+ Randy Jackson has announced this season's "American Idol" will be his last. He's been a judge since the show's inception and has remained for 12 seasons. "I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry," he said in a statement. (MTV News)

Taylor Swift will appear in the season finale of "New Girl," which airs on May 14. Check out the promo for the episode, which features Tay's awesome "surprised face" look. (Idolator)

Kendrick Lamar was interviewed by Erykah Badu for Interview magazine! In the feature, he dished on groupies and talked about his recording process. "I'm very intricate about that stuff when I go into the studio -- it has to sound the way I heard it in my head," he explained. (RapFix)

Kid Cudi has parted ways with hip-hop label/collective G.O.O.D. Music. But before he told label boss Kanye West, he sought advice from Jay-Z who reassured him. "I never wanted to offend [Kanye], and I didn't know how he would take it, and I was like, 'Man, I do not want to make my brother mad,'" Cudi said.
