Adele

Adele's getting a Madame Tussauds wax figure! And it's...kind of gross so far!

It was only a matter of time before Adele got her own Madame Tussauds wax figure (FINALLY, right?!), and now work has officially commenced on the Oscar/Grammy winner's upcoming masterpiece! And if you're wondering whether we got over our whole "creeped out by pop stars' clay heads" thing after seeing the early stages of One Direction's wax figures, the answer would still be a gigantic "NOPE." Call us crazy, but we prefer seeing pop stars' wax heads connected to their wax bodies. *Shudders*

The "Someone Like You" singer's wax figure is currently being built out of clay (they use the clay as a mold to pour the wax into -- the more you know!) by sculptor Louis Wiltshire, and will likely make its London debut in July. (Think they'll mimic her 2013 Oscars "Skyfall" look? We're just glad they didn't go with her "derp" face!) Well, judging by Adele's outstanding (if not a little frightening) wax head, we're totally sure that Louis will NAIL the rest of her look. We also think that these wax artists deserve a standing "O" for all their hard work -- we know how hard it is working with clay after taking one messy afternoon class at Color Me Mine, and it ain't that easy.

Adele

Adele's Oscar "derp" face beats every other "derp" face EVER.

While y'all are giggling over Jennifer Lawerence's slip up the stairs before accepting her Best Actress Oscar at the 85th Annual Academy Awards (you handled that fall like a PRO, Jen!), we're over here EXCLAIMING over the incredible "derp" face Adele pulled earlier on the red carpet. (In case you need a "derp" face refresher, please see Selena Gomez's take while getting her toes done). That's right, not only did the Grammy winner (and now Oscar winner for Best Original Song!) BRING DOWN THE EFFING HOUSE with her stellar "Skyfall" performance, she also did a pretty convincing portrayal of "the famous musician who just got a huge whiff of an A-lister's really bad cologne." Or maybe Kristin Chenoweth took her shoes off on the red carpet again. We'll never know.

The "Someone Like You" singer was snapped derping it up on the Oscar red carpet, simultaneously reminding us why we will adore her forever and beyond. Because while all those movie stars were posing for the camera, showing off their designer looks, and smizing within every inch of their lives, Adele was being adorable, rocking giant retro eyelashes, and -- WHOOPS! -- dropping an IDGAF "derp" like a boss. (We're sure it was a candid photo accident, but even when Adele's looking awkward, she's still the most endearing famous person we stalk wish we knew.) Between this hilarz photo moment and that time Kelly Clarkson photobombed Ellen DeGeneres at the Grammys, we would officially give anything to become photo booth BFFs with these gals. Think of the potential faces!! (We're practicing our "derps" now.)

Adele wins an Academy Award for "Skyfall."

Adele wins the Oscar for Best Original Song, "Skyfall."

+ Congrats to Adele, who won the Oscar for Best Original Song for her James Bond "Skyfall" theme song, which she performed during the show. She also gave a touching acceptance speech, and she's halfway to scoring the EGOT! We'd be all about a Broadway musical starring Adele, just saying. (MTV News)

+ It was a music-oriented Academy Awards Sunday. Watch the tribute to movie musicals, with Catherine Zeta-Jones' slinky performance of "Chicago"'s "All That Jazz," Jennifer Hudson killing it with "Dreamgirls"' "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," and the cast of "Les Miserables" closing out the set. (MTV News)

+ The legendary Dame Shirley Bassey also astounded at the Oscars with her 007 theme song, "Goldfinger," and Barbra Streisand paid tribute to composer Marvin Hamlisch during the "In Memoriam" montage with "The Way We Were." Both ladies received the standing ovations they deserved. (MTV News)

+ Oh dear. Kanye West is apparently not fond of Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie," and he also reiterated his hate for the Grammys during his concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday. Watch him performing "Clique" and then sounding off. (RapFix)

+ Though Yeezy may not be feeling Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake's recent collabo, we sure are excited for their upcoming tour. Dubbed the "Legends Of The Summer," the tour hits 12 stadiums and launches July 17 in Toronto and wraps in Miami on Aug. 16. (MTV News)

+ Watch two stirring One Direction charity PSAs that benefit the anti-famine organization Comic Relief. The PSAs show the bandmates visiting children with malaria in Accra, Ghana. Harry Styles and Liam Payne appear in one ad, and Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson the other. It moved them (and us) to tears. (Idolator)

Beasts Of The Southern Wild star Quvenzhané Wallis may not have won an Oscar (yet), but she has scored the starring role in the remake of the classic musical "Annie," which is being produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Jay-Z. The film is slated for release next year. (MTV News)

Adele with her kid double courtesy of ToddleWood.
Adele and kid Adele are the cutest duo of all time!

The 2013 Grammys may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean we can't have a SERIOUS "aww" attack from these photos shot by Tricia Messeroux for a project she calls "ToddleWood." Essentially, Tricia looks at all the biggest celebrity red carpet events (like the Grammys) and swaps our favorite celebs with look-alike kids! So, yes this is the best photo project EVER. (Seriously -- the match is SO PRECISE -- down to the lipstick shade and facial expression.) And now Tricia has taken on the 2013 Grammys red carpet, meaning that, yes, there is officially a mini-Adele, tiny Justin Timberlake, and toddler Taylor Swift walking a mini-red carpet. Thankfully there were no Grammy dress code violators, because that'd just be creepy and illegal.

Beyonce and her little Bey courtesy of Toddlewood are the cutest.

Little Bey is WERQUING!

Seriously, how spot-on are these mini-stars?? Basically now we're just hoping that the kids don't go all method on us and adopt their celeb counterparts' responsibilities. Tiny Adele shouldn't endure a tiny heartbreak in "Someone Like You," and Little Justin would just get his "Suit & Tie" dirty running around with all the other little boys. And let's just say that kid Rihanna should enjoy her younger years before she discovers her older version's Instagram. Still, these pictures are so perfect, darling, and innocent -- so we're making a conscious decision not to worry TOO much about these child stars' futures for now. (Just say no, kids. Nobody wants to burn out before age 17.)

Check out more 2013 Grammys "Toddlewood" photos after the jump!
