Drake received a whopping 12 BET Awards nominations.

+ The 2013 BET Awards nominations are out, and Drake has topped the list with a total of 12 nods. The show airs June 30, and performers include Chris Brown and R. Kelly. See the full nominees list. (MTV News)

+ It looks like Christina Aguilera may be returning to "The Voice" for Season 5! According to Deadline Hollywood, Xtina has signed her contract, and fellow former judge Cee Lo Green is also close to reaching a deal. Shakira and Usher took their places this season. (MTV News)

+ Speaking of "The Voice," last night's episode featured a suave performance from Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, and T.I., who sang Robin's new tune "Blurred Lines." (Neon Limelight)

+ Beyoncé canceled her Antwerp, Belgium tour date on doctor's orders as she's reportedly suffering from dehydration and exhaustion. She's currently in the midst of her European leg of the "Mrs. Carter World Tour," which heads to the States beginning June 28. Feel better soon, Bey! (MTV News)

+ Beyoncé's sister, Solange, also made headlines when she announced the launch of her own record label. "It is through SAINT RECORDS that I will be releasing my full length album, and also future projects that I'm excited about sharing!" she tweeted. (E!)

Deftones bassist Chi Cheng, pictured here in 2000, passed away on Saturday at the age of 42.

Deftones bassist and founding member Chi Cheng died on Saturday. He was 42. The musician had been in a coma since a 2008 car accident. "He was taken to the emergency room and at 3 am today his heart just suddenly stopped," his family wrote in a statement. "He left this world with me singing songs he liked in his ear." (MTV News)

+ Selena Gomez's TV premiere of "Come & Get It" at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards was a highly anticipated event, but it wasn't the only performance.
