Justin Timberlake and Frank Ocean share a laugh at the Time 100 Gala.

Whatever Frank Ocean's saying at the Time 100 Gala has Justin Timberlake in STITCHES

We TOTALLY hate being left out of a good joke, so we really want in on whatever Frank Ocean said to make Justin Timberlake laugh THAT hard at the gala for Time's 100 Most Influential in the World. Maybe Frank and Justin were trading stories about performing on "Saturday Night Live"? It's also possible that they were giggling with glee over just how stacked their bank accounts are. ORRR maybe musicians as talented as them just sit around laughing for no good reason -- because they CAN! Isn't life funny when you've got endless talent and access to EVERYTHING?

Frank and Justin were snapped sharing a funny moment at the Time 100 Gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Not only did Justin and Frank nail their "Suit & Tie" ensembles, but they were also honored at the event and brushed shoulders with other talented big deals in the music biz such as Christina Aguilera and Miguel. And while we're happy that Frank and Justin spent some time telling each other knock-knock jokes or whatever, we reallly hope they spent part of the evening discussing a possible future collabo?! Just IMAGINE!!

Katy Perry talks new songs and collabs from her forthcoming third album.

+ Katy Perry's halfway done with the follow-up to Teenage Dream! The singer talked collabs with Sia, Dr. Luke, and more during a Q&A session yesterday at ASCAP's I Create Music Expo, and even discussed a recent collab with Greg Kurstin and Bonnie McKee called "Double Rainbow." (Billboard)

+ Boston's Dropkick Murphys raised $65,000 in just 15 hours for the victims and families of their hometown's marathon bombings. The guys raised the money by selling "For Boston" T-shirts (which are still available); the proceeds benefit those affected by the tragedy. (Rolling Stone)

Jay-Z, BeyoncéJustin TimberlakeFrank OceanMiguel, and Christina Aguilera are among the stars who made Time's "100 Most Influential People In The World" list. Check out what the magazine's celebrity profilers had to say about them! (MTV News)

+ According to the New York Post, Kanye West may be returning to host "Saturday Night Live"; they report he's scheduled for the May 18 episode, though "SNL" producers have not confirmed 'Ye's appearance. (RapFix)

+ We're not sure what this means, but Selena Gomez reportedly flew to Oslo, Norway, yesterday while her (we think?) ex Justin Bieber was performing in the city. Coincidence? (E!)

Frank Ocean shows us his intimate tour diary in his latest video, "Lost."

Frank Ocean invites us on tour in his latest "Lost" video.

Frank Ocean has had a whirlwind year and a half: Not only did he perform (and win!) at the 2013 Grammys, but Frank also made hip-hop history by publishing a brave letter explaining his sexuality, and of course, danced with Taylor Swift (our ultimate goal in life). It's a lot to digest if you read about each item individually, but lucky for us, Frank made a compelling visual travel diary of his last few months for "Lost," his latest clip from the critically acclaimed channel ORANGE. And in just a few short minutes, dude has collected more stamps in his passport than we probably will in our whole life.

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

This week, Tyler, The Creator unleashes Wolf (catch him on Thursday's "Late Show With David Letterman," and watch him play "Felicia The Goat" in this Mountain Dew ad), and New Kids On The Block (who appear on "The View" Wednesday) release their sixth studio album, 10. Meanwhile, the defunct Rilo Kiley curate some great unreleased material, B-sides, and rarities for their RKives collection, and Alkaline Trio drop their ninth full-length record, My Shame Is True. Over on TV, MTV Artist To Watch Jessie Ware guests on Thursday's "VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live With Carrie Keagan," and tune in to MTV.com on Friday to catch her livestreamed set from Webster Hall at 9 p.m. ET. The week caps off with Phoenix as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live."

