Things are heating up in the singing competition department as well, with "American Idol" presenting their Top 5, and "The Voice" begins its battle rounds where advisers Pharrell Williams, Sheryl Crow, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, and Hillary Scott join coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher.

Fall Out Boy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Olly Murs, Major Lazer, The Flaming Lips, The Thermals, Ghostface Killah, Kid Cudi, Charli XCX release albums in this edition of The Week In Pop.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Fall Out BoySave Rock And Roll: By now you've heard FOB's new album (if not, get on it, and check out our track-by-track review!), the first since their hiatus some four years ago. While FOB's album title may imply some bombast, the band's earnest mission to make a record for themselves pays off in ambition. Fall Out Boy are back with a vengeance in the back-to-back fiery anthems "The Phoenix" and "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)" with 2 Chainz. Soulful singer Patrick Stump exudes confidence with his vocal acrobatics on "Where Did The Party Go,"  the falsettos of "Death Valley," and with the rich inflections on "Just One Yesterday" featuring Foxes. Courtney Love ("Rat A Tat"), Big Sean ("The Mighty Fall"), and Elton John ("Save Rock And Roll") also make appearances.

+ Yeah Yeah YeahsMosquito: On their fourth album, Yeah Yeah Yeahs blend disparate music styles. "It's kind of like a Yeah Yeah Yeahs soul record -- our version of one -- but it's also really playful and tongue-in-cheek sometimes. I think it's got something for everyone," Karen O explained in their video premiering Mosquito. Penned in New Orleans, "Sacrilege" features a gospel choir and "Subway" is an ode to New York with looping rhythms courtesy of a rumbling train. They explore roots reggae in "Under The Earth," and the churning, James Murphy-produced "Buried Alive" features Dr. Octagon. They lean romantic as the album closes with "Always" and the atmospheric "Wedding Song."

+ Olly MursRight Place, Right Time: U.K. sensation Olly Murs already has three albums under his belt and he's toured with One Direction, but he hadn't yet released an album Stateside... until now. For the 2009 "X Factor" runner-up's U.S. debut, songs from his No. 1 U.K. album of the same name are packaged with tunes from his sophomore album, In Case You Didn't Know ("Heart Skips A Beat," "Dance With Me Tonight," and "Oh My Goodness"). Watch Olly perform his smash hit "Heart Skips A Beat" (the recorded U.S. version features Chiddy Bang), and watch his video for "Troublemaker" featuring Flo Rida.

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

Make a donation to charity for the chance to get some quality face time with Adam Levine?? SIGN US UP.

UMMM... donating to charity for a chance to meet Adam Levine?? SIGN US UP.

It goes without saying that we would do ANYTHING to win a date with Adam Levine. Of course, snagging a date with Adam is, well... IMPOSSIBLE. However, we are now one step closer to securing a little private time with the Maroon 5 frontman, thanks to Omaze (an online fundraising platform that allows fans to win amazing things like DATES with celebrities and give back to social causes). And did we mention that this benefits an incredible charity called Aid Still Required? Sadly, we assume that this "Adam Levine private time" will be supervised and in public during the day, but we'll take what we can get.

So here's how it works: For the next two weeks, anyone can enter to win a chance to fly to Los Angeles with a friend to meet Adam backstage at "The Voice" before watching the show live. All you have to do to win this dream date with Adam is visit Omaze.com and make a $10 donation to Aid Still Required, a charity that raises money for causes that have since dropped off headlines, like Darfur, the earthquake in Haiti. (Four donations provides 40 hours of trauma relief for rape and PTSD victims in Haiti.)

Seriously, the chance to hang with Adam and support an incredibly worthy cause?? Is there anything to even talk about? We're donating this very moment, so you should too. Done and done.

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

This week, Lil Wayne drops a sequel album, I Am Not A Human Being II, and A Rocket To The Moon release their sophomore full-length, Wild & Free. Meanwhile, Senses Fail go heavy on Renacer, The Strokes experiment on Comedown Machine, and Wavves (who appear on "Late Night With David Letterman" on Wednesday) drop their fourth set, Afraid Of Heights. Also releasing new material: Depeche Mode, Dido (she's on Tuesday's "VH1's Big Morning Buzz With Carrie Keagan" and "Live With Kelly And Michael," and on Wednesday's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"), OneRepublic, and Blake Shelton (catch him Thursday on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" and "Live With Kelly And Michael"). Speaking of Blake, TV singing competitions heat up when Shelton and Adam Levine return to "The Voice" with new coaches Usher and Shakira for tonight's Season 4 premiere.

Lil Wayne, A Rocket To The Moon, Senses Fail, The Strokes, Wavves, Depeche Mode, Dido, OneRepublic + Blake Shelton release albums; "The Voice" returns with Usher and Shakira in The Week In Pop.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Lil WayneI Am Not A Human Being II: Fresh out of the hospital, Weezy rebounded from a scary seizure in time for the release of his 10th studio album, which may be one of his final albums (he said Tha Carter V will be his last, sadface). In the meantime, he's enjoying the spoils that he's earned over almost 20 years in the biz, living it up in the appropriately named "Rich As F***" video with 2 Chainz and partying in a casino and strip club on "No Worries" with Detail. He moves the party into the bedroom with slow jam "Love Me" featuring Drake and Future, and Weezy ends on a high note with the club banger "My Homies Still" featuring Big Sean.

