Hope you brought some tissues.
Thank God it's Friday, because we might not be able to get out of bed tomorrow after watching Daft Punk's new video for "Instant Crush" (from their Random Access Memories album). We've seen a lot of music videos in our day, but we've never seen a clip that evokes so much emotion from, well, so little happening.
What's that even mean? Allow me to explain: Daft Punk's new video (featuring Strokes singer Julian Casablancas) takes place in what looks like a replica of NYC's Museum Of Natural History, and Julian plays a historical soldier mannequin who falls in love with a colonial woman mannequin. (Talk about century-crossed lovers, amirite?) They don't say anything to each other (I guess it's impossible to speak when your mouth is sealed shut), but it's definitely love at first sight.
Watch Daft Punk's "Instant Crush" video featuring Julian Casablancas after the jump.
