," off of their yet untitled upcoming album, sings the praises of everyone's favorite day of the week. And the Florida pop-rockers got some inspiration from a fellow Friday lover for their video -- Rebecca Black.
It turns out We The Kings are among Rebecca Black's more than 111 million (!!!) YouTube fans, so they decided to record their own take on the famous "Friday" video. And what better song to do it for than their single "Friday Is Forever."
We The Kings' "Friday Is Forever" video is basically Rebecca Black's exact "Friday" video, with the heads of Travis Clark and his bandmates strategically superimposed onto the heads of Rebecca Black and her friends. Since there weren't enough heads to go around, look out for cameos from Ke$ha, Michelle Obama and Charlie Sheen. The video is kind of like one of those JibJab cartoons, but with more "fun, fun, fun."
We've seen a ton of "Friday" spoofs by now, but We The Kings got really creative with theirs. "Friday Is Forever" is equal parts creepy-weird (I have a thing about floating heads), and equal parts LOL-worthy.

Who cares what a bunch of critics, writers, and music experts think about the music they loved this year? We wanna know what music YOU loved this year! Buzzworthy wants you, our loyal readers, to pick your favorite music, musicians, and music moments of 2010. From the most unbelievable videos to the songs you played over and over again, to the artists you obsessed over and the albums their year wouldn’t have been complete without. Buzzworthy obsessed about music all year long. Now it’s time for you to pick your favorites.
2010 was the year of the iPad, the tiger, Silly Bandz, and the musician! (Thanks, Twitter!) Think about it. Some of the biggest names on everyone's lips were musicians. Musicians filled our iPods, minds, magazines, and Internet search history. When we weren't busy reading their Tweets, we were Tweeting about them. Two of the entire Internet's biggest players this year (besides Mark Zuckerberg) were Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. We lived for Katy Perry's hit songs, videos, latex outfits and love life. We hung on Kanye West's every Tweet, word and musical move. Ke$ha kept us partying and forced us to come up with new and creative ways to use glitter and feathers. Taylor Swift's fractured fairy tales and tales of heartbreak broke records when she released her third album, Speak Now. Nicki Minaj gathered an army of loyal followers months before she even released her debut album, Pink Friday. And our We The Kings worship, love for Demi Lovato and preoccupation with Paramore reached new heights.
So which artist was the ultimate, absolute artist you couldn't stop obsessing over in 2010? The artist you couldn't stop listening to, searching, blogging, reading about, Tweeting about and living for?
Vote now for the Artist You Couldn't Stop Obsessing Over! Voting ends Sunday, Dec. 26, at 11:59pm ET. We'll announce the video you picked as the Artist You Couldn't Stop Obsessing Over in 2010 on Tuesday, Dec. 28!