+ A Rocket To The MoonWild & Free: Singer/guitarist Nick Santino and company's sophomore effort picks up where they left off on 2009's On Your Side, honing their blend of rock, emo, folk, and pop with touches of country. Check out the sunny acoustic stroll of "Whole Lotta You" (and watch their behind-the-scenes video for the tune), and for the more emotional side of the alt-rock spectrum, grab a box of tissues and watch the heartstring pulling, romantic video for "Ever Enough," which features Disney star Debby Ryan.

+ Senses FailRenacer: The name of the album is telling, meaning "to be reborn" in Spanish. Senses Fail have made some changes since 2010's The Fire. Songwriter-guitarist Garrett Zablocki left, and he was replaced by Strike Anywhere's Matt Smith, and they've moved into heavier musical territory, too. Check out the scorching "Holy Mountain" and "Mi Amor," which Buddy Nielsen sings partially in Spanish. There's also "Closure/Rebirth." which beckons to "Let It Go" before culminating in a wave of static. Stream Renacer on Buzzworthy.

Adam Levine goes shirtless on 7Hollywood magazine.

Just your daily serving of shirtless Adam Levine. It's better than vitamin C!

As you well know by now, we're pretty massive Stans of shirtless Adam Levine because, well, WHY NOT? The tattoos! The pecs! And those lines really ripped dudes get around their uhhhh, pelvis (we'll stop right there). In fact, only a few weeks ago, we devoted an entire post to gratuitous photos of shirtless Adam Levine, and today we're following up! Only this time, we're disguising our obsession with Adam's cut bod by pretending to focus on what he has to say in the "Icons" issue of 7Hollywood magazine. (JK! We're totally interested in what Adam has to say, but we reserve the right to stare at him for seven more hours minutes.

The Maroon 5 singer graced the cover of 7Hollywood magazine's "Icons" issue, a title we entirely feel he deserves, because all icons should have milli-packs, right? That, and super successful music careers, judging careers, "SNL" hosting gigs, and fragrance lines. It also doesn't hurt that Adam can twist his body into yoga positions only trained circus performers can handle. Because if getting your elbow up above your head doesn't scream "ICON!" then we don't know what does.

Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and "The Voice" launches a new fragrance line.

Adam Levine launches his eponymous fragrance line.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has famously tweeted about never wanting to get into the fragrance game. Except now Adam's about to launch his eponymous fragrance line, so it's off into the game he goes! That said, we imagine it's mad hard to turn down what we presume is a monstrous check with at least six decimal places after the zero. It's also probably so awesome to be all like, "hey world!! now you can smell like me!" (Ugh, we would NOT be good at being famous.)

Adam's eponymous fragrance line is available for both men and women and comes in a bottle shaped like a vintage microphone (LOVE that). Although Adam describes the woman's fragrance as  a "woody floral," we'd prefer to call it "what you should smell like if you want to hook up with Adam or someone equally as hot." And the men's scent? We're assuming that just smells like sex, 5 o'clock shadows, sold-out concerts, rock and roll, and Adam's chiseled jawline. And if it doesn't, WHY NOT???

Adam's fragrance will launch this month at Macy's in the U.S., and we suggest you get a few cases so you can smell better shirtless. Don't have Adam Levine's torso? Then cover up and just focus on smelling better.

Adam Levine strikes a Yoga pose in the March 2013 issue of Men's Health

Yogi, or rock band frontman?

This isn't the first time we've been in awe of Adam Levine's yoga prowess -- remember when he got all "I'm hot and say 'namaste'" for Details? But after seeing his spread in the March 2013 issue of Men's Health, we're fully convinced that when Adam's not tearing up the charts with Maroon 5, he's moonlighting as a one-man "Cirque Du Soleil" performer! Because holding your entire (horizontal) body up by your hands can't actually be something a non-circus person is capable of, right?

As the cover boy for Men's Health's March 2013 issue, we see Adam showing off his multiple tattoos, smizing like crazy, AND doing MAD YOGA POSES. The best part? Adam loves yoga just about as much as we love watching Adam do yoga. "It's made me more successful," Adam said about his preferred form of exercise, adding, "I love it and don't know what I'd do without it." Well, you go right on ahead and yoga out, bb, because while we're not sure it's safe for the average person to do that sideways pose thing, we DO fully support anything that will make your abs look like this for many, many years.

Check out 5 photos of shirtless Adam Levine.

Rough Day? Here's Adam Levine almost naked in the February 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan U.K. for the Everyman Campaign for cancer awareness.

It's literally hailing outside, you MIGHT have the flu (and you got the shot!), and some boy you really liked turned out to be a pathological liar (true story from Saturday night, I'll tell y'all about it later), so this is probably a good day for a little pick-me-up! Unfortunately, acquiring the entire Prada Spring 2013 handbag collection is going to be slightly out of budget, but wanna know what we can do? We can whip up a beautifully curated collection of shirtless Adam Levine photos for you to look at all day! (When you can't have handbags, images of a practically nake-o Adam Levine plastered all over your screen is the next best option.) Because after we saw Adam take his shirt off on "SNL," a bare-chested Adam Levine is ALL. WE. CAN. THINK. ABOUT. Like, seriously, we can't sleep. So go ahead, grab your pals for a rousing game of "count the tattoos"! And don't feel bad about zooming in on Adam, because we KNOW how tempting that is.

Check out 5 photos of shirtless Adam Levine.