Tyler, The Creator; New Kids On The Block, Rilo Kiley + Alkaline Trio release albums; watch Jessie Ware's Webster Hall concert Friday on MTV.com in this edition of The Week In Pop.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

Tyler, The CreatorWolf: For every controversy Odd Future and Tyler, The Creator have conjured, one thing he does do is live up to is his name. Tyler continues to be inventive on his dark, new effort, which addresses such personal issues as his absentee father and the death of his grandmother. Watch the NSFW "Domo 23" video, where his rap boasts land him in the wrestling ring. The clip ends by juxtaposing a clip of "Bimmer" (part of the song trilogy "Partyisntover/Campfire/Bimmer" that features Lætitia Sadier of French indie rock group Stereolab), where he likens his paramour to a BMW with harmonies from Frank Ocean (Ocean is also featured on "Slater"). Others from the OFWGKTA crew, including Earl Sweatshirt ("Rusty") and Hodgy Beats ("Jamba"), make appearances, too. Also check out "IFHY" with Pharrell and "Treehome95" featuring Erykah Badu.

+ New Kids On The Block10: For NKOTB's sixth studio album, strangely titled 10, Donnie Wahlberg told MTV News that the band has returned to their roots. "We're spilling our guts with our singing. We really went back to our vocal roots. Everybody sang and everybody's a part of it. It's more of a traditional vocal group record," he said. To wit, check out "Survive You"'s barbershop quartet vocal harmonies (or in the New Kids' case: quintet). Then, there's the hip-hop-tinged "Miss You More," the R&B-influenced "Jealous (Blue)," the dancefloor-ready "Crash," and the poppier "Now or Never." Also, watch "Remix (I Like The)," where the guys party it up with actress Artemis Pebdani.

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

Lady Gaga is recovering well from surgery and is ready to work, watch Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Jaden + Willow Smith on BET's Rip The Runway, and more in today's Buzz Bites.

Lady Gaga is recovering well from her hip surgery, and her manager says she's ready to work.

+ She's one of the hardest working women in the biz, so it's not surprising that Lady Gaga wouldn't let a little hip surgery get in the way of her work. Her manager, Vincent Herbert, says she's "doing unbelievable" and is "ready to get back to work" on her new album, ARTPOP. (MTV News)

+ BET's "Rip The Runway" aired last night. Watch performances and runway strutting from Rick Ross and Meek Mill, Jaden and Willow Smith, Luke James, and more. (That Grape Juice)

+ Now that Taylor Swift's on tour, we were totally hoping she'd do some more live collabos like she did with Usher, Nicki Minaj, and others on her last outing. Watch her perform "Hey Porsche" with Nelly on her stop in St. Louis! (Rap-Up)

+ Think you can help write the next "Call Me Maybe"? Well, here's your chance. Carly Rae Jepsen has paired with Coca Cola's "Perfect Harmony" contest, where "American Idol" fans get to choose lyrics to a song written by Carly. (MTV News)

+ FYI, weed and borders do not mix: Authorities found a small amount of marijuana on a passenger aboard one of Rihanna's 10 tour buses on the Ambassador Bridge between Ontario, Canada and Detroit, Mich. Said passenger was cited with a civil penalty, and RiRi was not on any of the buses. (Billboard)

Listen to Diamond Youth cover Frank Ocean's "Thinkin About You."

Check out Diamond Youth's acoustic cover of Frank Ocean's "Thinkin About You."

When we first met Baltimore/Chicago's Diamond Youth, we immediately thought of our favorite distortion-based late '90s-early '00s alt-rock bands (Muse, Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots). We pretty much based this on Diamond Youth's testosterone-filled, crazy-bananas, lose-your-marbles moshy "Orange" video and every guitar-driven track on their recently released Orange EP. But little did we know that Diamond Youth had a softer side for emotionally vulnerable R&B songs, most notably Frank Ocean's heartfelt jam "Thinkin About You," which lead singer Justin Gilman has thoughtfully covered below. Now we're thinkin' about not being so quick to judge...

Listen to Frank Ocean's "Eyes Like Sky."

Even Frank Ocean's reject songs are Grammy-worthy hits!

Wanna know why we think Frank Ocean is winning at life? Aside from the time we saw him dancing with Taylor Swift? Oh, just when the reject songs that DIDN'T make it on to his two-time Grammy Award-winning Channel Orange album are so beautiful, we barely have the words to articulate it (it just comes out something like "duhhhhh guhhhhhh"). And on that note, please cue "Eyes Like Sky," a new Frank Ocean track rumored to have been written during his Channel Orange sessions but, for reasons we simply cannot comprehend, didn't make it on to the final record.

Listen to Frank Ocean's "Eyes Like Sky" after the jump.
