Check out the lyric video of Snoop Lion and Miley Cyrus' "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks."

Snoop Lion and Miley Cyrus explore the stages of love in their "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks" lyric video.

The funny thing about falling in love is that it can happen so quickly that you hardly have time to process (let alone appreciate) it. The lyric video for Snoop Lion's "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks" featuring Miley Cyrus (from Snoop's recently released Reincarnated) is a perfect illustration of this: As the recently turned Rastafari's words float by, so do the good and bad times between a young, amorous couple. Love can be SO poetic.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Snoop LionReincarnated: "There's so much death, there's so much destruction, there's so much mayhem, and there's so much misunderstanding in music. We're losing so many great musicians and we don't love them while they're here. And I want to be loved while I'm here, and the only way to get love is to give love," Snoop Lion states at the onset of his post-Rastafarianism transformation debut, Reincarnated. For his Major Lazer-produced reggae-pop album, Snoop enlists a diverse array of artists. Watch the videos for "Here Comes The King" with Angela Hunte and "No Guns Allowed" with Drake and Snoop's daughter, Cori B., and listen to "Torn Apart" with Rita Ora and "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks" with Miley Cyrus. Also check out the unity track "Lighters Up" with dancehall artists Movado & Popcaan.

+ will.i.am#willpower: For will.i.am's fourth solo album, he makes 15 soon-to-be ubiquitous dance-pop tunes that are jam-packed with star collabs, including a British-accented (!) Britney Spears (watch the "Scream & Shout" remix video with DiddyHit-BoyWaka Flocka Flame, and Lil Wayne), Miley Cyrus ("Fall Down"), Justin Bieber (watch a hologram'd Biebs in the futuristic "#thatpower" video), and 2NE1 with his BEP bandmate apl.de.ap on the YOLO-minded "Gettin' Dumb." Will takes a break from the dance floor for the midtempo, contemplative "The World Is Crazy" with Dante Santiago, "Love Bullets" with Skylar Grey, and album closer "Ghetto Ghetto" with 7-year-old rapper Baby Kaely.

+ PhoenixBankrupt!: The French indie electro-pop band, who recently surprised fans at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with a guest spot from R. Kelly, release the follow-up to their mainstream breakthrough album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Highlights include the shimmery "SOS In Bel Air" with its infectious chorus, and their synth-laden single "Entertainment." The sprawling title track boasts lush instrumentation before the strutty, humorously titled "Drakkar Noir" ushers in back-to-back with "Chloroform," which deals with the more noxious side of love.

Listen to Snoop Lion and Rita Ora's "Torn Apart."

Rita Ora and Snoop Lion mourn their lost loves in "Torn Apart."

The artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop Lion, just loves him some blondes! First, he calls on professional pixie blonde Miley Cyrus for an assist on "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks," and now Snoop's all about the Jay-Z-championed singer Rita Ora. Word on the street is that Snoop and Rita became besties during their "Torn Apart" video shoot in Thailand, a sequence of events that seems bizarre since, well, we haven't even heard the song yet! That is, of course, until now, as Snoop and Rita have finally unveiled their hotly anticipated collaboration jam, slated to appear on Snoop's forthcoming album, Reincarnated.

Watch Snoop and Drake discuss their song against gun violence, "No Guns Allowed."

When Snoop Lion released "No Guns Allowed," his poignant plea to end gun violence (from the upcoming album Reincarnated), we all dropped what we were doing to listen. Snoop Lion is joined by Miley Cyrus on his new Major Lazer-produced track, "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks."

Snoop Lion teams up with Miley Cyrus on "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks."

Years from now, pop/hip-hop historians will reference 2013 as the year Miley Cyrus befriended EVERY working rapper in the game. She's already photobombed Juicy J, French Montana, and Wiz Khalifa, worked with Pharrell and Tyler, The Creator in the studio, and danced onscreen with Lil Kim and Tiffany Foxx. Now, the pop megastar is finally appearing on a bona fide hip-hop track, and there's no better place to start than with the D-O-G-G (or rather, L-I-O-N) -- aka the recently enlightened Snoop Lion. On "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks," a breezy, summer-ready track from Snoop's forthcoming album Reincarnated, we finally get to hear Miley break off a little something on her rap ISH.

Snoop Lion makes a harrowing statement against gun violence in his video for "No Guns Allowed."

Snoop Lion makes a statement against gun violence in his video for "No Guns Allowed."

One of the best things about Snoop Dogg's enlightening path to Snoop Lion is that now he's unafraid to tackle controversial issues like gun control (on second thought, he probably wouldn't have been afraid as Snoop Dogg either, but a light Rastafari touch does help drive the point home). That brings us to "No Guns Allowed," Snoop's eye-opening ballad for gun control, featuring daughter Cori B. and fellow rap superstar Drake.
