Listen to the Lonely Island's "Semicolon" featuring Solange.

The Lonely Island discuss semicolons; incorrectly.

Semicolons: the ultimate grammar nerd tool. Or is it "Semicolons; the ultimate grammar nerd tool"? Nope, that second try was wrong; semicolons are only used to connect two independent clauses. Semicolons are also the most underused piece of punctuation for a reason; everyone's scared that they'll use one incorrectly! Well, everyone except "I'm On A Boat" jokesters, The Lonely Island. In their latest bit, following the brilliantly oddball, gay marriage-themed "Spring Break Anthem," the rap comics tackle grammar usage with Maya Rudolph and Solange (!!) in "Semicolon" from their forthcoming The Wack Album out June 11.

Solange goes on a super-stylish tour of Brooklyn in her new "Locked In Closets" mini-video.

Here's how we imagine a friend-date with alt-R&B singer Solange would go: First, we'd get brunch at some Brooklyn bohemerie (new word!), then we'd color-coordinate our outfits to our surroundings, pick out some flowers and go record shopping, THEN we'd get haircuts and go dancing. Well, even if our Brooklyn friend-date with Solange only exists in our minds, we CAN enhance the fantasy with Solange's new "Locked In Closets" mini-video.

Beyoncé and Solange are clearly looking forward to their pre-Grammys mimosas.

So, the 2013 Grammys, right? Anyone else catch that? Although we saw some STUNNING performances (Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie" chief among them), we were also held captive by, well, Beyoncé just being Beyoncé. No, the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer didn't take the Grammy stage this year, but she was busy proving she didn't have to wear a gown to be the very picture of black-and-white chic and won a Best Traditional R&B Performance Grammy for "Love on Top." Well, for a woman so front and center, looks like all of her best Grammy moments happened behind the scenes, just like this gorgeous, spring-like photo of her posing with sister Solange and video director Melina Matsoukas.

Snapped hanging at the Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch, Beyoncé, Solange, and Melina (who directed Beyoncé's "Move Your Body" video!) looked 100 hundred percent un-February-like in brightly colored dresses and early-morning heels (any heel worn before 5pm is "early morning" to us, and therefore very brave). And we'd just like to say how much we wish WE looked so upbeat, fresh, and awake at brunch -- our typical brunches usually consist of T-shirts, greasy diner food, and upset stomachs (before the home fries hit). But the Knowles sisters are clearly way more profesh when it comes to getting their brunch on. Also, if a brunch has got the "Grammys" name on it, it's probably wise to show up clear-eyed and NOT still a lot little buzzed from the night before. So, good thing this isn't a POST-Grammys brunch ifyouknowhatImean.
