Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience Part 2" is due Sept. 30!

+ Looks like Justin Timberlake's readying new music, and it's coming Sept. 30! Yesterday he tweeted an Instagram taken from behind a mixing board with a handwritten sign that read "The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) Sept. 30th." JT's also in the photo, strumming a guitar. (Billboard)

+ Last night, during a show in Dubai, Justin Bieber was reportedly tackled onstage by a fan. Justin was OK after the incident (although a piano was overturned), and he finished the show after security removed the attacker. (MTV News)

+ This weekend Miley Cyrus joined Instagram! The first picture she shared is her looking stunning from her Maxim photo shoot, which she captioned, "My 1st Instagram is dedicated to all my fans. Thank you for crowning me #1 Maxim Hot 100." (Just Jared Jr.)

+ "Good Morning America" and the "Today" show have each announced their summer concert series lineups. Among "GMA"'s performers are Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and The Wanted. "Today"'s lineup includes One Direction, Fall Out Boy, and New Kids On The Block. See the full schedules. (MTV News)

+ Rihanna's "777 Tour" documentary (where Rihanna, journalists, and fans embarked on a whirlwind seven-day world tour) airs tonight on FOX. In the meantime, get a sneak peek of what seemed like a cray, cray trip --  one journalist streaked through the airplane aisle! (Idolator)

+ Springfield's most famous family will head to Iceland in the May 19 episode of "The Simpsons," which features an appearance from ambient indie rockers Sigur Rós. The Icelandic group scored part of the episode, which will feature a new song, and the band will also reinterpret the show's theme song. (Pitchfork)

+ New Kids On The Block's Joey McIntyre completed yesterday's Boston Marathon before two bombs exploded, killing at least three and wounding what's reported at more than 100 people. He tweeted the detonations happened "about 5 minutes after I finished," and added "I'm OK, but I'm sure there are many hurt." (Billboard)

+ Kanye West is currently working on his sixth studio album, though few details have leaked about it... until now. Turns out Daft Punk was recently in their Paris studio with 'Ye. "It was very raw: He was rapping -- kind of screaming primally, actually," Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter said. (RapFix)

Ke$ha + Tegan And Sara tapped to play Logo's "New Now Next Awards 2013," Kid Cudi leaves Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music + Avril Lavigne unveils "Here's To Never Growing Up" cover in today's Buzz Bites.

Ke$ha and Tegan And Sara will perform at the Logo's "Now New Next Awards 2013" on April 15!

+ Mark your calendars: Ke$ha and Tegan And Sara will perform (and are also nominees in the "That's My Jam" category) at Logo's "New Now Next Awards 2o13"! You can begin voting now "for everything New, Now and Next in Pop Culture." Hosted by Aisha Tyler, the show airs April 15 at 10 p.m. ET. (NewNowNext)

Kid Cudi has parted ways with hip-hop label/collective G.O.O.D. Music. But before he told label boss Kanye West, he sought advice from Jay-Z who reassured him. "I never wanted to offend [Kanye], and I didn't know how he would take it, and I was like, 'Man, I do not want to make my brother mad,'" Cudi said. His third studio album, Indicud, drops April 23. (MTV News)

+ Check out a nearly naked Avril Lavigne (and a well-placed teddy bear) on her single cover art for "Here's To Never Growing Up." The song, which will be released on April 9, hails from her as-of-yet untitled fifth studio album. (Neon Limelight)

+ Speaking of album art, 98 Degrees has unveiled the cover to their upcoming album, 2.0. The artwork features the guys looking dapper in smart suits and ties. The record streets May 7, just before they depart on "The Package Tour" (tee hee!) with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men on May 28. (Billboard)

+ Watch The-Dream's NSFW video for "Slow It Down," which features Fabolous and is apparently (guessing from the lyrics and bottom shots) an R&B ode to women's behinds. The-Dream's IV Play will be released May 28. Collabos include Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Big Sean. (Pitchfork)

+ Though Nicki Minaj's "High School" video boasts extra steamy scenes with Lil Wayne, she says he behaved like a gentleman. "He refused to touch me, he's so respectful," she said during "MTV First: Nicki Minaj." She also confessed wanting to get back into her "first love": acting. (MTV News)

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

This week, Tyler, The Creator unleashes Wolf (catch him on Thursday's "Late Show With David Letterman," and watch him play "Felicia The Goat" in this Mountain Dew ad), and New Kids On The Block (who appear on "The View" Wednesday) release their sixth studio album, 10. Meanwhile, the defunct Rilo Kiley curate some great unreleased material, B-sides, and rarities for their RKives collection, and Alkaline Trio drop their ninth full-length record, My Shame Is True. Over on TV, MTV Artist To Watch Jessie Ware guests on Thursday's "VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live With Carrie Keagan," and tune in to MTV.com on Friday to catch her livestreamed set from Webster Hall at 9 p.m. ET. The week caps off with Phoenix as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live."

Tyler, The Creator; New Kids On The Block, Rilo Kiley + Alkaline Trio release albums; watch Jessie Ware's Webster Hall concert Friday on MTV.com in this edition of The Week In Pop.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

Tyler, The CreatorWolf: For every controversy Odd Future and Tyler, The Creator have conjured, one thing he does do is live up to is his name. Tyler continues to be inventive on his dark, new effort, which addresses such personal issues as his absentee father and the death of his grandmother. Watch the NSFW "Domo 23" video, where his rap boasts land him in the wrestling ring. The clip ends by juxtaposing a clip of "Bimmer" (part of the song trilogy "Partyisntover/Campfire/Bimmer" that features Lætitia Sadier of French indie rock group Stereolab), where he likens his paramour to a BMW with harmonies from Frank Ocean (Ocean is also featured on "Slater"). Others from the OFWGKTA crew, including Earl Sweatshirt ("Rusty") and Hodgy Beats ("Jamba"), make appearances, too. Also check out "IFHY" with Pharrell and "Treehome95" featuring Erykah Badu.

+ New Kids On The Block10: For NKOTB's sixth studio album, strangely titled 10, Donnie Wahlberg told MTV News that the band has returned to their roots. "We're spilling our guts with our singing. We really went back to our vocal roots. Everybody sang and everybody's a part of it. It's more of a traditional vocal group record," he said. To wit, check out "Survive You"'s barbershop quartet vocal harmonies (or in the New Kids' case: quintet). Then, there's the hip-hop-tinged "Miss You More," the R&B-influenced "Jealous (Blue)," the dancefloor-ready "Crash," and the poppier "Now or Never." Also, watch "Remix (I Like The)," where the guys party it up with actress Artemis Pebdani.

NKOTB cleans up and looks sharp in their latest hilarious video, featuring "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"'s Artemis Pebdani.

Artemis Pebdani stars in New Kids On The Block's brand-new video for "(Remix) I Like The."

Allow me to quote New Kids On The Block when I say "I like the new YOU" (well, and the old you, too. Let's be real here). Even though it demonstrates a flagrant disregard for keeping direct objects in a title, we're suddenly very obsessed with NKOTB's new video for "(Remix) I Like The," which features the quintet looking posh (and very V2, I might add) in their best Justin Timberlake/Jay-Z-style suit and ties. One can only hope they'll wear such dashing duds on their upcoming Package Tour (which we're still snarf-laughing and blushing over every time the name comes up) kicking off in May. We like the remix, baby.
